Ordered via DoorDash because we had a coupon and there was no other way of ordering ahead. We were hoping to just run down and pick it up but using DoorDash defeated the whole purpose because when we got there, they said they don't get notifications when these third-party orders come through. If that's the case, why even turn on third party ordering? Since they didn't see it, they ended up making our drinks when we got there and we ended up having to wait 15 minutes. Their coffee milk tea is my jam! The strip mall Laulani Village, is full of great places to get groceries, meals, hardware, and of course drinks! They are true to flavor and sweetness. When you request 25% sweetness, that's what you get! They're also one of the few tea shops that has small boba. I typically finish my beverage in two or three sittings. Over just doesn't make it in the fridge. But if I get small boba, it's perfectly fine! And it's just as fresh and chewy as the first day! There are about three tables for you to sit and escape the heat to enjoy your tea though I chose to take mine on the go it is my usual fave Wintermelon Tea light sweet and added coconut jelly yummy!!! Can't go wrong with the classic milk tea and classic boba. this place always has good classic milk tea. fast delicious tasty and consistent. And they use nondairy milk powder so for all those of you who are lactose intolerant, this is a great option. I also like that you can choose your sweetness. I'm glad to see this boba place in Ewa Beach. It's nice to have options in the area. Drinks: My "go to" drink when I come to this location is the brown sugar boba. It is a sweet drink but I ask for less sweetness at 50%. I always add on small boba and coffee jelly. The coffee jelly they use as a soft consistency almost like pudding. I don't care for their Wintermelon milk tea which is normally my favorite flavor of tea at boba shops. I've tried a few other drinks in the past; i.e. taro, fruit pebbles and strawberry iced tea. They are all okay. Price: The average price of a drink is $5. Great price for their drinks. They offer a stamp card. Service: The staff are quick. Put Molten Boba back on the menu. The regular boba is under sweetened and has a bad texture. And make sure to stir the small boba throughout the day so the baristas aren't giving out baby fist sized chunks of boba to customers. And why offer fruit tea lemonades on the menu and not just fruit lemonades? Not everyone wants half and half. Some just want lemonade. Super frustating that I can get a honey lemonade but not a peach or strawberry lemonade. And I wish the recipes were more standardized. What I mean by that is my regular drink order (MGT) tastes different depending on who is making orders and I hate that I can't count on it tasting the same every time I order it. I'm glad we have another boba place in Ewa Beach. I've been here on many occasions and thankfully it's never crowded when I stop by. The girls behind the counter are nice. The drinks are alright. It's enough for me to get my milk tea fix. I always get the brown sugar milk tea, and it's never failed me yet. Their boba is a hit or miss; some days it's soft and other days it's a big sticky clump at the bottom of my cup. The prices are good for the quality and size of the drink. I went to get Thai food at Royal Thai and saw that there was no line at Taste Tea so I decided to get something cold for this summer weather. There were 3 young ladies working, they seemed bored because they were in their phone (I'm not against it, I would be doing the same if there were no customers). As I'm ordering the girl was already making my order in the back as she listened to me tell the cashier my order. I ordered then the cashier repeated my order but one drink was wrong. But the girl in the back was already making the drink when I wasn't done ordering/ paying. It's good that the cashier confirmed my order before paying. I was really hoping to love this place since it's so close to home, but mehhh it was not IT. With boba cafe across the street you'd think they would bring their A game! We ordered a total of 6 drinks, (one not pictured as it was being remade) And not one of them did we love. Fruity pebbles, brown sugar, pudding & classic all were way to watery. It was like the flavors were just non existent and most of these drinks were for the kids so they totally hated it. I had the brown sugar boba which was okay, but also tasted like 80% water with sugar. We probably won't be back, for $35 worth of drinks i guess we just expected better :/ read more

I want to start off by saying I came to Taste Tea when it first opened and i was super excited for it but ended up having a bad experience the first time around. 2 years later after people telling me and encouraging me to go to Taste Tea and give it another try with their fruity pebbles milk tea. I was like "why not? i'll just try it again despite having bad experiences here" I placed an order under "Kim" i'm sure whomever took my order o the phone remembers me :) but i came in about 20 minutes later after telling them i would be there in 10 but i had to make a pit stop to foodland to grab poke to eat. I eventually made my way to the shop there were about 3 people in line in front of me, not too bad it went super fast. I told the girl on register i had a phone order under "Kim" and she began to charge me. I'm a nice person so i know i have to be respectful and always say "thank you". So i was been nice and in a great mood. The girl on register then asks me if i had one of those stamp cards for rewards. Unfortunately i didn't have mines on me. I usually have like a bunch at home though that i forget to bring in my wallet. So i made a friendly apologetic comment and said "oh no sorry, it's ok. i have a bunch at home" i smile and giggle under my mask. because it was obviously a over dramatic comment on my part. i actually have only like 4-5 stamp cards that aren't stamped all the way. but i was ok to not want a stamp card and to pass it off for this transaction. Then the girl on register gives me a stink eye! she didn't say anything right after and i didn't say anything else besides "thank you" after getting my drinks and i left. Clearly my experiences haven't changed and surely i don't think it's my fault. And in conclusion, this is why i don't like spend my money and time here. The staff isn't so friendly. I just don't think they have developed any great customer service. And think they need to be properly trained more on how to control their facial expressions even when wearing a mask. You think a mask can hide your bad expressions but you have to realize, eyes and eyebrows play a big part of your facial expressions. So i can clock a stink eye from 6 feet away. I think i've said what i needed to say tho. So overall, i bumped this 1 star to a 2 star just because the fruity pebbles milk tea is pretty good. If it wasn't for that fruity pebbles, this updates review would've stayed a 1 star. read more

1 star for location - I don't have to drive to their truck in Waikele (not even sure if they're still there). 1 star- no lines 1 star - flavors are consistent. They must have a recipe guide next to their blenders and glad the workers stick to it. 1 star - paid and got my orders within 7 minutes 1 star- just because- and even if they put too much jelly in my drink, it still tasted good. Soon as I heard there would be a Taste Tea in Ewa Beach, I was excited! We visit gram about once a week and this spot is on the way. Located near Ocean Pointe, right next to the Chinese Restaurant. It's nice inside, you could tell they fixed the spot up a bit. It's spacious inside but limited tables and chairs. Although thus location just opened, didn't seem like there were any tweaks to work through like most places. There were only two other customers so our drinks took no time at all. The parking lot looks like it could get filled especially with all other restaurants in that area. It's still new so I'm sure in no time it'll be stuffed with students! read more

Another great Boba Place other than Boba Cafe to visit in Ewa Beach! I understand that they just opened up so the indoor decor isn't yet complete. As of right now it looks like they have a cold case which will eventually hold items once they finish up. It looks as if it will be very simple. Boba is such a great thing to get especially living here in paradise since it gets really humid and hot some days. Today my girlfriend and I decided to try it out since we do live only a minute or 2 away. I hear people raving about the fruity pebbles drink that they have tried here so that's what I went with. Staff is friendly and are great at offering up what's popular on the menu. This seems to be the options that have a green leaf right next to it. Once you order you get to choose the sweetness which is nice. It goes from 0% to 50% to 100%. Knowing fruity pebbles is a very sweet breakfast cereal I decided to just go 50. Drinks came out fast and I love the cup design. It's very official. Fruity Pebbles is delicious and I recommend it to anyone who loves a sweet drink. I ordered mines with mini Boba and lychee jelly. I always order my usual winter melon milk tea with small boba and they always make it like how I want my drinks. They always makes the drinks fast.
