Ate here a few times now and I get reminded that Waipahu probably has the best Filipino restaurants on the island, but it's sooo far for me to drive here for Filipino food. I only get to eat here when my wife has a dentist appointment upstairs. They have so many great choices. Maybe it's a good thing they aren't in town where I live otherwise, I'd be chubby lol. Anyways, I love the pork adobo and pork guisantes the most. The lechon kawali is good too. My wife always gets the squid guisado (gross lol). She also gets some kinda soupy looking dish that's yummy too. The parking lot is shared with several other establishments so it maybe hard to find a spot, but there're street parking too. The staff are quick and friendly. The ordering style is like a food court and there're a bunch of tables and chairs to eat on. When you're in the area, come on by.

Awesome hole in the wall filipino restaurant located in the waipahu west gate shopping center next to two other filipino restaurants. Once I couldn't stay inside because it smelled too fishy, but today it was ok. I get more if i eat in than take out for the same price because I can fill my bowl a lot more than in a take out tray. Very different and authentic filipino dishes here. Goat stew (kaldereta) - 4 stars - because it's the only place that I know of that serves goat. This delicious dish has a strong stewed flavor that drowns out any hint of gaminess to the goat. Pigs feet - 3 stars - they gave a lot, but it was mostly bones and fat, hardly any meat. The flavor was a blended sweet sour taste. Vegetable with coconut sauce - 5 stars - I don't know the name of this dish, but I haven't seen this sold at any filipino restaurants I've been to. Overall, they offer a variety of great tasting different filipino dishes, especially a lot of vegetable choices that is cheaper than other restaurants. Parking is sometimes stiff and competitive.

I called to place a phone order 3× of Pancit mix @3pm. I was told that it will be ready by 5 & when I got there 10 after 5 I asked " if my order was done? " I was told to wait 15-20 more minutes & to make things even worse, several cashier's asked me if I paid for it already? When everything was fully paid in cash when I got there.

Best place for Filipino food. Love the pork adobo with think layer of skin and fat and all the yummy goodies to fill your tummy. Came all the way from town to try this place. Plenty parking space in front of the store.

They have the best Pancit and Suman in town. Service is fast in a friendly environment.

I ordered tupig and it was terrible. It was very doughy and wasn't cooked through. I nearly spent $100 and it wasn't even worth it.

There were two people ahead of us and we probably waited about 5 minutes to have our order taken which is to be expected. The inside has beautiful decor, lots of pictures of food and vibrant colors and plenty of comfortable seating. We had some questions about the menu and the women taking our order was very helpful with everything. We ordered our food and were told to sit anywhere we like. We ordered an Elena's Mixed Plate 2 plate combo with Diniguan and Monggo Beans with Pork, it came with two scoops of rice. And we also ordered the March Special which had Pancit, Gisantes, Lechon and Pork Adobo Fried Omelet. The Diniguan was made perfectly! Not sour at all but just the perfect amount of flavor.. the Monggo Beans with Pork were cooked perfectly with delicious pork pieces inside. The March Special was such a good deal! The Pancit, made just right, thr Gisantes, spot on, thr Lechon, amazingly fried and the Pork Adibo Fried Omlete was absolutely delicious! Something i didnt know I needed! The rice was also cooked perfectly, not mushy or under cooked but just right! We got cups of water to drink and they brought us out two cups and a pitcher to refill our cups at the table which I can appreciate.. Overall such a great place with kind, friendly staff and amazing delicious food!

It might've been the search for fried chicken to which Minasa didn't disappoint. We arrived just after opening and happened to get the last open table - after ordering, of course. The restaurant is clean and well put together with darker accents. Our food came out relatively quick - having the chef's special and ube churros. The kalbi sauce soaking into the rice was the perfect balance of flavors. Same for the calamansi fried chicken. Lechon, I must say was also a fine example of how seriously the chefs take their selection of ingredients - as I looked closer, it had the classic 5 layers (shown in my photo). Usually, this is the prime factor in the perfect roast pork - providing juicy layers of pork meat. Overall, this has been the best (new) meal we've had in a LONG time. It was so delicious, I could only wish there was a way to share this place with a larger collection of diners because frankly, if you haven't tried this place, I honestly think you're missing out on the definition of culinary art. Each dish carefully crafted with the goal of providing the best experience to all the patrons. I seriously seriously hope you all have a chance to visit. If we're ever back on this side of the island, we won't hesitate to stop by.

It was sure good to be back, and I am happy for their business to have its own place where customers can sit, not just takeout. They are now located near West Loch station by Mickey D's and Seafood City [the shops West Loch station). I live in Honolulu but it was sure worth it to take the rail to satisfy my sisig craving. I ordered their pork sisig with rice, and it sure was still delish! Pro tip for the business is using calamansi instead of lemon (but still good!). My order seems like it is for just one person but honestly, if you share it with another person, you'd still be satisfied because it is stomach-heavy! If you didn't have much to eat throughout the day, you could easily demolish the sisig dish I ordered. For drinks, they have canned sodas inside for $2.00 but I decided to get some smoothies at Hang's just doors down the place. As the parking spot may fill up, you can always drop a buddy off to pick up some to-go order. I have yet to try some of their other dishes such as their beef pares noodles. So--if you are craving ramen--try switching it up and get some of their noodles! I also recommend getting bulk orders for parties! Mahalo and I hope this business continues to reap success!

They're located on the corner and once you see a tent & smell bbq, you're at the right spot. This restaurant gave karinderia vibe to it! Karinderia is basically like those food stalls they have in the Philippines, where they have a bunch of dishes and you sit out to enjoy the food. Home cooked & affordable eats. They have everything from bbq sticks, adobo, lechon, kilawan, lumpia and more. I got the bbq stick & chicken inasal plate. The bbq stick was packed with so much flavor! The chicken inasal was more on the huli huli side & was served with Filipino dipping sauce. They also offer free sabaw with your meal. Ordering was a little complicating, they have a menu outside with food and also more food inside. The bbq items were cooked by order and the inside food had more of the Filipino dishes like (adobo). But next to the cashier, you could also find other fried dishes as well. So a little complicated. You also have the option to sit outside under the tent or inside the restaurant with AC. For this type of place, if you're dining in, you order & eat first then pay. Like any karindera. Overall, this place was VERY good & SUPER AFFORDABLE.
