When I got here I did have to wait a bit since there was only 1 person working and she was making orders for 2 customers which I was totally okay with since it gave me enough time to figure out what I was getting since my grandma wanted me to surprise her with something new. Once I got my order in I waited less than 5 minutes which I was quite surprised about but very happy with. As for my drink I can't say I was in love with it but I did like it and I honestly wouldn't mind coming by and getting it again if I was really craving boba especially compared to some of the other places I've tried. My grandma and I also really liked how the boba was since it was soft but not super soft to the point it makes you wonder how long they've had it sitting out or if they over did it. So because of this she actually wants to try a different flavor so she can find her go to order since they're pretty close to us.
Always like their drinks but this time there was piece of the green scrub sponge that came to my straw.
YipppTEA!... After seeing the hours on Yelp I thought that I'd have a missed opportunity for some late night tea and was surprised to see them still open see a post on their door of the extended hours to open until 9pm was thrilled and immediately entered. This Pearl Kai Shopping Center location is very easily accessible with lots of free parking by the shopping center and with a cool vibe with some seating provided by the store as well makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy your sip. Always a fruit tea lover it was the "Honey Green Tea" for me tonight as I wanted something light and refreshing to cleanse my palate and was asked but didn't want any toppings it was a nice and simple drink that I enjoyed throughout the night. The staff is so nice and friendly it was an easy sip and grateful for the extended hours so that I may enjoy something with convenience and is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Refreshing beverage in Pearl Kai Shopping Center, Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i... We arrived early for our reservation at the restaurant next door. Instead of waiting outside in the heat and sunshine, I urged my companions to go inside Coffee or Tea? because there was air-conditioning and seats available. The lone employee had to take orders and make drinks. She was very efficient and did as best as she could to keep up. When we were called back to the restaurant next door, she offered to make our drinks later - after we were done with dinner. However, I got permission from the restaurant to let us bring our drinks with us. Thank goodness! We enjoyed our wintermelon tea, cappuccino, and espresso shot. Thanks for accommodating us!
My daughter and I were in the mood for some boba, since this was the closest boba shop, we decided to stop by. When first walking in, it looks a bit bland, nothing special. I do have to say that it is very very clean. No dust on the menu, or the ceiling. It shows the place is taken care of. There was only 1 worker and I felt a bit sorry for her due to the evening rush on a Friday. I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind waiting. We ordered a strawberry smoothie w/ boba and an iced lemon black tea with boba. The flavor was great. The texture of the boba was delicious, wasn't too hard or too soft. This is definitely a place I will continue to visit.
We always come here for the #2 shaved ice! The ice is pretty soft and they put what seems like a brown sugar syrup over it. Then they put grass jelly, tea (or coffee) jelly, custard, and boba. They were out of boba when we went so we added ice cream! Overall it's not too sweet and perfect for sharing between 2-3 people.
Located in the Pearl Kai shopping center, Coffee or Tea offers a wide selection of drinks ranging from bubble tea and shakes to coffee. It's a possible study spot for those looking for a place that opens past 7 pm. Service and Ambiance. It is a casual place with 4-5 small tables that seat 1-3, so it may not fit larger groups. I did spot 1-2 wall outlets. The decoration is pretty simple but gets the job done. There is stable foot traffic, but most are grab-and-go, so I've never had an issue getting a sit-down table for quick work. There was only one worker the last 2 times I've visited, so service can be slow if there are a lot of workers. Price $$: Moderately priced drinks comparable to other coffee/boba shops (~$5-$8 ). There is, however, a minimum purchase of $10 to pay with the card, so either make a group order or have cash. They also have some snacks displayed for sale, but they seem to be a bit overpriced (you can probably get it cheaper at an Asian supermarket/Chinatown) Drinks/Food: Drinks are on the sweeter side, and many drinks can't be adjusted to below 50%, so I've stayed away from most of their pre-sweetened drinks (i.e., winter melon milk tea, honeydew milk tea, etc ). They don't have as many options as other boba places for those with dietary restrictions. Only limited drinks aren't premade to accommodate no-sugar or non-lactose milk options. Boba here is also presweetened in honey/sugar, so no drink can truly be 0% sugar. I've stuck to their original milk tea series (Asam, Jasmine, Oolong) for 0% sugar, and they were all pretty delicious. It's not my best, but it will satisfy my boba tea cravings while getting some work done.
One of my favorite places for a classic Assam Milk Tea with boba. The tea is nice and smooth, subtly sweet and just perfect for my milk tea taste buds. There are some places that have milk teas tasting a little chocolatey IMO, but this place does it right. Their bobas are always soft and chewy and they have a stamp card :)! The lady helping me is super quick, got my drink in less than a minute...so fast haha Can't wait to come back again!
Check in offer doesn't apply to shakes, only for milk tea and tea. 3.5 out of 5 stars Wide selection of drinks. I love how their boba's texture and taste were spot-on. We tried the ube smoothie and the avocado smoothie. The fresh taro was good, full of flavor, and it's nice to know they had fresh taro and not just the artificial ube drink. But the avocado smoothie was pretty weak. When I received it in my hand, I looked at the color and already knew it would taste weak - there wasn't enough green in it, almost like a milky greenish color in the cup. I took a sip and confirmed it. There was a lot of milk or cream flavor more than avocado. Even though they used fresh avocado, there wasn't enough. The price was your average boba price. $7 for a medium and $8 for a large (their jumbo), but they do have an XL. The lady was friendly and the store was spacious and clean. It's mostly empty space with only a few tables by the wall so the shop probably expected people to just order takeout.
Consistent milk tea and boba texture. You will get the same drink every time you visit and that's what I love about this place. I like the oolong milk tea or jasmine green milk tea, you can taste the tea. It comes out to $6 something for a jumbo size with boba. They also have an option to get a gallon of boba and milk tea, great for parties!
Haven't been here in years!!! But the place still looks exactly the same. Milk tea is still non dairy which I love! Sad part is that I forgot how much we loved the almond milk tea, ordered the coconut and almond milk tea and mines was the coconut but the almond was better! But still overall great good milk tea! Really missed this place. Boba is still so soft and delicious! Wish there was a location closer to home! Hope they stay alive went on a Saturday night 7 pm and it was empty. read more
This was my first time trying this coffee place. Let me just say, I still think about this coffee every single day! It was DELICIOUS! I got an iced, decaf latte, with fat free milk, and sugar free vanilla. Hands down, in comparison to this exact order elsewhere, this was the absolute best! Their cornbread pastry, fruit dish, and plain black coffee were all incredible as well! Their cashier was helpful, kind, and patient. The store was very busy and crowded, but the best part was it was still very clean and well stocked! read more
Growing up this was my go to boba spot when they only had one location in McCully. I had to come back to this place to reminisce about my childhood and honestly it hasn't changed! First time walking in I was greeted by a lovely lady, this location doesn't have many seats but majority are just grabbing and going. I ordered the chocolate shake with boba and a milk tea with boba and they tasted exactly how I remembered them from when I was a kid. It brought back so many memories and I was genuinely so happy it honestly made my day. I'm also really glad they've opened an additional location because back in the day my mother making that drive to McCully was not it .Definitely a nostalgic spot for me and I'm happy to see that the taste and experience are still there after all these years! read more

The fact that my son and I were given so called cheesecake bobas when in reality it was warm, not blended because they do not have a blender, they just use a shaker. It taste like a strawberry protein shake and the boba was gummy compared to normal. When I expressed how it tasted they didn't want to make it again or give a refund .Considering that I live in ewa beach where there is boba cafe, taste tea, and tea espresso you know what a well shook boba tea would taste like. This was trash and they wouldn't bother correcting it. Rude and a tad ghetto read more

We like this boba place. I still love their Watermelon Juice with boba when in season and the Honey Lemon Green Tea is a fav too. It's conveniently located in Pearl Kai Shopping Center. Nice workers. Today we tried the Grande Oreo Shake and Grande Ube Shake. The Oreo Shake was a new fav! Sort of reminds me of my Mocha Java Frappuccino from Starbucks. My Ube Shake had creamy Ube Icecream so a bit heavier but still a delicious dessert drink. Glad I got a Grande. I could only drink half and saved the rest. read more

The ube float is amazing! Would definitely order again, and the price was not too bad considering you get scoops of ube ice cream in the drink. Lots of drink options on the menu in this small shop with limited seating. Service was nice. Big shared private parking lot with other businesses in the strip mall. Located makai of Pearlridge. read more

This cute little place has been open for seven years. I have never walked around this shopping center before. Wanted to walk after a nice heavy lunch. And found some gyms in the shopping center, this is one of them. Yummy tea and coffee place. They have a long list and coffee concoctions that you can put together to make yours special. I tried the milk tea with the Ube wall. My friend tried the honeydew melon. Now that I know the shop is in the area I will come back again. read more

Best shave ice, milk tea, and coffee. My wife and I come here often. It's hard not to get the same thing because it is so good, but everything is so good. And reasonably priced. Friendly, quick, and yummy. Give it a go if you're over by Pearl Kai! read more
Such a hot and sunny day so decided to stop in for some cool and refreshing tea. They take precautionary safety measures with 6' distancing and required face mask upon entering. We ordered Honey Dew Ice Tea and Watermelon juice. Both always cool and refreshing. So nice to be out again but yet are being very cautious. Thanks Coffee and Tea for your service. read more

3 star service 4 1/2 star drink Note: you have to spend min. $10 to use a card so have cash if you're only getting one drink! This is just my opinion and experience, obviously Yelp doesn't do half star so I'll go with four. Their lychee Honey Tea smoothie is the only thing I or my family personally have enjoyed that we got from here. When I say I enjoy it though I mean I reaaally love it, it's an amazing balance of sweet but not too sweet (which sorry for all the "sweets" LOL) but is my sweet spot! I've come here a few times and only once had an experience that made me realize the service can be a headache since it's usually a pretty quick experience you don't get the opportunity to know until something makes it a longer interaction. Quick talk story time: My mom asked for a no dairy lychee tea slushie and they made her the lychee yogurt smoothie (which has dairy) then when Ma noticed it was milky/wasn't the drink she ordered and tried to let them know they refused to make her the thing she ordered and only gave her the option of repurchasing and being stuck with the dairy drink they mistakingly made and she couldn't drink; I ended up asking again myself and to see if she remembered my Ma asking for "no dairy" which she did but still the barista had to make some calls before she eventually made my Ma the drink she ordered and could actually drink. It seemed unnecessary and odd but I thought I'd mention it in the review because ever since I always watch them as they making mine now so I don't risk having to go through that again. #posttraumaticslushiedisorder This is a small place with a few indoor seats, snacks available for sale and some desserts as well. Despite that experience I would still recommend checking them out. read more

Visited Nov 18 around 10:45am. Was greeted by a nice lady, and she had our drinks out within a few minutes. Hats off to her, especially when she appeared to be running the shop alone at the time! The drinks were very good, and I loved the ube float! I liked that the mocha frappe had a stronger coffee flavor and not just sugar like how other frappes from other places taste. She loaded my float UP with soft and tasty boba. The store gave off a very comfortable feel with several tables to sit at if you're not in a rush to go anywhere. I work at a shop similar to this one but I gotta admit, I like Coffee or Tea's drinks better. Shhh... I can't be caught out here praising the competition... 10/10!!! read more
