I'm obsessed with their Midnight Tea. Made with milk tea, boba and brulee cheese foam, its the perfect drink to satisfy an afternoon sweet tooth craving. Strong tea with a sweet sugary crust from the brulee and soft, chewy boba. The shop is relatively small with no seats. Service is quick and efficient. Order at the register and browse the many cute toys and figurines for sale while you wait. Overall a great choice for boba!

We're visiting Hawaii and decided to come back to this place. The lady taking my partners order (we ordered twice) was rude. It would've been 5 stars but the way she was impatient was annoying. We were trying to figure out the number we used for rewards and she got so impatient that she annoyingly tapped the screen for us, we didn't even want to sign up for texts. The way she called out our drinks and the looks she gave us was annoying. The drinks itself was pretty good. Wish they put more ice because the hot water melted the ice before they even gave it to us. (I work at a boba shop in Washington) so I'm like okay cool. It wasn't busy at all, there was no one there so idk why she was in such a weird mood. I get that they were probably trying to close shop at 8pm, but girl, the attitude needs to go.

S7 is located in Kapolei Shopping center near L&L. The parking lot is great and there's always spaces. We come here after dinner sometimes or when we want a quick boba fix during the day. I like that they're open a little later because we don't have too many dessert places open late on the West side. Inside there is no seating area, it's just grab-and-go. There are small trinkets on the inside that you can look at and purchase such as keychains, stationary, notebooks, etc. they're all cute and that's how they get you to spend more money. We came here after dinner today and there was only two people in front of us. We ordered an Oreo smoothie with boba. We've tried a couple other drinks before but we've been getting this one lately. The Oreo wasn't too sweet and it doesn't taste as milky or heavy if you were to get it from a fast food place. They only have one size (large) for most of their drinks but some are available in small, such as their milk teas. We usually only wait ~5 min for our drinks and the staff is very friendly. They also have bag carriers for your drinks, you just have to ask. Overall it's a pretty good boba place and they have a wide variety of options. We really like it and probably will come back again and again!

It's like all the other S7 Icy Bubble spots. They sell drinks and also cute merchandise such as small bags, notebooks, clips, etc. It wasn't that busy when we went. There was one other person besides us. The workers didn't greet us when we walked in. We stood there looking at the menu for like 10 minutes. We couldn't decide what to order. The workers just stood there looking at us. They didn't offer any help or explain any of the drinks to us. We decided to go get sugarcane juice from another place instead.

My oasis savior on a hot summer day in Hawai'i... Gosh what a summer we're having and I see it here as it's booming with crowds gathering for that cool sip! I was in the Ewa/Kapolei area which just happens to be right across the Skyline rail station on the free ride weekend and seriously not wanting to join the crowd though geez let's just see if it's feasible. Long story short I hopped on and off on each station and no food or drinks are allowed (understandably so) and this was the hot late afternoon...gosh I was so thirsty!! A station that someone had pinned actually was over 2 miles away omg and I was just curious of where it was and checked it out and took me here in Kapolei Shopping Center hahaha!!!! Already made the change with Yelp at the correct location just was curious and yes I did check in at this location since why I not I was actually there and what else is here...s7-Icy!!!! Yipeeee!! All the signs just directed me to here as I was so thirsty then and there was a parking right out front of the shop so it was a breeze to grab a cool sip of my favorite tea and it was heavenly. This shop is nice and spacious filled with the usual fun asian items for sale along with a claw machine there isn't any seating here but the service is fast and friendly. Thank you!

I get the Jasmine tea with Lychee jellies. The jellies at this place are sooo good. Better than anywhere I've tried. But I don't like the cups. I like clear cups, it's adds to the deliciousness. So these cups unfortunately are giving Dunkin' Donuts vibes

    Lychee Blush with crystal boba
    Jennifer T.

I had the Lychee Blush with crystal boba at 50% sweetness. It's a blended ice drink of green tea with lychee added. Has a slightly floral green tea flavor with a hint of natural lychee flavor. The "crystal boba" really isn't boba at all. It's not soft and chewy like the black boba balls are. It has the texture similar to the lychee strips some boba places have. It was not what I expected when I sucked it into my mouth, but it was good. The crystal boba had a slight sweetness to them. Together with the drink, it worked quite well. I wish I could turn it upside-down and shake the drink like places that seal the cup with that plastic film to disperse the balls throughout the drink instead of a clump of them sitting on the bottom. I'm not too fond of my first few sucks getting a mouthful of balls despite trying to stir it. Service was good. I would come back for this drink. Hard to find good drinks at boba shops that don't have dairy in them.

***4.5 STARS*** After having a nice dinner in Kapolei, it was time for dessert and in the back of my mind I was thinking of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory but before I had a chance to say something, Auntie (aka Nadine C.) blurted out "Let's so to S7 Icy Bubble as they've got one nearby and I've got gift card to use that I recently won from a blood drive. It's my treat." Nuff said. Located in Kapolei Marketlplace next door to L&L Drive Inn, S7 Icy Bubble offers bubble tea, smoothies, milk teas, fruit teas, yogurt drinks and ice cream rolls. They originally started in March 2018 in Pearl City. They have grown and expanded to 5 more locations of Kalihi, Kapahulu, Wahiawa, Kapolei and the newest one in Aina Haina. My only experience was at their Kalihi location where it was not memorable - - I still have flashbacks of my Fresh Mango Icy Bubble where the mango chunks were so large that it wouldn't go through the straw. (strike 1) I also didn't care for the ambiance. It was pre-COVID so we dined in and was quite noisy with Chinese patrons at that time. Reminded me of being at a dim sum house. (strike 2) This time I went with an open mind, and I was utterly shocked when I walked in. It seemed more like an accessory store where they have LOTS and LOTS of trinkets all throughout the store. But I was more impressed with their LEGO display that featured Marvel superheroes, Superman, Batman, Pikachu and Pac Man ghosts, Mario and Cai Shen (God of Wealth). I was impressed with their extensive menu, but I pretty much wanted something standard, so I opted for the Classic Milk Tea Creamy with less sweetener. It wasn't that busy when we arrived, so it didn't take too long for us to get our drinks. After taking the obligatory photos, it was time to enjoy our dessert, but they currently don't offer dine-in, so we ended up walking in the marketplace while sipping on our drinks. I'm glad that I requested less sweetener because it was just right for me. Now that I'm older, I must watch my sugar intake, so I appreciated the barista acknowledging my request. To be frank, I'm no longer a fan of boba as you need to chew and chew. Next time I probably will ask to eliminate the boba pearls. I was also pleased with their customized sturdy cups as I don't care for those flimsy cups. Overall, a pleasant second experience with S7 Icy Bubble where I would be game to go back again. I'm glad I gave them another chance after a horrific first experience that kept me away for several years.

Great bubble tea and gift shop! I will say S7 was a bit hard to spot because it looks like a random knickknack shop from the outside, but once you step inside -- the boba game is strong. A solid pick for bubble tea when in Kapolei! Thanks for the great find Yelp!!

    Dangerous lid and choking hazard!!!
    L K.

Those with kids, MUST READ: These new cups pose a significant safety hazard for kids. Writing on the lid as you can see isn't in English.... What's the hazard? When u pop the straw in (which can only be done on one side) the blue tab was dislodged and was in my drink! When you think you have a just a bunch of boba grouped together and it comes through the straw, I coughed and nearly choked on the blue tab!!! I can't imagine if this was a little kid that this happened to! Told myself never coming here again, today I was reminded why! So for those of you with kids and buying drinks for keep this in mind. They need to change this cup today!!!

    Signature Milk Tea
    Kylie T.

I come here every so often after work or on the weekend to pick up a drink. Icy Bubble has a bunch of different options to choose from - more traditional milk teas, sparkling fruit drinks, smoothies, and even those purple rice yogurt drinks. I usually get the midnight milk tea or signature milk tea. Keeping it plain and simple as some of their drinks can be a pretty penny! It truly becomes a treat yourself when the price of food goes up - but that's understandable when price of inventory goes up too. :( Overall, it's a pretty solid milk tea! Sometimes it can get overwhelming since some of the menu items aren't fully explained and you leave it up to chance. They have a bunch of different toys and home goods to choose from as well!

They offer signature bowls for those who don't like having to decide on bases, toppings, drizzles, etc. Signature bowls come in two sizes: regular (16oz.) $13.99 and large (24 oz.) $15.99. Whatever bowls give you the freedom to decide on base - bonus base - fresh fruit - super foods - drizzle. These are priced the same but you decide what you do and do not want, which is nice. Mind you, they also offer: toasts, smoothies and drinks such as lemonade, iced blended coffee, matcha, and cold brews. Açaí bowl was a generous portion of base / bonus base / fruit. I appreciate how they chop their fruit into bite size pieces. Idk what it is but I like my fruit in my bowl to be bite size like small easy to eat and chew. Maybe it has to do with base/topping/fruit ratios!? Fruit was fresh too, which for this price point- I'd expect and they delivered. There are many options available which again, for this price point you'd expect, so it's nice to have. The only problem was they were out of Nutella. Like, why? My daughter went a week before writing this review and she said they were out of bananas. In my opinion, banana and Nutella are not items hard to keep in stock! We would visit again. Side note, Monday - Friday 6-7pm they offer $2 off signature bowls!

There's a few seats inside and as of this year they sell a few Knick knack things and have books for kids as well as board games. This visit was rather strange though we walked in and no one was at the counter. No bell to ring. We said hello a few times and we were ready to walk out. But one of the ladies from the nail salon was sitting at the table in the corner and we asked if they were open. She alerted someone in the nail salon and she came out promptly. This time around we ordered the mango sticky rice and D2 had the lava flow. I was curious about the mango sticky rice, bc it's blowing up all over the place here at various other places so I had to give it a try. I thought it was something new. Turns out it's just like mango sago that I get on the mainland. It was good though and very satisfying. Blended fresh mango, coconut milk, and mini sago pearls. D2 wasn't sure how she felt about her lava flow though. She asked what a lava flow is supposed to be and I told her coconut and strawberry. When I saw her drink it was more yellow and possibly pineapple?! She said it definitely tasted like pineapple more-so than coconut. Oh well maybe their interpretation is different. She drank it anyway and said at least she's tried it. We've been so many times I've lost count. They have a rewards system by just typing in your phone number. We've tried so many things like li hing lemonade, passion fruit slushes, coffees with egg pudding. And everything is good.
