@fortunefoodfinds: "You're my FLAVORite! Kids got Chocolate Haupia n' I came for the Hapa Matcha + Strawberry Guava from SAGE CREAMERY. When it comes to innovative n' locally made delicious ice cream, this place definitely reigns supreme!" SERVICE: fully staffed INTERIOR: small. Merchandise, drinks, sweet treats, n' pints available for purchase. EXTERIOR: limited table with umbrella seating WAIT TIME: under 5 mins PARKING: neighboring streets or "guest" stalls behind the store (more than 16 available) OVERALL COMMENTS: was in the area so we had to stop by! Specifically came for the hapa matcha bc it was back on the menu. Creamy, flavorful, n' true to its name, yuMmmz! Another favorite is their Thai tea Oreo, which we were hoping was on the menu. The kids ofc had to have chocolate n' the strawberry guava was fruity n' refreshing. Their iced mint mojito coffee reminds me of Philz back in the Bay, so it's nice when we do order it. Always look forward to what ice cream flavors they come out with or bring back!

Decided to come here and there wasn't much street parking, so I parked in the guest parking in the townhome area. Luckily it was allowed! There were 3 workers and the line was moving quickly. Unfortunately they were out of the hapa matcha, which was the one I really wanted to try, but there were many other flavors that I wanted to try as well. I got the mangos sticky rice and it was super yummy! Coconut flavor with sweet mango puree. Sooo ono! I'll definitely be back to try more flavors next time. And I will buy a pre-packed pint too! I regret not buying one. Parking: Street stalls or the guest stalls in the townhome area

We live in the area and been here a bunch of times, love to end the night with a sweet treat...especially from Sage!!! Every single ice cream flavor and matcha my family and I have tried were simply wow, so so delicious!!! So worth the calories!! The service is always great, everyone's so bubbly and nice! Today's visit had us waiting almost out the door! Love the numerous and random quotes they have throughout the shop! It's one of the coolest ice cream shops in town! The decor they have is so fitting and relatable!

My sister mentioned this ice cream spot recently opened near her house, and when I looked at the flavors, I definitely wanted to check it out. We stopped by at around 2:30 on a Saturday. I tried the mango sticky rice and Laie snow cream, and also ordered a mint mojito iced coffee. The mango sticky rice was just okay but I really liked the snow cream. The mint mojito coffee was great too (reminded me of Philz coffee) but could have used way less ice in it. We ended up coming back the next day to try some more flavors - ube crinkle cookie, and Thai tea oreo. Both of these were really good. If you're looking for unique/Asian-inspired flavors, Sage Creamery is where it's at!

The people working here were really nice and patient as we decided what we wanted. I decided to get 2-scoops: cookies and cream and coffee Oreo, and my husband got 2-scoops: cookies and cream and chocolate haupia. Although the icecream was really delicious, my favorite flavor was the chocolate haupia followed closely by the coffee Oreo. The icecream was not overly sweet and tasted exactly like you'd expect. I'll definitely come back to try the other flavors and coffees offered.

This is a great ice cream shop for our community in Kapolei/Ewa Beach. The shop is located in between the Hoopili and Uh West Oahu Skyline stops so easy access! The shop itself is very small, but the staff and super friendly! You can choose between ice cream, coffee, and a few other baked goods from the menu. I visited twice this month and both times the ice cream was so good! Their flavors change every so often, but so far it's been such yummy creations! I recommend stopping by and enjoying some great ice cream!

Oh my goodness! The Ube cookie ice cream was DELICIOUS! The perfect consistency and flavorful. We went in on a Friday night and of course, as expected, busy, but the service was fast! Everyone was so nice. Thank you again for making our experience great! It's always tough going places when one of your littles has a tree nut allergy. I informed them and they used a new clean scoop to ensure that there was no cross contamination! Awesome crew! I will be returning!

Service here is great. Server offered to explain about any flavors we had questions about, and cheerfully explained about the ones we asked. Service was so prompt (we were the only people in line, that our cream was ready before we paid and finished chatting), and we were also asked if we wanted to start a rewards account. Since our daughter usually brings us our Sage fix (she lives right behind) I asked if I could just put the purchase on her rewards account. She cheerfully accommodated the request, so I gave my daughter's phone number. (Few minutes later my daughter texted me to say "enjoy my Sage ice cream" so I guess she got a text notification? Hubby got Lemon Crunch (he likes this flavor - has gotten it before) and I got the mango sticky rice. His has such a nice light flavor, and mine was coconutty (is this a real word?) ice cream with mango syrup drizzled over the top - so good! No sticky rice (I was forewarned) but it didn't matter, it all came together and was very reminiscent of mango sticky rice. I would definitely get it again! We have enjoyed many of the flavors over the past year and have really liked almost all of them enough to want to eat them again. They have regular flavors and monthly specials so it's always fun to check out the flavors. It's such a cute little shop and the owner was there talking story with someone and thanked us for coming in. Love the eco friendly cup and Sage spoon, too.

While we were visiting O'ahu we did some research on Yelp and found this fun ice cream spot in a new housing development. We found street parking and walked over. The store is small, but they have some seating outside if you'd like to enjoy your ice cream right away. Thay had pints and drinks available in the cold case as well as scoops, coffee and keiki milk. We opted for a scoop of their lilikoi honey ice cream ($6) and took it outside to eat. It was a nice treat, I liked the flavor combination but wished the passionfruit flavor was a bit stronger. This is definitely of a lighter cream forward flavor versus fruit forward. I'd love to stop in again to try some of their drinks and other monthly flavors.

Sage Creamery is so good! You can tell everything here is made with real, high-quality ingredients -- the flavors taste fresh, not artificial or overly sweet. I love that they use local ingredients and rotate seasonal flavors, so there's always something new to try. I got the Laie Snow and it was amazing -- super creamy, light, and had this perfect balance of sweetness with a local twist. My friend got the Ube Coconut and I totally stole a few bites -- also a winner. The staff are really friendly and patient (even when the line's long and everyone's trying to decide!). The shop itself is cute, clean, and has that cozy local vibe. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and portions are generous -- you can tell they care more about serving great ice cream than cutting corners. Definitely worth the trip whether you're craving dessert after dinner or just need a little treat on a hot day.

A far drive but worth every minute! I've had Sage Creamery on my "Want to Go" list for a longg time! Such a cute ice cream shop! Love that they also sell local goodies from other small businesses! The service staff were all super friendly! I wish they had seating inside (to sit in the AC) but, they have plenty of seats outside! I'm always excited to see their new flavors because I want to try every single one! This trip we tried Ube Crinkle Cookie, Banana Lumpia, Mango Sticky Rice and Chocolate Haupia! Every flavor was on point- as if it was a full dessert in every bite! Flavors of our cultures!! 10 stars for me!

Finally had a chance to go Sage Creamery and it was totally worth the drive!! ***What I tried ~ **Kūlolo Ice Cream (10/10) ~ I've never tried Kūlolo before and trying it in ice cream form was delicious. It was so addicting to eat. It wasn't overly sweet and it was perfectly creamy, loved it. **Iced Matcha Latte with Vanilla Syrup (10/10) ~ Sage has to be my new favorite matcha place. The matcha isn't being drowned in syrup. You get a nice balance of bitter, sweet, and creamy (from the milk). The vanilla is a nice touch to the latte! It wasn't overly sweet. Overall, I'm coming back to try their rotating ice cream flavors and matcha. This IS TOTALLY WORTH THE DRIVE FOR TOWN PEOPLE. TRUST MEEE.

    Adobo flavor
    Jordan P.

Sage's October selections had banana lumpia, chocolate happiness, thai tea ore, and salted peanut butter cup. One of the unique flavors they had was adobo. I went in with equal parts curiosity and skepticism, and I left completely blown away. The first taste is a genuine surprise. A bold, aromatic wave of black peppercorn is the most prominent flavor. As you go deeper into the scoop, that initial spice mellows and a rich, savory umami from shoyu. As the ice cream melts on your tongue, a final, distinct note of vinegar appears. It was a truly unique experience from start to finish.

First, this spot is located on the corner of Ho'omohala and Nana Hope street near the Ho'opili community. Btw, this area blew up! Such a family friendly and cute neighborhood! Second, there is no designated parking for this coffee shop so you will have to find somewhere on the street to park. Beware, there are nparking signs across the street that indicate "No parking " so be sure to pay attention to signs. They tow! Third, the service was slow because there are only two baristas who worked as efficiently as they could so I wouldn't come here if you're in a rush to go somewhere. I ordered a large, French toast hot latte and their breakfast burrito that came with a small container of salsa. Everything was delish and believe that nothing went to waste after the calories I burned at the gym. Hehe. The French Toast latte brought back memories and felt like I was holding the season of Fall in a cup of:) Definitely recommend that you check it out if you're a coffee fan. Other seasonal beverages include the Audrey Hepburn, Royal Hawaiian Mocha and Thai latte. Spot the new stuffie?

But I took my kids to another coffee truck (A Little A Latte) and like it goes with kids, they made me late. So I got here right at 10. But it's ok bc Cai.CafeX3 was just getting here. So I was a tad annoyed. But then I actually looked at the sign and it said 11am. They opened the doors right on time at 11 and took the first two customers in. I waited not even 5 more min before they let me in. Initially they were still making drinks for Jolene's staff which I think is awesome to bless their staff with a drink but it really delayed the drinks for the rest of us. They were very nice tho and kept apologizing. Wasn't a huge problem bc at the beginning of events like this you need to hit your groove. I was out of there by 11:22. The girls in front of me ordered a total of 4 drinks, and I ordered 3 drinks.... So I guess over all with all the staff drinks they had to make, and the fact that it was only one drink maker... they were still pretty quick. The line was wrapping around Jolene's so I think they will do well. I ordered the Vanilla Salted Caramel, the Strawberry Matcha Spritzer, and the Hojicha. They were only offering oat milk today, I think to manage the line, but if you go to their IG they normally offer other milks. I will need to try them again when I can choose bc I do not really like oat milk. But I do like how you can customize your sweetness level. All our drinks were good. My daughter pilfered the spritzer. Of the three the salted vanilla was the best. Their straws were cute pink heart straws that didn't photograph well in its wrapping. But my daughter says she's gonna use one on Wednesday bc it's pink lol. And we got a cute sticker too!
