First time to Black Sheep Cream at Ka Uka Blvd. Right next door to Costco . I ordered their Kookie cookie and their Busta coconut. Service was good , letting us know about their different ice creams. Support local

    Flight of ice cream

We tried the flight of ice cream and My Wife got a scoop as well. Our absolute favorite and reason we would keep coming back as the bus to coconut. It just tasted fresh and creamy and refreshing. There was a chocolate cookies and cream one that would've been second but the coconut I would get every single time. The mint one is not our favorite as it was just too minty. It was a little odd as you couldn't really see the flavors. They were back behind the counter on the other side, which is just odd for an ice cream place. And the lady working was not super friendly. Maybe she just wasn't having a good day, but she just waited for us to talk to her.

Unique ice cream creations with fun flavor names! My all-time favorite flavors that I keep coming back for are Uh Huh Honey, Must Have Yo Pistachio, Creep It Real, and Buttah Cakes. They change out the ice cream options pretty regularly so they might not always have what you're looking for. The shop has a clean and modern industrial vibe. Two tables and a few counter seats inside and a few benches outside.

Believe the hype. This place is really good. Bonus points that it is DOG FRIENDLY, where we were able to bring our well-behaved beagle inside while we ordered and ate our ice cream. Menu changes (daily? Not sure, but likely) often, so you can return and get something new, or also something familiar, depending on the day. If you're undecided they have a flight option to get smaller portions of more.

Brother-in-law suggested ice cream for dessert. After a number of suggestions between the three of us we picked Black Sheep Creamery. We got lucky with parking. There only a few stalls infront the shop. Today I had the Busta Coconut. Flavorful and creamy Coconut Ice cream, with bits of pecan. Some of the nut pieces were large I thought that it took away from the overall coconut taste. Friendly service and great tasting ice cream. Enjoy

Update 10-18-25. After lunch my brother wanted to eat something sweet like ice cream. So we decided to come here and have dessert. I ordered the berry baked. It's with strawberry blueberry and cream cheese. It was good. My husband and brother had Busta coconut had coconut ice cream and crushed and wholesale pecans. Was good. My husband said less the nuts would have been better. Will be back again.

Five stars for the Guava Girl flavor!! It's a vanilla ice cream base with homemade guava butter cake chunks throughout, and it's SO good! We ordered the flight, which I love that they had that option, so we also tried their black sesame and the rocky road. The black sesame was good, and definitely true to the flavor, but kinda wish it was given something a little more unique, like some cookie crumbles or something additional to give it texture. The rocky road was good but nothing unique. Guava Girl was definitely the winner and I'd order that every single time!

Wow! Great little ice cream shop with designer ice cream. Great flavors and consistency. Super creamy. I ordered the 3 scoops so I can try different flavors, perfect to share.

A must have!! The honeydew ice cream was so good!! The mister bean was basic vanilla but oh so good! The strawberry was great. Service was excellent. Place is very open. This is a must have

My favorite ice cream flavor has always been vanilla or French vanilla, which they have here under the name of "Mister Bean". Today I had the chance to also buy both the "Lilikoi Crunch Cake" and "Apple Pie" flavor - love all of them but the Lilikoi one has to be my new favorite!

Ask the Community - Black Sheep Cream

Is this location still open? I've stopped by a few times during their regular business hours and they've been closed. I just tried calling and no answer.

I just called, too, without success. However, I did have some ice cream from there in June. 😬. Plus, someone just posted a review 4 days ago 👍🏼

So you have the flavor Joe Got Nuts?

    Not today.

Do they still offer catering for parties and events? & how can I contact them for availability and booking?

    Yes!

Do they rent carts with party favor size treats for a baby shower?

    Not at this time

Do they have milkshakes? And how are they if they do?

Yes they do! So, you can choose 2 ice cream flavors to be mixed (it can't have chunks inside- so like the rocky road, mochi mama, etc. can't be mixed since it has chunks inside like the marshmallow & mochi bits). It's pretty good for a shake…

Where is the new ala moana store?

Not sure if there is a Black Sheep location at Ala Moana

Does the buttah cake ice cream contain nuts? I'm allergic

There are no visible nuts, chopped, whole or pieces in this creamy smooth concoction. I didn’t see any nuts in the description of this flavor nor did I taste any nut flavoring either. I enjoyed a scoop of buttah cake on my first visit to black…

Do they sell ice cream cakes?

No they do not. They only sell the ice cream and coffee drinks.

Does anyone know if they do gift cards/gift certificates?

They do gift cards, I received 1 for Christmas.

    Do they cater for parties?

I don't think they cater, but they do have a freezer where you can buy to-go containers.

No number listed so I can't call to ask...does anyone know if they brought back Creep it Real? We went a few weeks ago and it was gone. Thanks in advance!…

No. They don't have it on their menu. But I noticed they have a "Mint to Be" flavor

Do they have the creep it real (cookies & cream flavor today, 2/5/18?

    Yes they do.

Is shake your coconuts made with coconut milk/dairy free? Are there any dairy free options? Thanks!

I asked the worker and the shake is not dairy free.

Getting there took us some time- A) my husband and I were driving from the Aiea area to Ewa Beach... on a Friday afternoon, and B) parking was a pain, but we were able to find street parking pretty quickly. We knew what we were getting into before our drive, and I'm so glad we did because it was well worth the trip! The ice cream shop is fairly small- can't hold a lot of people and no seating inside, but there's plenty of tables outside, and the weather outside was just perfect with some sun and a breeze! The line moves quickly, so ordering isn't a pain at all! I ordered their calamansi dreamsicle and my husband got their root beer float, and both were 10/10! I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could've tried more of their flavors (like their strawberry guava one)! First off, the calamansi dreamsicle was really refreshing and creamy; it had hints of citrus, with a lemon/orange taste, perfect for a warm summer afternoon! My husband had the root beer float, which had their house-made vanilla ice cream and root beer from Maui Brewing Company (I didn't even know they made root beer)! It was delicious as well- I loved that I was able to see little black specks of vanilla bean in the ice cream, and the root beer had hints of honey in it! My husband and I knew the root beer tasted different (in a good way), but couldn't put our finger on it until I read the ingredients and saw that honey was one of them! Super yummy!! All in all, my husband and I agreed that we'll be coming back again to try different flavors!

Small inside...but there are tables outside the storefront. They offer beverages: lattes and such. But I was here for Sage's ice cream. A single scoop is $6; double is $9; a pint is $14. Got a single scoop of one of their signature flavors, Kaua'i Kulolo. Fantastic with bits of kulolo imbeded in each sweet and creamy scoop. Hours are from 12 noon till 800p, from Wednesday thru Friday. Weekends they operate from 800a to 800p. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
