The shop was so personable, the cook came out and saw who I was so they could hand off my food when it was ready!! This is over the top service and I am so grateful for the extra mile. There were plenty of spots to sit and eat, I saw some people with their laptop out and books. I would love to sit here and sip the best coffee, but alas, I have a cute little daughter who was waiting for her açaí bowl back at our hotel. I would 100% be coming back and recommending it to my friends.

It was a wonderfully sunny day with a cool breeze! I sat at a picnic table with bench that had a great view of the customers and the great service by Wes. Wes is very friendly and thoughtful. He would make each order by himself and deliver to vehicles parked on the other side of the road. I ordered the Pono Bowl and substituted banana for kiwi - no extra charge. Wes offered to top it for free with Nutella or Condensed milk if I was an Instagram follower... yes, I am! Nutella, please! The strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi were sweet and fresh! My Bowl was beautiful and filling! The honey and Nutella were perfect compliments to the granola! I'll be back!

As we were…read morerenting kayaks and other gear, I got the impression that this surf shop is mainly used by locals who have a truck or vehicle to transport the rented gear where they want. We had over estimated our ability to walk the heavy kayak down to the beach and the owner was very kind to assist us by loading it in his vehicle, while at the beach he introduced us to the life guard because he was concerned as there were strong winds/currents that day, and he also came to check in on us and helped drive the kayak back. We were super grateful for the effort he put in because it truly was exceptional. The boogie boards and snorkel gear were good quality and easy to carry if you're going to a local beach. If you do want to rent the kayaks, just make sure you have the transportation figured out. When we returned we also had some shaved ice which was some of the best we had during this trip. Very refreshing!
