Tearrific in Aiea... A new spot in Aiea Village Square is Lil Tea Cup though it's been six months I finally made my way to this adorable spot located in the back building ground floor which can be hidden if you don't know is unfortunate as this cute spot does obviously offers tea though along with that whips up freshly house baked items like banana bread and even offered samples of no bake peanut butter cookies more like a energy bar was very nice and simple. With lots of seating it's a great spot to relax and rest as I decided on one of their special item "Honey Matcha" with Almond milk is a nice and refreshing sip that is a bit more of a dessert since it includes honey Teddy Grahams, Macadamia Nuts and scoop of vanilla ice cream...yum! The staff and what seems to be the owner is so friendly and though yes the matcha wasn't really that prominent it was freshly whisked and topped with so much goodness it was indeed a great Lil T Cup. Thank you!

***4.5 STARS*** I belong to a foodie group where we crossed paths via Yelp and Yelp Hawai'i. We are just like family. We get together every so often and will celebrate birthdays together. When a get together is set up, we mark our calendars and show up to the designated venue. Located in Aiea Town Square in the spot previously occupied by Hughley's Southern Cuisine, Lil T Cup Cafe (LTCC) opened in late-December 2025 and had their grand opening on Valentine's Day 2026. They offer sandwiches, baked goods, plate lunches, plus a variety of coffees and teas. They also offer high tea service offered Monday through Saturday. Earlier this week we celebrated a birthday and gathered on Memorial Day. Auntie (aka Nadine C.) made arrangements for high tea service at LTCC. We usually celebrate birthdays with a dinner so this was a different experience. I was among the last ones to arrive of our group of 8 and immediately saw my friends so I bypassed the staff and walked to our table. Several of my friends blurted out to grab a hat and be festive for our tea time. I saw a whole bunch of cool decor of rabbit ceramic figurines that really lived up to the theme. I grabbed a hat from the front and strategically secured it with the accompanying clip. Ended up receiving multiple compliments during my stay here. Auntie guided me to the tea selection, which is locally sourced, and asked her to read it for me as the labeling was printed in small fonts. I usually will choose Earl Gray but decided on lavender black tea for something different. After everyone arrived our food was delivered and was introduced to owner Marisa, who was very hospitable during our whole stay. 4 3-tiered trays of sweet and savory bites were delivered, along with a complimentary birthday surprise snack where candles were lit. We then all sang to the birthday girl. After we patiently took turns documenting our experience by capturing food pics, it was now finally time to dig in. THE VERDICT: Traditionally, the bottom tier has savory bites. We were served BLT and cucumber, dill and cheese sandwiches cut into quarters. The BLT was executed well with crunchy bacon and was a crowd favorite but the cucumber sandwich stole the show for me as I just love fresh dill. For the middle tier, don't be expecting your typical scones and clotted cream here. With a local theme, mini Spam musubis were served. These were also delicious. On the top tier we had banana chocolate chip bread and chocolate dipped cookies with "Happy Birthday" written on top with icing. Staff checked in on us to ensure we had enough pots of hot water and our water glasses were refilled. The only setback was the pots of hot water were not hot enough to make our cups of tea. I tried to steep my tea bag on several attempts and eventually gave up. Overall, an entertaining and above average first experience at LTCC where I wouldn't mind coming back. This time I'd like to sample one of their sandwiches and pair it with the iced lavender matcha drink.

Some of us got to together to celebrate Donna .O birthday celebration. The place was at Lil T Cup cafe in Aiea my first time having tea . It was fun because they provided different hats to choose from to play dress up . Also you can choose your own type of teas. They bring a tea bag along with a hot kettle although the hot water was not very hot lol . To my surprise the food was very filling you think small finger sandwiches but I was really full . The service was great our waitress kept an eye on us . The food consist of Spam musubi, cookies , banana bread, BLT and cucumber w/ cream cheese sandwich. Support local

Tea in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i... Lil T Cup Cafe sounded like a great place, so I had to see it for myself. Marisa is the friendly owner who was so helpful and explained everything. She was very kind to each customer who walked in and was enthusiastic about her small, local business! The spacious shop was very clean and calm. The ordering area was cute, and the seating area was welcoming. I thought that it would be the perfect place for my friend's birthday gathering next month - so I reserved it for an Afternoon Tea Party. This Tea service starts at 8am on Mondays to Fridays, and 10am on Saturdays. Since I was there, I ordered an Avocado Toast and a Pineapple Lilikoi iced tea. The two slices of avocado toast were delicious and extra tasty with a garlic flavor and chopped onions. The iced tea was refreshing and not too sweet! I'm looking forward to returning and trying the tonkatsu, salads, sandwiches, and musubi! Thanks for the free shared parking, convenient restroom, and pleasant, air-conditioned environment!

Celebrated a Birthday at lil T Cup Cafe. Very friendly service. There was a separate table set up with theme hats. Our table had a rabbit theme. Very cute. Tea and finger food was tasty. Nice way to celebrate. Enjoy

Celebrated our yelp friend birthday Donna O. today. Thank you to Nadine C for doing all the arrangements with the owner for our tea party. It was very good from the sweet and savory items. It was nice to dress up in their hats they provided for us to use. Everybody enjoyed it something different and trying different items. The service was very good checking on us for the hot water for tea and if we needed anything else. If you looking for something different for a small party check out their afternoon tea service.

Banana bread French toast

Came here on a weekend and the place was already busy and bustling. The staff here are so warm and welcoming . I was overwhelmed with the choices on their menu but they were able to walk me through everything. I tried their fruity pebbly banana French toast, lavender matcha latte and their breakfast sandwich. Everything was so delicious . I loved their fun spin of banana bread French toast! Delicious and such a good little treat. The latte was not too sweet and was not too floral. Overall I would come back again. Perfect little spot to study' and hang out if you need a place that's quiet with tables.

Cookies and cream latte
Jose L.

Great spot for morning coffee and breakfast. I got their cookies and cream latte which had just the right amount of sweetness. I also ordered their breakfast sandwich which was really good! It had egg bacon and cheese with some sweet sauce, can recall what it was. The employees were amazing people and gave great recommendations. This place is also a safe location to be in. Especially when the roads are icy. Would definitely add it to my places to stop by when I am back in Oahu.

Tonkatsu burrito

I personally did not enjoy this place what so ever. As soon as I walked in, there was no greeting. The owner was quite rude tbh.I asked the owner what was in the Ube matcha and I couldn't get a decent response. I wanted to know what type of sweetener was in the matcha. When I did get my matcha, it was horrible. No ube flavor, no vanilla flavor and especially no matcha flavor... It literally tasted like water. I also got the tonkatsu burrito and it was horrible! I got nothing but sauce and a burnt tonkatsu. I took 2 bites and threw it away. I spent $30 just so it could go into the trash.

Avocado toast on Taro bread with bacon and over easy eggs & fruity pebbles Banana Bread French toast
Riz V.

Found this cute cafe shop close to home and seen that they had avocado toast. We were intrigued because it was on Taro bread!!! and I don't think we've seen that before. The owner was very friendly and informative about each item on the menu. I like that fact that whatever you order is very customizable. For the matcha, she asked what our preference was (if we wanted it more sweet or more earthy tasting) and that's very appreciative because I'm a picky matcha drinker. Also with the avocado toast, she asked if we wanted eggs and bacon on it and how we would like it cooked. The Fruity pebbles French toast was amazing as well, it was made of banana bread and it had condensed milk and whip cream on it. The cookie milk latte was yummy, just the right amount of sweetness and espresso! Will definitely be coming here again! Mahalo to the owner and barista for being so nice and patient!

lil t cup

It was spacious inside if you wanted to sit and eat. It was easy to order. The sandwich was amazing, tasted fresh and their ube bread was so good. My bacon was nice and crunchy the way I like it. I got mine to go and the packaging was cute.

Cyndy's Bottom Line: Cozy coffee cafe with yummy desserts and sandwiches -Located in the Aiea Town Square in the former soul food restaurant -Parking available in front and adjacent lot -Nice and roomy dining area -Great menu offerings - something for everyone. The food menu includes a tonkatsu pork plate, sandwiches, salads, musubi and "Da Make Your Own Musubi." There is also French toast, Fruity Pebble Banana bread, and strawberry and lime jello cream cheese squares by the slice. -Ube bread avocado toast -Stopped in for a quick coffee and the iced matcha latte caught my eye. The matcha latte was very good with almond milk and the handmade cold foam. Very yummy till the last sip. *Will return to try the food and to support local. *Highly recommend

Breakfast sandwich! So delicious

This is my One Stop Shop for all things delicious. I am totally a foodie and I absolutely need coffee in the morning so this is a perfect place to stop. It has a little cafe area on the side with tables and chairs so you can have business meetings or just take a chance to work on some things for your self. I absolutely love love the turkey salad and the banana bread. The stuff is really friendly and they're very knowledgeable about their menu. Super helpful when you're asking for recommendations. I truly love supporting small businesses that have local Flair and heart behind their business. If you're looking to try someplace new for breakfast or lunch and just need somewhere to meet for friends or possibly even hold a get together as the area with tables and chairs can't hold at least 20 or so people, I would definitely make a trip to this cafe.

The cafe was also blessed while we were there. Truly a local spot.

It was one of my favorite dishes here. Unfortunately, the food just didn't have the flavor I was hoping for. The pork chop in particular tasted a little off to me, and instead of the Chinese-inspired flavors I remembered, the dishes felt more like local comfort food with a bit of Chinese flair. The overall experience also felt a little lacking in warmth and friendliness. I know many restaurants are facing challenging times, and it's never my intention to leave a low review. I genuinely want local businesses to succeed. But one thing I've learned throughout my food journey is that when food is made with love, you can taste it. It's more than just the ingredients--it's the care, pride, and aloha that come with it. And when that feeling is missing, you notice it too. This is simply my honest experience. No hate, just Queenie keeping it real. I'm hoping this was just an off day, and I truly wish them the best moving forward.
