Brought the kids to experience Spanish bread for the first time, and they killed the dozen box before we even got home. Yummy! 2) Sweet rolls: my son selected this pastry because he's in the mood for bread. He commented,"It tastes like sweet bread, not super sweet, filling is plain." That's some humongous size! 3) 2 dozen Spanish rolls: the top selling item, buttery with crumbs, that can withstand the humidity, was gone in a few hours consumed by kids, tweens, and other adults at Ko 'Olina Lagoon. Kindly inquire and order Spanish rolls. They are made fresh in the back so don't freak out if you don't see any in glass case display late morning and early lunch. The only thing I regret is not ordering enough Biko! I fell in love with it, super delicious, perfectly sweet, and sticky in the best way. Definitely the highlight of my order! I also tried the pineapple puto, which was a little too tart for my taste, but the banana bread was really good. I got Siopao for my partner, and he enjoyed it too. When we got there, there was one party ahead of us. Shortly after, people were waiting out the door. It was so hard to choose but we got the ube pianomo, baked mini manapua, tuna roll, hot dog roll, arabiki roll and half dozen spanish roll. The lady that took our order was friendly and inside was clean and organized. Ube pianomo lacked sweetness. I wish I chose something else. I was looking for the guava pianomo but they didn't have that. I should've gotten the mango pianomo. The mini manapua were not good. And there is no restroom on site. Service is great, and the workers are very efficient. Personally, I only go for their Traditional Spanish Bread and Balintawak. We were in the area and I tried to find Nanding's bakery by using Google Maps. It misdirected us. I used Google Maps to find West Commercial Plaza instead. I wanted to pick up the local favorite, summer rolls. After finding Nanding's, I entered the small local bakery. I ordered a half dozen summer rolls, two custard pie slices that were in a preset container on the counter and an Ensemada. Although tasty and freshly made, the rolls and Ensemada were very oily. 3 out of 5 stars. I paid an extra 75 cents for a bag but the oil/butter bled right through the bags. The custard pie slices were good. 3 out of 5 stars. The service was good, however English was not my cashier's first language. Very sweet and nice ladies worked the counter. 3 out of 5 stars. The bakery has a wide selection of pastries, lots of choices both savory and sweet choices. . I bought an Ube pastry for my wife and I got one savory pastry and a sweet pastry for me. I picked a chocolate pastry and a bun with Portuguese sausage. The Ube filling was good and the bun was fluffy and chewy. The Portuguese Bun had a slice of sausage versus sausage in a soft chewy bun. I was dragged in and when I attempted to pick something out I was told "no, that's not what we are here for" but what we were there for wasn't in the display case! We ordered some Spanish bread and if you are a bread lover, it's everything one loves about bread - hot, buttery, delicious! This was just a small treat and it had me asking "you gonna eat that?" as I could have eaten the whole bag by myself.
