    Lechon & pancit
    Kathy A.

Out getting my Covid and Flu shots at Safeway Pharmacy I had time to kill. Didn't want Chili's or McD so decided to try Dick's Lechon which is one of the food trucks lining the far since of the parking lot past Petco. I'm a fan of Lechon, pancit and all the dishes making up Filipino Cuisine (won't eat balut though) so this place has been on my radar for some time. Actually got here about 1:15 after the lunch crowd so timing was perfect. After perusing the menu I decided to have the Lechon and Pancit plate. As I waited I looked around for someplace to eat. Unfortunately are no tables or chairs so you either eat in your car or find somewhere out of that area to eat your lunch. Not a fan of either of those options but since I didn't realize this before I ordered I just ate in my car. The Lechon is very lean, nice crispy skin and a subtle smoky flavor. I liked it although I do prefer a more fatty Lechon. The pancit was the Shanghai version with the skinny noodles and slivers of carrot, celery and cabbage, my favorite! Would I return....yes but not with an appointment afterwards as I would just take my food choice home.

Whenever I have a craving for lechon, I want to get it from here even though it's a bit of drive from town. Always fresh, crispy and very flavorful. Last plate I got had a generous amount of garlic cloves. Gotta eat em right away because it's not the same quality once you let it sit. It will get soggy if you wait too long. A bit pricey, but hey what isn't pricey these days, especially in Hawaii Local friendly service. Only reason I give 4 stars is because the pricing on the menu is confusing.

this is a Small! which is PLENTY enough for me

Always - when ever I have a craving for Lechon and Pancit, I visit Dick's Lechon! Its the perfect savory dish, and the lechon is really yummy with its crispy/juicyness.

Wonderful Service! We decided to get the Whole Lechon Belly for New Year's Eve which it also comes with 1 med pan of Pancit or Fried Rice. They provide their phone number on their AD & Instagram which you could call or text and they have responded urgently back to me. They had lots of Rolled Pork Belly available and I didn't have to make a deposit. The pancit looked & tasted really good and the lechon was nice and crispy. I would say it was also a decent size. They were really flexible with the pick up time as my pick up was 4PM and I ended coming late due to traffic on the free way. I was still able to pick it up close to closing time. Lots of parking in the area and the pick up was at the truck in Waikele so it wasn't a problem at all. Very well done and a good deal for $178 for both Whole Lechon Belly and 1 med pan Pancit. Highly recommend if you have a last minute event. Definitely worth the holiday special!

Lechon belly, 2 pork BBQ stick, pancit, and rice!

Lechon is bomb very crispy and meat is nice juicy and tender, skin super crunchy! Pancit was great a bit on salty side but still very tasty, pork BBQ sticks were not overly sweet, perfectly seasoned! Don't forget to ask for containers for dipping sauces! They have 4 different sauces! I love the soy sauce shoyu pairs so well with rice, BBQ sticks, and Lechon belly! Lots of parking! There sometimes is a line, it moves by fast and I didn't wait long for my order in the 2 times I've gone there! Located in a parking lot next to Petco and old navy outlet! Plate lunches at reasonable price! Pink truck you cannot miss it! Will definitely eat again when I'm around!! Highly recommend!!

    Look at that yummy goodness

Mmmm lechon special cravings hit the spot. Crunch and tasty. Didn't have pinakbet today but that's ok. Super quick service despite lunch hour. Thumbs up here.

10/10 would recommend!!! I saw this food truck on Instagram and was excited for a Filipino food truck! Great variety to choose from and good portions. Got there as soon as they opened and their food was hot and fresh!

Crispy lechon on top of fried rice? Very delicious. The lechon is crispy and there's actual meat, not just fat. Would order it again, had tiny bit of a line just as Sunday service just got done, got the food fresh though and didn't wait terribly long no more that +15 min

Fukin had roach in my plate disgusting asf n a waste of money nevah again

Do not eat from Here. Opened up my plate to find a dead roach fukin disgusting and a waste of money

Lechon Fried Rice with omelette moved to show lechon and fried rice.

Ordered the lechon fried rice omelete. (Their spelling) Was only ok. Omelette was fine, but very plain. Lechon was ok, could have used a bit more salt. Only burnt parts were crunchy. Skin was not. Maybe if it wasn't under the egg it might have been crunchy, will never know. Fried rice was oily and needed salt. Portion was big. You tell them if you want a container for sauce. You need to know what they are because the bottles aren't labeled. Also, the bottles need to be wiped down - they're very sticky on the outside. Probably won't return to this lunch truck.

Came here on Sunday 8/24 and got my food 12:20pm. This was my first time eating here and last. It wasn't busy, just a few people in front of me. There were two guys that I could see working in the truck. The thinner guy took my order (2 choice Lechon with all rice x2 and pork lumpia). While waiting for my food, the bigger guy was VAPING inside of the food truck! Just gross and against health code. Got home and opened my plate, the pork was pink... I read other reviews as well saying they got pink pork. This was a huge disappointment.

Called bc i didn't get a receipt but she argued I did and got an attitude from the start.

The inside has beautiful decor, lots of pictures of food and vibrant colors and plenty of comfortable seating. We ordered an Elena's Mixed Plate 2 plate combo with Diniguan and Monggo Beans with Pork, it came with two scoops of rice. And we also ordered the March Special which had Pancit, Gisantes, Lechon and Pork Adobo Fried Omelet. The Diniguan was made perfectly! Not sour at all but just the perfect amount of flavor.. the Monggo Beans with Pork were cooked perfectly with delicious pork pieces inside. The March Special was such a good deal! The Pancit, made just right, thr Gisantes, spot on, thr Lechon, amazingly fried and the Pork Adibo Fried Omlete was absolutely delicious! Something i didnt know I needed! The rice was also cooked perfectly, not mushy or under cooked but just right! We got cups of water to drink and they brought us out two cups and a pitcher to refill our cups at the table which I can appreciate.. It was sure good to be back, and I am happy for their business to have its own place where customers can sit, not just takeout. They are now located near West Loch station by Mickey D's and Seafood City [the shops West Loch station). I live in Honolulu but it was sure worth it to take the rail to satisfy my sisig craving. I ordered their pork sisig with rice, and it sure was still delish! Pro tip for the business is using calamansi instead of lemon (but still good!). My order seems like it is for just one person but honestly, if you share it with another person, you'd still be satisfied because it is stomach-heavy! If you didn't have much to eat throughout the day, you could easily demolish the sisig dish I ordered. For drinks, they have canned sodas inside for $2.00 but I decided to get some smoothies at Hang's just doors down the place. As the parking spot may fill up, you can always drop a buddy off to pick up some to-go order. I have yet to try some of their other dishes such as their beef pares noodles. So--if you are craving ramen--try switching it up and get some of their noodles! I also recommend getting bulk orders for parties! Mahalo and I hope this business continues to reap success!

I ordered their pork sisig with egg which cost me about $23 including tip. I'd say it was worth the cost given the portion size and the deliciousness of the pork sisig. The one thing I did not like was the Rice my plate came with. It was very wet and mushy which sucked because it killed the enjoyment of the pork sisig for me. Also, service from the cashier was not very friendly when I asked her a question, maybe she was not having a good morning. Idk. Anyways aside from that, everything else was good. Location is easy to get too, lots of convenient parking outside and dining area was very clean and up to date trendy. I do have plans to return to try their beef pares! That looks Ono too. Hope I get a better experience next time. It wasn't that bad of an experience, so I'd still recommend this place to friends and family because their pork sisig was delicious! Make sure to squeeze the lemon on top gives it extra flavor.

They have everything from bbq sticks, adobo, lechon, kilawan, lumpia and more. I got the bbq stick & chicken inasal plate. The bbq stick was packed with so much flavor! The chicken inasal was more on the huli huli side & was served with Filipino dipping sauce. They also offer free sabaw with your meal. Ordering was a little complicating, they have a menu outside with food and also more food inside. The bbq items were cooked by order and the inside food had more of the Filipino dishes like (adobo). But next to the cashier, you could also find other fried dishes as well. So a little complicated. You also have the option to sit outside under the tent or inside the restaurant with AC.
