This is a cute cafe with high ceilings and outdoor seating. My bookclub meets here once a month for meetings and we live the food options and the drink choices. Something that our group religiously gets is the garlic fries, ta always ordered by at least one person. Because they have high ceilings, sound travels very fast even if there are only a few people. Their food/drink menu is not vast but it is very fitting for a cafe. They have unique flavors and if you are into creme brulee, they have multiple food and drink options that you can choose from. The service workers are always kind and helpful when you have questions or need suggestions. They also bring you the food when it's ready with help of a number/card stand. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Kapolei

I love macarons. But I don't always have macaron money to spend. So I was excited to see a bag of "misfits" macarons on display for a discounted price. Altough you can't see inside the container, the cashier helpfully explained that they were a random assortment of cracked macarons. The "misfit" macarons were full sized, slightly damaged and definitely worth the price! We also got the Teri Burger Double and BBQ Brisket Banh Mi to share. The workers even cut the burger in half for us. A bit expensive but super juicy and delicious! There is lots of breezy outdoor seating in the patio in front of the restaurant. I suggest ordering online prior to arriving so you don't have to wait for your food!

Another Day, another smash burger from La Tour Cafe. No words are needed to describe how truly delicious this burger is. If you haven't tried this burger then please do yourself a favor and experience it for yourself. Quick lunch grab after a short work this morning and put my friend onto this burger as it was his first time. Thank you to the workers who work fast and are diligent. The neat packaging speaks for itself! Enjoy!

Stopped by La Tour in Kapolei for a quick lunch. The place wasn't too busy and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered at the counter and they brought our got our food to our table in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the Gee's chicken salad and a tiramisu iced latte. The salad was super fresh and came with this light, flavorful kizami shoga vinaigrette. It had a pretty pink hue and a nice gingery tang. Loved the crunch from the sunflower seeds and lotus root! The chicken breast was warm, maybe a little on the dry side, but it soaked up the dressing really well. The tiramisu latte was delightful, sweet but not overly sugary. Would order this again!

This is not an inexpensive lunch, but the quality is absolutely worth the price tag. The worst part is trying to decide what to get, because there are so many options and everything sounds great. I ended up doing the Wagyu "Pho"ggie and it was SO GOOD. The meat was as tender as you would expect, and the Pho mayo packed every bit of the Pho flavor I was hoping for. The baguettes were equally the star of the show, but well balanced with the sandwich filling. We also tried a couple of macarons, which were delightful. The filling was so creamy, the cookie perfectly chewy. My son got the mac and cheese which was SO cheesy and flavorful, and my in laws got the Brisket and Braised Pork Banh Mis and they loved both! There is a great covered outdoor patio to eat on, and even on a weekend it wasn't too crowded. Plenty of parking in the surrounding lots once you make your way through the traffic of the busy shopping center.

Kapolei is always a trek but it's nice they have this cafe. We were super hungry and there were so many choices out in the area. However, the colorful macaroons won us over. Staff were very patient and nice explaining varying menu items suitable for kids. Sad there's no more flatbread pizza! Plenty of seating inside and outside. Food brought out by number. Wait wasn't long. Interior was clean and bright. Salad was fresh with tender juicy chicken. Turkey sandwich warm and crunchy. Mac and cheese with melty creaminess. Macaroons offered a variety of color and flavoring offerings. So good! Definitely a pleasant lunch experience and will return!

The Panini was actually a ham sandwich on burnt sourdough toast..! :--(

It's been a while since I last went to Kapolei's La Tour Cafe. It's survived for many years while other restaurants come and go at Kapolei Commons. La Tour is famous for their Macaroons and Panini sandwiches. However, I always ordered a thin-crust Margarita Pizza. I was craving one Saturday night so the wife and I went to get one. Surprise surprise... La Tour has permanently removed all pizza from their menu, as of late last year. So disappointed... it was the only menu item that attracted me to La Tour. Needless to say, there are other Kapolei restaurants that can satisfy my pizza itch, so bye bye La Tour Cafe.

Tiramisu coffee! If you're a creamer with my coffee and NOT a coffee with my creamer person. (Iykyk) YOU WILL LOVE THIS.

Service is always amazing. Ambience is good, it's a little quiet for my liking but it's clean, and they have outdoor seating with shade which is soooo nice. Pricey. Worth it? Sometimes. What do I mean by sometimes? Coffee is 8/10, unique specialty coffee. Like ? Well, creme brûlée coffee, chocolate macadamia nut coffee and the one that I had today . Tiramisu coffee!! Creme brûlée pastry 10/10. Please click on photos for more in depth on each item

I had no idea there was a La Tour in Kapolei, so as a big fan of the café, I had to give it a try. The food quality and atmosphere were what I've come to expect from La Tour--reliable and satisfying. But I have to admit, I was a little disappointed by the macaron selection. None of my favorite flavors were available, and honestly, that's one of the main things I look forward to when I visit La Tour! The dining area is laid-back and a modern, clean place to relax, meet up, or just enjoy your food. The service was fast and the workers were nice. The food? Maybe not life-changing, but definitely hits the mark in terms of flavor, portion sizes, and price--something that's always appreciated in Hawaii. This review is short and to the point but that's because I've only been here once, and only tried their food but not any drinks; again, still disappointed about the lack of flavors for the macarons this day! But the freezer looked small so I don't know if it could handle more. Other than the macarons, it's good to know that this La Tour is the same as the La Tour across the island on Nimitz.

Got an iced tiramisu latte. It's really milky and can't really taste the espresso or tiramisu taste. Loved the vibes and service but definitely don't recommend the coffee.

Sandwiches totally hit the spot! Salad dressing is pretty tart but mesh well with the flavors of the sandwiches. A must is a bowl of creamy cheesy mac n cheese! The pho bahn mi sandwich is unique and delicious. I love that I get to make my own drinks at the machine as I can get creative. Employees are friendly and helpful. Storefront is often kept clean.

    Pastrami sandwich

A small but very nice place to enjoy a meal with friends. We had lilikoi tea and lilikoi lemonade. Very refreshing and delicious. Enjoyed a pastrami sandwich with salad and fries. Next time I would like to try a Chinese chicken salad or crispy shrimp. The food is delicious. Service was also good. Clean and comfortable.

Friendly ladies good attitude at the register and during ordering. They have inside and outside table. I ordered the burger and grilled cheese. Both good choices . I would recommend for others to try this place out.

Ask the Community - La Tour Cafe

Do you still do catering options for the sandwiches? I can only see ala carte options online.

Just call them for catering availabilities and pricing

Are you open for dining in?

Dining was outdoors during my visit on 4/3.. Order inside and they brought the food to you outside. Tables were spaced.

Does anyone know if they sell flatbread or lavash?

    Yes, they sell both

What happened to the pizzas!!? I heard through the grapevine that the pizzas took too long to cook in comparison to the other menu items. Bring the pizzas back La Tour.

Their pizza's are available between 3pm-8pm

Would this be a good place to study/do work? Not really any cafes on west side besides starbucks that are open later than 5.

Small place and usually packed during meal times...might be too busy/noisy.

I came across this even on Facebook and Yelp. The list of local vendos piqued interest as I thought…read moreit was a perfect event to get my feet wet with local foods (I moved here 2 weeks ago). It was also conveniently located within 2 miles of the hotel I was staying at. The vendors were arranged in a circular formation with an open field in the middle. This made it easy to move from one vendor to another. The event was reminiscent of a "food fair" held annually in the Caribbean in which local vendors sell locally made foods and handmade products. There was good music, ample parking, a variety of food/drinks/dessert vendors to choose from, and inflatable bumper balls (I think this wasn't an ideal event for these balls because unless you went with a group of people, it would be awkward bouncing strangers). The timeframe for the event was perfect. The sun was setting so it was not unbearably hot. There were benches for if you wanted to sit and eat or plenty of open space in the middle of the vendors for those who brought blankets and lawn chairs. The police had a small presence at the event, which provided a sense of security and they blocked off some roads leading directly to the event, which made it safe to walk about.

The Eat The Street event occupied the entire football field so space was no problem. I've been out…read moreof school for more than a couple of decades now so I've forgotten what it was like walking across a football field. All the huge spotlights cast multiple shadows from you so at one point, I was walking with a freshly bought pot pie from Sweet Revenge and I actually thought someone was following me. I quickly turned guarding my pot pie to only realize it was my own shadow...sigh, I'm such an idiot sometimes. Anyway, this was my first ETS event so was very eager to see all the different foods to try. The line of trucks, with their generators rumbling and owners/workers calling you over to try samples seemed endless. It was actually a bit overwhelming. The 3 of us walked around the entire field 3 times before we each finally decided what we were going to eat. I got a Smoked rib plate from Tin Hut BBQ ($12.00.) The plate comes with 2 sides (I got a double helping of green salad.) The ribs were fall of the bone tender and had a nice grilled flavor, although I didn't get a strong smoky taste. The salad was fairly plain; it was like the type you'd get in a large bag of tossed greens at Costco. The greens were fresh though and they offered 3 different dressings that you served yourself. The favorite thing about Tin Hut is that they have squeeze bottles of BBQ sauce out for customers to use. They had 2 different sauces: one was an apple/chipotle and the other was unmarked. Both were delicious. I'm a saucy kinda guy so I thought that was pure awesomeness. Sorry, I don't remember the names of the trucks that my other two friends visited One of them got a deep fried, shrimp stuffed avocado and a mixed plate of ribs and shrimp. It looked really good and she confirmed that it was "Da Bomb". My other friend went to a thai food truck and had stuffed chicken wings and satay chicken sticks. He said the wings were really good but the chicken sticks were horribly dry. We were all still a bit hungry so decided to split a pot pie from Sweet Revenge. We got the pork guisantes pie and it was fantastic. The top crust was just so buttery and flaky. My only gripe is it's pricey for its size ($7.00). I really wanted to try out more trucks but was pretty stuffed by then. If you come to an Eat The Street event in the future, I'd recommend coming really hungry. ***Oh...and a little side bonus was that I got to meet Yelp! Elite Pualani P and future Elite Darren S. They were manning the Yelp! tent and were both really cool.
