We were staying across the street at Aulani and I had been dying to try this place since I saw the menu had rainbow pancakes. We actually walked in the rain determined to try it. We waited about 20 minutes for the three of us but the line was extremely long once we left. Arrive early or get takeout to avoid the wait! My 3 year old loves pancakes and I love trying new places and it did not disappoint!! My toddler ate almost her whole plate! It came with an egg choice, bacon, and a pancake. There was a little bit of egg leftover but she LOVED it! I got the egg n things scrambler with bacon and the rainbow pancakes and the whipped cream with macadamia nuts was so good and the fruit was very fresh!!! Will come back next visit! read more

Just across the street from the Resorts and only open early in the day it's a solid option for breakfast or lunch away from the resort. Friendly service and besides tasty food they have a few retail items like bagged coffee and cookies available at the register. It is a super busy place so make sure to join the waitlist online before arriving to shorten your wait in person. It is a great spot for some comfort food for you or your kids on your visit. We had breakfast this morning at Eggs 'n Things. It's a restaurant chain in Hawaii that has a variety of menu items for breakfast and brunch. Crab Cake Benedict w/ potatoes: English muffins, crab cakes, diced potatoes turned out well. Unfortunately, two eggs appeared to be six minutes poached medium. Both lacked runny yolks of a true benedict. I didn't take back my meal due to limited time. First server did not disclose or offer how I would like my eggs. I inquired because the printed receipt showed eggs med poach. I didn't make any requests. Second server said eggs benedict are automatically poached medium unless the customer informs or makes a special request, the only thing we (E&T) cannot do is boil the eggs. Everything on the menu is great. We ate here multiple times. We did get the macadamia nut pancakes. They offered us coconut syrup, which was not on the table. It was amazing. We liked Eggs 'n Things so much we came here twice in one week. The food was both classic and definitely Hawaiian. Just a place with great creativity and taste. It can get busy both in the parking lot and waiting for a table. You can use Yelp to hold a spot when its busy. Aulani for the most part is overpriced and not as good, but this is a great place for breakfast or brunch so don't miss it! FOOD: We've seen this place in the past when we came to visit so we thought we'd finally try it. The first time I had the portuguese sausage and eggs with rice (not pictured) and the pineapple pancakes. The sausage and eggs were great! The pancakes were undercooked for me and a little too sweet but I'm sure many people will love it. Had the loco moco next time and it was superb. I love a classic dish with just enough spin to make it even more tasty. The eggs benedict my wife had was good also as was the fried rice she had the first time around. SERVICE: Overall good. Not exceptional, but they were always on top of things and the portion sizes were just right. Definitely looked good too. COST: Reasonable, especially for a resort area. What a breakfast! The two of us could have shared one meal. In unusual style, we both ordered the same. The bacon and spinach omelette with pancakes came and we were surprised at the portion size. The omelette filled the plate and the side of pancakes was 3 short-stacked. It was a DELICIOUS start to the day and enough food to keep me satisfied until dinner time. Servers were all friendly. I've been bringing my Aunt to Eggs 'n Things for over the last 7-years+ now; we started at the Ala Moana location for the first couple of years and have been coming to the Ko 'Olina location ever since! We mainly changed locations because of the previous manager of the Ala Moana location (Keala) and some of her staff (Ryan) moved to the Ko 'Olina location. We not only built such a nice rapport with them but their service culture is second to none! Keala and Ryan provide consistent and excellent service to all their customers! Their food is always amazing! I normally order the ribeye steak and eggs with the salt & pepper rub, eggs scrambled soft, rice and a side order of three mac nut pancakes and my Aunt normally orders the lemon crepes BUT we completely changed our orders for this visit! I ordered the Kalbi 'n Eggs with rice and a side of plain French toast and my Aunt ordered their Special of the day Crepes, the banana cheesecake sauce; both of these dishes were phenomenal! Eggs 'n Things Ko 'Olina will continue to be our go to restaurant on the Westside of Oahu, they certainly deserve my personal 5-Shake ! read more

Went here with my son and my partner. We sat outside so can't say much about the ambiance other than it's a normal kind of upscale diner. I ordered the scramble n things with ham and they both ordered the wrap (one with ham and one with spam). Food was basic. Good overall. However the boys' wraps were busted so they couldn't even pick them up. If I'm going to pay $20 for a breakfast burrito, a 3% 'kitchen appreciation' fee, have to pay for parking, plus get charged a credit card fee on the bill then I expect the food to be exceptional without error. The server was absolutely horrendous as well. I had to ask her for a glass of water 3 times and she never once refilled my coffee. She had a sour attitude from the time we sat down. I understand server's are people too but if you work in customer service you should really try to check that at the door. My partner left his bag there and when we came back the man seating people just mean mugged him and held his bag away from his like it was a task that was beneath him to hand it over. We did nothing to these people to be treated with the utmost least Aloha experience we've had so far. We come to Oahu for 3 weeks out of the year and this is the third year in a row that we've been to Eggs'n Things and sadly I don't think we will return. read more

I ordered the kalbi and eggs, upgraded rice to fried rice with Portuguese sausage. It hit the spot. Kalbi is solid, sunny side eggs with runny yolk (make sure to put some salt and pepper on it). They even gave a side of kimchi which was great with fried rice. The fried rice had just the right texture, with yummy Portuguese sausage. Highly suggest avoiding eating outside if you're not a fan of birds hovering around the area, like a bunch of vultures. We walked over from Aulani for a nice quick, and delightful breakfast. We joined the waitlist when we arrived but later learned that we could have joined via the Yelp app before arriving which would have decreased our wait time. While we waited for our table we had ample seating in front of Eggs 'n Things and the next door bagel shop. Parking was plentiful early in the morning but began to fill as we left. We were initially offered seating outside but after walking over we wanted to enjoy inside air conditioned seating and were alternatively offered seating at the bar. Our entrees were great, and came out quick. While sitting at the bar we were shocked to see a large portion of their drinks (tea, POG, orange juice) appear to be premade and come out of jugs. Went to Eggs and Things again and got my "goto" breakfast, the Jalapeño Fried Rice. I just joked with the waitress when she asked if I needed anything else and I said jalapeños. She actually brought me a bowl of chopped jalapeños. Me happy. Needless to say the staff is great, friendly and attentive. Call ahead and get on the wait list. Paid by card. Eggs n Things is located in a plaza and offers very limited parking. I went on a weekday with my family and didn't have to wait to be seated, even though the place was pretty busy. I found the font on the menus really hard to read, especially on the TV screens when the pages kept changing. Eventually I just chose the Portuguese sausage with rice and eggs, keiki plate, and got pancakes for other family members. Overall the food was ok but very pricey. This place is highly recommended by a local and this is conveniently located across the Aulani Resort and it is also walkable distance from the other hotels in that area. We were told that it gets really popular so we decided to go a little bit after it opened and we were lucky enough to get a seat. My husband and I always like to try something savory and also sweet so at this time we decided to get the Aji plate with fried rice and we also ordered a side of their potato medley. We also decided to get the crêpe special, which was with pineapple and cheesecake filling. Our server was friendly and quick, and the food came out pretty quickly. I personally really liked the crêpe as it was fresh and also a generous portion and just so soft. I also think that the Ahi steak was really good. We got a medium rare as it can be eaten rare. The fried rice is not bad, but I've had better on the island so next time I think I'll just go with white rice. We had more than plenty to take home and we enjoyed our dishes! Easy parking, Amazing service by aunty outside. They have beer, mimosa and other cocktails and it opens up right at 8am for the early birds. Nutella mochi waffle was delicious! I had a well done spinach, cheddar and bacon omelette, with a side of that Portuguese sausage was wolfed down. What makes this place great, is the ability to be a small or a big party, local or not, and be treated with love.
