I went with the mango and coconut combo. The mango was delicious, as always, but the coconut was far more subtle and ended up getting overpowered by the bold mango flavor. I'd probably order them separately next time. Despite the enjoyable shave ice, I knocked down a star for because of the lack of ventilation. The interior is actually a lot nicer than the one in town, but for some reason, it was pretty stuffy in there and the air was stale. It made for an uncomfortable dine-in experience.

I live and work in town and I rarely leave town, but just to visit this place again, I drove all the way out here to get another dessert from them! The staff is so cute and friendly and their fruits are relatively fresh! It's a pretty sizable cup of ice wave and it's definitely a shareable size, but I can easily finish it myself because it's so good! This is one reason why I leave town. I'm really hoping they open one in town soon. It's also great to support local businesses! I'll be visiting this place sometime very soon again!

Located in the same shopping center as Times, right on the corner, so there is ample parking. Upon arrival there was a small line but the 2 employees were hard at work. I decided on an "Ulu" size shave ice with Tigers Blood, Lychee, Guava - added li hing sauce & snow cap (both for an additional charge). The shave ice texture was amazing & syrups were really fresh & flavorful! Ululani's started in Maui and uses pure cane sugar for their syrups & ultra filtered water for their ice. I also didn't know how many locations are on island now so it's good to know there's always an Ululani's stop nearby. Will definitely be back!

First, the staff is always so kind, accommodating, and patient. If you're ever on the fence, they're always so willing to help guide you in the right direction to give you the best poke experience. Although they've only got a few flavors of Poke, it's perfectly enough! They give you a hefty amount of rice and poke with every bowl; I always have some left over every time and their poke flavors are always SO amazing, regardless of what combination you choose (although, I would recommend their Gingah and Spicy Shoyu together). Although I love their bowls, I would absolutely recommend getting their pound of poke deal. You can divvy up the weight of poke any way you want, so usually my husband and I get a quarter of a different flavor poke and just make our rice at home--the only downside to doing this is that you don't get the fun toppings (furikake and crunchy mochi). Also, just a disclaimer, their space is extremely small with limited bar-type seating, so plan to take your bowl/food to go if you want to be comfortable. The only reason why I'm docking 1 star is because unfortunately, some of their toppings are a little too expensive to add on for the amount that you get. Other than that, Ryder's will not disappoint--I promise! I always recommend this Poke Shop to all of our visitors and I'm not stopping now--try Ryder's out if you're in the area!
