    Spicy pork
    Warrene C.

Takeout only. In addition to the spicy pork I also ordered a side of jap chae. This is one of the best Korean food I've had. The spicy pork and side veggies were delicious and generous. Their jap chae is the best I've tasted. The food portions are generous and the price reasonable. The order taker was very gracious. Will order here again.

Wahiawa never fails me for food options, went for the first time to grab a bulgogi/spicy pork combo and 12 pc fried mandoo. You ever go to your Korean friend's house as a kid and their mom feeds you, well that's how I felt eating this food. I ended up giving away my mandoo plate to a homeless uncle, but she gave one in the plate and it was ONO. I should've went back to grab some more. Only had one "mom" working so it's a bit of a wait, but completely worth it especially for the price. I'm coming here all the time from now on. Oh and it's a hole in the wall/take-out spot but they do take card.

Combo plate with spicy chicken and meat Jun

Looked at all of my usual Korean spots on yelp and it seems like they've all gotten worse with time. Found this place on here and my god. They have a new regular! The spicy chicken and japchae was so freaking good. I wanted a whole plate with just that lol. I'm gonna guess that the lady that helped me at the window was one of the 2 moms haha. She was so nice! 10/5 stars!!!

2 moms kitchen located in Wahiawa on N. Cane street across of Mako gas station. Decided to pick up some plate lunch for visitors to try and picnic at the beach. Tue spicy pork was very tasty and spicy it came with 2 scoops rice and vegetables sided dishes. The Bim Bim bap was also very good and good portions. The meat Jun was very tender and tasty and the dipping sauce was also very good, Must have been one of the 2 moms that took my order and cooked the food, she was so friendly and nice. Parking is on the street along side of the business there. No sitting area for take out only! If you are in a rush it is better to call in your order ahead of time.

Kalbi Combo plate & Bulgogi plate. Ono!!

Their Khalbi is so tender & flavorful, & the BBQ chicken, as well as the side veggies are awesome. Made fresh to go by a very gracious "Mom".

A take out Korean place in Wahiawa, next to a closed eatery & fishing supply store. You stand outside a widow with a plastic covering to order Once done, you wait while they prepare your food in our case 3 plates about 20 mins. No frills , good Korean entrees & reasonable prices! Food was tasty, with good portions, served in multi use containers! Highly recommend, than go to the Wahiawa Botanical Gardens or place of choice & have a delicious Korean Meal! Support 2 Mom's! Hard working ladies!

If you're driving right now please pull over to the side of the road. Great! Now open up your gps app of choice and punch in this place. Don't ask, just follow the directions!! The gps' ones. Or mines... I was driving home craving some meat jhun. I was going to go to a place I remember when I was young but having been there twice in the past few years. It just didn't remind me of my childhood memories. I did the usual, searched by stars, read reviews. Decided to give this place a shot. I will not lie, I was a little frustrated in trying to find this place, it's literally a hole in the wall kind of place. You really need to know what you're looking for and where you're looking for it. However I found it. I got to the window to order and it was really quiet. I sat for about 20 seconds and thought maybe no one knew I was there. And then I saw her literally the cutest little old lady approach the window. My crappy day at work literally faded from my mind and was instantly replaced with the warm calm of this ladies humbleness. She took my order, answered all the questions I had and I finished our conversation by asking if she worked on Sunday (it was only Friday, I haven't even tried this place yet) and I was already considering my second return because of how disarming the lady was to the stresses I had been carrying with me. Her response? She paused for a second and said yes I will be here, but after church. Then she placed her hand on something that was on her wall and she said I have to give my blessings for the blessings I received. I told myself, I'm coming back here again. Even though I don't go to church, this lady was emanating so much love that I can honestly say I felt blessed having found this place. lol I know crazy right? Yah yah yah but how was the food you must be dying to know! You're absolutely right! You've been dying since the day you were born but you're in luck cause my meat jhun was awesome and you're having a rough day, come visit this lady and she'll probably have you realizing you were happy you ended up there as well! I normally don't write reviews unless they were really deserving. This place was!!! If you read this today or tomorrow, see you Sunday! :)

First time here, always drive by here for years, Only street parking. New Owners for the pass 3-months. If you're in the Wahiawa area. Give this place a try. The Meat Jun and Spicy Pork was good . The bbq chicken a little salty. Aloha, Derek

For family dinner one night, some of us were ono for Korean food. Firing up the trusty Yelp app, there were several recommendations. We ended up going with 2 Mom's Kitchen in Wahiawa. Yelp reviews said that 2MK was takeout and street parking only, which is true. But it didn't really make an impact for us for Sunday dinner. Reviews also mentioned that they were made to order, so it's best to call before heading over. Made the phone order and made my way there. As mentioned this was late Sunday afternoon, so there was no problem finding street parking along N. Cane Street. 2MK is in the same building as Sawada Fishing Store on the corner. We made our made way to the window to pay for our order. 2 mix plates, one with kalbi, and a side order of mandoo totaled under a little under $40. Bringing back the food to Mom's house, the plates were heavy and smelled great! The banchan sides were on the small end, but there were a lot of rice and meat! My parents shared a bulgogi & meat jun combo, and I had a kalbi & meat jun combo. The marinated meat in the meat jun was soft & tasty, and the kalbi was meaty with great big flavor! I had enough for leftovers. Very enjoyable, will repeat and recommend!

Yummy kalbi plate and chicken/spicy pork combo

Our first visit to 2 Moms Kitchen. First, let's talk about the weight of these 2 takeout plates -- so heavy. We were excited to get our dinner home. We had the kalbi plate and chicken/spicy pork combo. Wow! So delicious. The spicy pork was the perfect heat for my husband. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

By far the worst dine-in experience I've ever had at any restaurant on the island…read more First off, when I walked in, I asked to dine in and took a seat in one of their booths. I was then told that I needed to order at the counter. At the time, I didn't think anything of it, so I placed my order and went back to my seat. Shortly after, I was told that I needed to pay. I explained again that I was dining in, but the cashier continued to tell me that I had to pay first. Since it was my first time at Dong Yangs, I just assumed that was how they did things. I received their complimentary soup that comes with their dine-in plates. Personally, I wasn't a fan of it. It tasted very salty and didn't have much flavor beyond the salt. It did come with silverware, so I assumed everything else would be provided normally. When my meal came out, however, it wasn't served on a plate. It came in a takeout container. Again, since it was my first time there, I assumed that was just how they served their food. I was told I ordered a regular Meat Jun plate and not a mini, which I was completely fine with. But when I opened the container, the portion looked more like a mini than a regular plate. There was only one layer of Meat Jun over what looked like four scoops of rice. The sides were disappointing, and the service wasn't much better. No water refill, no condiments, and no real check-in from the staff. The atmosphere was also extremely dead, which didn't help the overall experience. The Meat Jun itself was actually pretty good which I wa told is what they are known for, and I'll give them credit for that. But for a regular Meat Jun plate costing close to $20, I expected a much better portion. I received exactly 15 small pieces, and they weren't the traditional strips of Meat Jun I'm used to getting. Instead, they were small squares, roughly 1 inch by 1 inch. Overall, this was easily my worst dining experience on the island. The food had some potential, especially the Meat Jun, but the portion size, sides, service, and overall experience just weren't worth the price. One thing that really stood out to me and I couldn't believe was that the complimentary soup came with actual silverware, while my regular meal was served in a takeout container with a plastic fork. I honestly didn't understand that. Unfortunately, they won't be getting my business again, and I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience.

This spot is located on the corner of Kilani Ave and Cane St. I personally didn't go in as my Husbabe was the one in the area so I asked if he could stop by. This review is solely in regards to the bento food, not the side dishes that offer. Husbabe stated nice friendly younger worker that was there and a few people in line. We decided to go with LOTS of sides and try out the bento since everyone been hyping the food out here. I got the meatjun bento, which came with chap jae, daikon rice and furikake. My Husbabe got the fishjun bento which also came with the same sides. Let's talk about the bento. My honest review because I had really high hopes, but let's be clear before I go on. We are going to go back and try again, maybe earlier in the day as it was in the afternoon already (12ish). Okay so, the meatjun was really mushy, I thought maybe just that one piece I had, literally couldn't taste the meat, everything seemed mushed together. I tried a 2nd piece and samething. I was really sad :(. I really wanted it to be good. The chap jae was good. The bentos are room temp laid out on a table and not under any sort of warmer, so literally a grab and go. My husband said the same about his fishjun :( . The sauce that came with the meatjun was extremely odd, tasted heavy of some sort of soy sauce. We got gyoza and that was okay, the sauce was the same sauce as the meatjun, so I just made my own sauce. Now let's get to the sides. SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOD! My husband got the load of variety (pictured below). We are definitely gonna go back to try the bentos again and I gotta say the sides are so worth it tho and that kimchee, chef's kiss...

When we were done, we're not given a check or check(s). We waited patiently at the register to pay for our meals. Can't stand people peeping in while walking past the entire restaurant. Best to open the door and look inside if there's open seating. Free parking located in the front and back of the restaurant. Smaller location. One restroom available for dine in patrons. Best highlight of the night was catching up in conversations and spending quality time with other moms.

Great food, service and atmosphere, and I'd definitely eat there again!…read more My husband and I went a little after 7pm and there was only 1 party seated outside, and 1 inside so we were seated right away. More groups came in after us, and there was a full staff so I think they must get pretty busy for dinner. We ordered the Spicy Ahi Donburi ($18) and the Hellfire wings ($20). We both grew up eating spicy food and tend to find spicy dishes pretty mild when we eat out, but we were impressed with these items! He was very pleased with his donburi and said that he thinks it was the spiciest ahi he's ever had. The ghost pepper sauce for the Hellfire Wings was a stand out for us, and we got a to-go box for the last wings just to take the sauce home with it. We spent a little more than we usually do, but we were expecting this and looking for a change from our usual spots. Overall, it was a great experience and I hope we'll be back sometime soon.

Our server was ok, just didn't seem like she enjoyed her job that day. And that makes a difference. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, cause that's what we do. I liked the club sandwich. Loved the crispy fries and tots! Really good fried noodles and the teri beef was good too! The cookies and cream brulee was interesting. But the Yuzu cheesecake was laughable! Such a small piece surrounded by large portions of toppings. Jeri: We're all going to share that? Overall, the rest of the food was good. They do have sushi later in the early evening, so maybe next time, we'll come up for that. But I'm not going to use my "5 iron to drive" up here anytime soon.
