I can't believe I've never done a review for Teapresso Bar Kapolei. It's definitely our go to when we're at our 2nd home. Conveniently located just down the hill from mom's house. Plenty of parking that shares wi th the Chinese restaurant next door and a dental office. The building itself shares a space with. Nail salon which I always thought interesting. There's a few seats inside and as of this year they sell a few Knick knack things and have books for kids as well as board games. This visit was rather strange though we walked in and no one was at the counter. No bell to ring. We said hello a few times and we were ready to walk out. But one of the ladies from the nail salon was sitting at the table in the corner and we asked if they were open. She alerted someone in the nail salon and she came out promptly. This time around we ordered the mango sticky rice and D2 had the lava flow. I was curious about the mango sticky rice, bc it's blowing up all over the place here at various other places so I had to give it a try. I thought it was something new. Turns out it's just like mango sago that I get on the mainland. It was good though and very satisfying. Blended fresh mango, coconut milk, and mini sago pearls. D2 wasn't sure how she felt about her lava flow though. She asked what a lava flow is supposed to be and I told her coconut and strawberry. When I saw her drink it was more yellow and possibly pineapple?! She said it definitely tasted like pineapple more-so than coconut. Oh well maybe their interpretation is different. She drank it anyway and said at least she's tried it. We've been so many times I've lost count. They have a rewards system by just typing in your phone number. We've tried so many things like li hing lemonade, passion fruit slushes, coffees with egg pudding. And everything is good. read more

We stopped by here when we were surprised by the news that Yi Fang left Hawaii for good. We had an iced oolong tea that's bitter and with some tea leaves, and boba that's extremely soft and so warm that it quickly melted the ice in our drink. We couldn't finish the drink. There's nothing else to say other than we're sadder that Yi Fang is closed. S7 is your best bet now in Kapolei, or Teapresso in Ewa Beach/Ho'opili. Also, like every other Teapreaso location nowadays, they have a surcharge for paying with a credit card. We won't be back. read more

Embracing what I love is tea and I've been fortunate to have traveled and know the various types of teas and enjoy it as it's purest ways which brings me to Teapresso Bar and this Kapolei location since I'm in the area is unique as it shares its space with nail/lash salon but is very separated and is nice that there lots of parking for a quick sip. One thing about here is you're able to customize your drink and it was the Hojicha no milk no topping and light 25% sweetness and that's it and this yummy and refreshing drink is perfect on this hot Sunday morning. The staff is okay but I do love the little trinkets and snacks they have to capture you but luckily my drink was made fast so that I had no time to browse but was sad that the heat sealer was between the graphic images so I had none to smile about as these little gesture do make a difference and hope it gets adjusted as it is part of the whole vibe. I came here with a good friend and she treated me. I got a large lychee green iced twitch boba with 50 percent sugar. This drink was on point and delicious. They also sell Hello kitty stuff like stuffed animals and lens and stationary. Pretty cute. The guys working here were nice. Tables inside to enjoy your drinks. I accidentally called the wrong Teapresso but came to this location for pick up. I go in, no one is at the front. I call out, still no sign of anyone. Head to the car and let my grandma know I called the wrong location and head back inside to place her order. I could see people in the nail salon section and I definitely made eye contact with a worker sitting in one of the chairs. Despite this, it took a few minutes and me calling the store THREE times before someone actually came to the front to take my order. In total I waited 10 mins to be helped. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars was because the drink was made quickly and my grandma enjoyed it. If you're not going to have employees watching the front in person, install a chime at the door or leave a bell on the counter. No one should have to call an establishment in order to buy something while they're physically in the store. read more

How this place got an average rating of 4+ stars is beyond comprehension. The drinks are barely passable, the boba pearls were not fresh (they were hard). We requested for less ice and you can see that the drinks do not go to the top of the cup. We will not be back. read more

First time trying one of these Teapresso Bars, there is a bunch of them in the Kapolei area. Decided to give this location a try and it was just eh okays. There is much to choose from milk teas, to smoothies, and teas too! I like that there are other dairy free milk options and you can even change the sweetness level of your drink to the liking of those tastebuds ya got. Ordered two taro smoothies and I got mine with boba balls. The consistency of the smoothie was okay, a bit liquid-y..maybe a little thicker than a snicker next time so a bit more ice will do! Taste wise it's just your typical powdered taro drink mix and it wasn't anything spectacular. Just alright, and the price was eh just not worth it. It's quite warm in there although they have the ac running. When you look up to the ceiling and ac vents..it is caked with dust and maybe that's why it isn't all that chilly in there. We sat outside for the natural breeze that was perfect to our afternoon. A bit dirty inside as well, tables and chairs are sticky. There are a lot of scuff marks on the white table legs and the walls are filled with dust too. Yikes..needs some summer cleaning. Service was alright. This was my go to place for their caramel frappe. However, about a week and a half ago, I was disappointed that they did away with their points rewards program. I went there to order 3 drinks. They didn't have the screen to enter my phone number to earn points so I asked the lady do you need my number. She said no. Shocked as I was as I've had free drinks every now and then. That's how often I buy drinks from them. So I asked if they don't have the points program anymore? She said no, no more. I was bummed. I know English is not her first language but I know she understood what I was asking. Today 9/27/25, I decided to go back there because I forgot I had a gift card balance to use. The gift card was from that location and can't be used at other locations but theirs. To my surprise, I see that screen next to the cash register where to enter my phone number. So I asked the young gentlemen (he's always pleasant) if I go ahead and enter my phone number thinking maybe it's not working or something. He said yes, enter my phone number and I did. I then asked if there was ever a time where they did away with their points system and he looked at me puzzled and confused (as how I did on my last visit). He said no, not that he was aware of. I mentioned to him what happened and he was baffled too. I still love my caramel frappe drink from them however I'm not sure if I'll be returning back to this location after losing out on points or feeling deceived somehow. My favorite drink is the Pink Dragon and I've had it from multiple locations however they made it a little sweeter than most places and the syrup was stuck at the bottom. Also, zero stars for ordering through the Yelp App which is fulfilled through GrubHub. Placed my order, paid and waited for confirmation. Didn't get confirmation for 30 min, so I called and the store to see what was going on. They saw my order and said they would make it now. I asked to cancel since it was so late already but they said I would have to cancel on the app which I tried to do. I would have had to call Yelp or GrubHub which is another headache I didn't want to deal with. I'm not sure if the store is at fault for not paying attention to their online order system or if it was an issue with the App. Either way, if you decide to order online, I would call immediately after to make sure they've received it. read more

Needed a last minute pick me up before my flight back home tomorrow. I've only tried one boba place last time and we wanted to stop by quickly after an alright dinner. Asked what was popular and she recommended their signature milk tea with a blend of sweet black tea. The only thing I missed was boba. I can tell who has good boba base on cooking time and texture. National Bubble Tea Day... I was reminded by Terri in Las Vegas that April 30 is National Bubble Tea Day! I happened to be in Kapolei because I was looking for a sewing machine for my sister. I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my mom. We didn't have any issues finding parking. My mom ordered the watermelon smoothie and found it to be refreshing ! My first time at a Teaspresso! I got their teaspresso milk tea which is a combo tea that had delicious flavor. I could actually taste the tea flavor over anything else. I also got easy boba and it was very chewy and tasted of delicious honey! The texture was perfect and it sweetened my 25% sugar to the perfect amount of sweetness. It is next to Kapolei Chinese restaurant. Behind Kapolei regional park. There is a lot of parking lot but it's very tiny. Inside is very clean and organized. Staffs are all friendly and nice. There is a few people ahead of us but they take order and make very quickly. They have 2 samples of the day. I always order teapresso(black tea and hojicha mix). But this time, we tried jasmine milk tea and hokkaido milk tea. Jasmine milk tea was too plain taste. Hokkaido milk tea was too strong milk Taste.it was ok.. but I am not gonna repeat order them. As someone who used to be a regular here, it makes me sad how this place turned out. This used to be my go to spot for teas, the baristas always brewed it to perfection. I have now moved back from the continent and decided to pay them a visit. First of all, service is terrible and the store has become dreary due to the lack of staff and cleanliness. I decided to go with something simple with the honey lemon tea and it was absolutely flavorless. The only thing I changed was the sweetness to 50% and it came out watery with little to no ice. I thought it might've been a fluke but after visiting a few times after my experience has remained the same. I have come to the conclusion that I will never recommend Teapresso again. My slush had the right amount of sweetness and tart. I tried husby's drink and it was so good. We agreed it's the best PI ever ! Lol Can't wait to go back and try more of their drinks ! After seeing this place featured on the news last night (worries over a Boba shortage) I suddenly was craving a brown sugar tea. Unfortunately Ive spent enough time in Taiwan (Boba birthplace) to be a tea snob. With that said...I don't like boba! Now that Ive completely confused you back to my review. So there is parking and easy to find. Great menu with many interesting choices... but I was there for brown sugar! They were fast to take my order. I like that they can do half the sweetness which Ive never been asked before. Also I asked for only a little bit of boba and the girl behind the counter said "would you like to try coffee jelly instead?" That question was the best thing to happen to me all week! Yes please! After visiting the location in Waipahu, we were thrilled to find one in Kapolei. Although they have the same menu line up, these locations are definitely not the same. I feel the service is ok, but not over the top. It doesn't help that they completely forgot my lychee jelly! They had to pull apart the drink and add it in, it didn't quite taste the same after. We did appreciate that they had a couple of samples available, but good service is more important. read more

I liked it back then and I'm in love now that's it's down the street from where I live. Why am I in love? 1. Customer Service On our first time trying it out, we walked through the door and my husband and I were greeted right away. We were asked if this was our first time. I replied, yes. Technically it was, at this location. The worker did an awesome job explaining what they offered and what sets them apart from the rest. I didn't realize that this was the same boba place as the one located across of Ala Moana Shopping center. 2. First Fresh, Brewed-To-Order Boba Milk Tea in Hawaii. - NON-Powder This is a huge thing for me. I distain drinking drinks that has that powdery after taste. They offer fresh fruit smoothies as well. -Non-GMO -Gluten-Free 3. Free Samples Every day they offer two different drinks to try out. They also have a handful of different topping that you can try all you have to do is ask. 4. Cool place to hang out It's a good place to hang out with your family and friends. They offer free popcorn and board games to play with. 5. I'm obsessed with the GREEN TEA KIT KAT. It taste just like the Green tea kit Kat but in a frappe form. I add boba to it and add a scoop of ice cream because I'm extra ;) 6. Dole Whip Girl, you don't know what I'll do for Dole Whip. It's one of my top favorite soft serve treats. Now it's just a hop, jump, skip away from my home. Parking: It may be hard to find during the day when the other businesses are open. But I usually come at night at we find a parking near the front of the store. Other: I wish they offered more sizes. Though I just adore the Green Tea Kit Kat I can't always finish it. When you have boba with your drink and put it in the fridge it will get hard. Another thing I wish they had was Oreos. I. LOVE. Teapresso. I think I've been to all the locations (On Pi'ikoi, Ke'eaumoku, Koolina, Waipahu) When they first opened at Piikoi. I fell in love. It easily became my FAVORITE place for liquid pleasure. Now, I don't have to drive down to town to have my favorite drinks. It's Now in Kapolei!! WHOO HOO!! Where are they? Right by Kapolei Chinese Restaurant. You know, that small building near Burger King Kapolei. It's where HI Cravings and Beautiville used to be! Is it different from the other locations? The drink menu is for the most part the same. They also give samples just like the other locations. Popcorn machine and board games are also available in the café. What I love: The staff is awesome. They know their drinks, will make you sample the toppings and can answer any questions you have about their menu. Both visits we were greeted and poured samples of the original milk tea and their iced tea. Scared of milk tea? No worries, they have blended drinks, teas and coffee. So no big if you never liked the milk teas. The drinks so far has had the same quality and taste as the original location. (I actually think they make the taro milk tea better in Kapolei) So teas are brewed daily, the do NOT use powders and YES you can ask for almond milk, soy milk and even coconut milk! That customization part is why I love all the Teapresso locations. Parking is not a hassle!! They have a parking lot shared by the Orthodontic Clinic and Kapolei Chinese restaurant. So Save your dollar bills, parking is FREE! Overall, I'm super stoked that we now have a Teapresso Bar so close to home! read more
