From the public Lagoon 4 this is the closest restaurant. I had low expectations but the food was very good and we had great service. Friendly and fast. Our server did great. If course excellent views doesn't hurt. I would gladly return on our next trip to Oahu. read more

Longboards in Ko Olina is the main restaurant my family and I go to when we visit Hawaii at the Marriott. Longboards is pretty generic, as the menu is mainly burgers, fish tacos, poke, fish and chips, fries, etc. They're not gourmet, but it's a good and basic place to grab food if you're staying at the hotel (or any nearby.) It's NOT one of those places where you should go out of your way and valet your car for it, but more just convenient for the area. The service is great as well, though! As most of the people working are happy to help and very nice. The ambiance is also fun, light, can be musical, and even pretty. Longboards is right on the beach and the Marriott has their own man-made part of the beach, which is one of the most gorgeous beaches to exist. It's one of the only options for restaurants for the hotels out here, meaning that you will most likely go here more than once depending on the length of your trip. The drinks are tasty, but a little bit on the pricier side, and the food, like the fish and chips, is crunchy and yummy, but has a good amount of oil and grease that come with it. Not perfect, but a solid choice that I would still recommend if you are staying in the area and want to try a few different dishes from them. Try the poke nachos and a drink next time! read more

We walked over to Longboards (at the Marriott) from our condo next door. The bartender at our place said they make the best Mai Tais. I will say they were better than his! We also got the poke nachos which were good, the addition of fresh jalapeños would have made them great. This sits right on one of the four lagoons, so has a great view. The poke bowl was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the tempura fish & chips were some of the best I've had--perfectly prepared with a generous portion size that truly impressed. Longboards is always my go to once I check in here at the Marriott Ko'Olina. The tuna melt is one of the best that I have ever had!! Especially when you're just relaxing poolside or on the lagoon in front of longboards! We also ordered the double smash burger with garlic truffle fries!! Service is very quick and they even bring it up to you poolside via the mobile order app. Which is only till 5pm I believe. We will be back again as we are here every year! read more

One of the onsite restaurants at the Marriott Ko'olina Beach Club, Longboards is the go-to place for to go orders, pick up, or delivery to any poolside chairs. There's even a qr code in every room that you can use to order for pick up. The workers are incredibly friendly but the food is exactly what you'd expect. Not terrible, not great but very expensive. Offerings include burgers, poke, chicken katsu curry, salads, and a bunch of other typical American food. If you have time, better food can be found elsewhere in Kapolei but when you're caught up enjoying the resort, it's par for the course. read more

Whenever we stay at the Marriott Beach Club in Ko Olina, we visit Longboards several times during the week. Longboards is a poolside restaurant with fantastic views of the lagoon and ocean. Longboards has several food/drink options with TVs above the bar. On our most recent visit, happy hour was from 4pm to 5pm, with live music starting around 5pm. We heard the live music each night, and it was fantastic. Regarding the food, usually opt for the Won Ton Ahi Nachos and split a cheeseburger. The nachos are really good, but for the price, you might expect a larger serving of tuna. The cheeseburgers are good too. We also enjoy the great service. Each of our servers were very friendly, and we rarely had to wait more than five minutes to be seated. Longboards is one of the better casual onsite hotel restaurants we have experienced. read more

I think the overall cost of the menu is knowing the convenience, so be prepared for that. There are some nice outdoor seating options where you can view sunset. There is no reservation, walk ins only. We didn't wait too long. If you have time and prefer local dinning options, I would recommend driving somewhere else. While the food here isn't all that great, you're paying for the ambience and convenience. The hotel knows it, and if you do as well, it's hard to be disappointed. The good: - Service is fantastic. For what it's worth, the service alone brings my individual rating from 2 to 3 stars. - Whether you take the food to the beach just steps away, or sit on the outdoor patio, the ambience is terrific. - The food comes out pretty hot and fresh - The fries are crisp and plentiful The less than good: - Pricing. Definitely the downside compared to what you get in taste/quality. $25 for a burger and fries?! Priced higher than you'd expect until you realize it's one of the "safe" items that they know people want...and probably price accordingly. Add that with the convenience and ambience "fee" and you have one of the most expensive yet unremarkable tasting burgers I've tasted. - Fish tacos while plentiful (you get 4), were disappointing. The mahi was way dry and overcooked. The sauce and "salsa" were less than impressive. - The poke nachos were acceptable perhaps for the mainland with decent wonton chips, but with poke being as plentiful and fresh as it is on the island, I'd have expected a little better. Overall, if you're staying at the resort, it's probably your best (and only) convenient pool/beach/resort food option within quick distance. However, I'd probably opt for a local take out food option for that beach/poolside family meal in the future - even if it means an extra trip out of the resort. read more

For a tourist trap at a a Marriott resort, this spot is actually great! We've had consistently good food here over the years and the sunset view is hard to beat. To me vacation means a blended drink. We love the standard piña colada but ask to add a dark rum float to make it next level! If you're not a drinker, they've also got non alcoholic versions of the tropical cocktails or some smoothie options. I was a little disappointed that the smoothies are just boxed mix and not actually fresh fruit, but what am I expecting from a hotel bar? :) The pork nachos will blow your mind. It's a huge portion. Ask for no jalapeños if you don't want it spicy. I also have to give a shout out to the kitchen because I got these nachos to-go last night, and they separated the chips from all the toppings so it wouldn't get all soggy! You guys rock! Longboards at The Marriot's Ko'Olina Beach Club is a great little lunch or dinner spot right off the beach with an ocean view. If you eat there for dinner, you can also catch the sunset. The service is great, quick and kind. I ordered the fish tacos and they are so big and absolutely delicious! Their Mai tais are also a definite must while dining here. After you're finished with lunch or dinner, you can head down to the lagoon for a little dip. Marriot will also valet your car and validate your parking if you bring a dining receipt. If you'd rather not valet, there are free parking spots at the lagoons, although they do fill up quickly. read more

We visited Longboard because it is a beautiful place to watch the sunset Oahu style. The receptionist, server and the car valet were all lovely people. The resort is spotless. The ambience is tropical. We were looking for something that was a taste of the mainland. A Classic American cheeseburger and fries filled that need. My husband had fish and chips. Came with julienned veggies and rice. My husband chose the ribs and they were fall off the bone delicious. Had wings (dry) for appetizer and the yummy chili tai sauce to dip them in that was delicious also. The views at sunset are perfect and on Tuesdays you can hear music from the luau. Otherwise they have live music. Our negatives were that we used to eat here 2-3 x's per stay at the Marriott (owners there) but just don't anymore. Drinks are so expensive and come in plastic. Ended up with iced tea last night. It was good. I think tropical. Accross the street they have fancy Mai tai's for similar prices. Seems like every day the drink specials included tequila. Used to have more traditional "Hawaiian" drinks. Also, the wines are less than desired if choices. Would like more options and better options on wines. They also used to have better nightly specials. Great early lunch today at Longboards. Several fish sandwiches, a salad or two, a couple of Beef Stew, chicken strips, coconut shrimp, and a quesadilla entree. Great view of the bracket lagoon while dining and all the food was great, especially the ahi fish sandwiches.
