Longboards in Ko Olina is the main restaurant my family and I go to when we visit Hawaii at the Marriott. Longboards is pretty generic, as the menu is mainly burgers, fish tacos, poke, fish and chips, fries, etc. They're not gourmet, but it's a good and basic place to grab food if you're staying at the hotel (or any nearby.) It's NOT one of those places where you should go out of your way and valet your car for it, but more just convenient for the area. The service is great as well, though! As most of the people working are happy to help and very nice. The ambiance is also fun, light, can be musical, and even pretty. Longboards is right on the beach and the Marriott has their own man-made part of the beach, which is one of the most gorgeous beaches to exist. It's one of the only options for restaurants for the hotels out here, meaning that you will most likely go here more than once depending on the length of your trip. The drinks are tasty, but a little bit on the pricier side, and the food, like the fish and chips, is crunchy and yummy, but has a good amount of oil and grease that come with it. Not perfect, but a solid choice that I would still recommend if you are staying in the area and want to try a few different dishes from them. Try the poke nachos and a drink next time!

First time here at the Ko Olina in 15 plus years still very beautiful. Though like myself starting to show it's age...This eatery is right on the water with beautiful views and music playing in the background. As far as the food fish n chips were ok at best, drinks took forever to get started with a basic water. It was obvious they are short staffed however the staff was definitely on Hawaiian time. Also the cost for two meals and approximately 6 drinks was $171. Is a bit pricey for pub food. Just saying!

We walked over to Longboards (at the Marriott) from our condo next door. The bartender at our place said they make the best Mai Tais. I will say they were better than his! We also got the poke nachos which were good, the addition of fresh jalapeños would have made them great. This sits right on one of the four lagoons, so has a great view. Mariann was super friendly and attentive, we enjoyed her immensely.

We were staying at the resort and had a credit for this restaurant so we gave them a try... The service was slow and our waiter really didn't check that much on us and the food was very disappointing! I highly doubt we would visit this place again but if we did, we would get something totally different to eat! But other than that, the location was beautiful and perfect while staying at the resort.

Longboards at the Marriott in Oahu absolutely delivered an outstanding dining experience. The poke bowl was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the tempura fish & chips were some of the best I've had--perfectly prepared with a generous portion size that truly impressed. Service was spot on from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Add in the beautiful beachside setting , and it's hard to imagine a better place to relax and enjoy a great meal in Ko Olina Oahu. This not a typical hotel restaurant, much better. I highly recommend Longboards if you're looking for delicious food, great service, and unbeatable island vibes!

Average...nothing really bad, nothing stellar. This is a bar and grill that's on the premises of the Marriott Vacation Club in Ko' Olina. Good location very close to the lagoon. Outdoor seating. Service was slow. They have the basics here. We got buffalo wings and salad. They were again average, I can't really complain. Typical bar/grill food. If you are at the Vacation Club or spending the day at the nearby beach and you're not looking for something homemade or special, this is your place!

Everything here was 10/10. We went on Mother's Day with a party of 13 and they were able to accommodate us with a reasonable wait time! Our server was so funny & kind. The food was so delicious, we left no crumbs! The amazing view, live music and sunset time was so perfect.

Longboards is always my go to once I check in here at the Marriott Ko'Olina. The tuna melt is one of the best that I have ever had!! Especially when you're just relaxing poolside or on the lagoon in front of longboards! We also ordered the double smash burger with garlic truffle fries!! Service is very quick and they even bring it up to you poolside via the mobile order app. Which is only till 5pm I believe. We will be back again as we are here every year!

Food and service are good, but we go for the sunset views. Menu is relatively limited but food quality is above typical beach or bar food. Views of the beach and sunset are gorgeous. Prices are a little high because it is a beach resort.

    Ron V.

The food selection is good but overall it's pricey for what it is. But it does save you the trouble of leaving and driving somewhere else if you're staying at the resort. The service was slow and the food can take a bit longer depending on the time and day. The atmosphere is relaxed and right off from the beach and pool area so you don't have to go too far.

One of the onsite restaurants at the Marriott Ko'olina Beach Club, Longboards is the go-to place for to go orders, pick up, or delivery to any poolside chairs. There's even a qr code in every room that you can use to order for pick up. The workers are incredibly friendly but the food is exactly what you'd expect. Not terrible, not great but very expensive. Offerings include burgers, poke, chicken katsu curry, salads, and a bunch of other typical American food. If you have time, better food can be found elsewhere in Kapolei but when you're caught up enjoying the resort, it's par for the course.

Restaurant at the Marriott Ko Olina. This was 1/2 restaurants on the property and their prices were a little high but the food was pretty good considering limited options in the area. We had a little of everything everyday. We came here often for the week we stayed at the Marriott. Best thing was their chocolate pie. Great for dessert. I also enjoyed the shrimp quesadilla. fish n chips were good, fish tacos for lunch was good too. And nachos weren't too bad. Service wasn't too the worse. and the ambiance was very laid back. It was nice to relax after a long day. Drinks were good. You could get drinks at the bar throughout the day.

    Ask the Community - Longboards

Do they currently offer a happy hour?

Yes; every day, 3-5 pm and 8-9 pm; $3 off draft beer and tropical drinks.

What is included on the breakfast buffet vs the continental breakfast?

There are hot items on the buffet (e.g., eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, bagels, etc)

If we are staying at the resort is this the best option to watch 1 of the NFL games on TV this Saturday? If not what or where would our best bet be? We would hate to miss the game (the game is on NFL Network)

I would watch it from my beautiful room with a fabulous view.

    Is there parking?

This is within the Marriott resort, so there is parking in the Mariott complex. There is also general parking in the Ko'Olina "compound" but those go very fast.

    When is happy hour?

    2 - 6 pm

Can you order food and drinks and eat on the beach instead of the restaurant?

    Yes

    When do they close?

    9pm

The guests are charged for parking while actively patronizing the restaurants and businesses on site even more frustrating. As for the dining experience, monkeypod promotes a local farm to table concept, and the quality of the ingredients seem to support that the food was enjoyable and the Service was outstanding just be prepared for the price tag. Our Bill for seven people was around 500 so while it was good a good meal it certainly wasn't inexpensive. Overall, I recommend the monkey pod for atmosphere service and quality food. I never have done the character breakfast so this review is purely for their dinner experience. I kinda wish though that they change up the menu more as I recall the menu not changing much each time we visit. The dinner menu is a set 3 course meal where you have to pick an appetizer, main entree, and dessert. The kids have a set 3 course meal to choose from as well. This time I ordered their ahi tuna special, which so happened to be the special over 2 years ago lol! I chose their corn chowder as my appetizer and honestly after the cheesy bread rolls and soup, I was pretty stuffed by the time my entree came. It was still a lot of food, and I only took like 3 bites before o threw in the towel. As for the dessert, I chose the dulce de leche cheesecake, which deviates from the usual Mickey brownie with ice cream that I ordered. I still prefer the brownie now that I've tried both. Ambiance is nice and I actually prefer the outdoor seating because I find the architecture and landscape of the resort so beautiful. Overall a solid Disney dining experience, with large portions all around. Definitely worth trying at least once especially if you're staying at the resort!
