Whenever I'm in Ewa Beach I try to stop in this place. They have some of the best concoctions. I love their specialty drinks. They also have your everyday boba drinks and smoothies. Today we got the Fresh Mango and Horchata Cheesecake. They were both good, but different. The Horchata Cheesecake was sweet and creamy. The Fresh Mango was made with fresh fruit, so it was on the tangy side. The li hing and mango stars gave the drink a pop. Prices have gone up a little. The small smoothies are $7 and the large are $8. The specialty drinks are around $15. We spent $30 for the Fresh Mango and Horchata Cheesecake. For the specialty drinks they charge for every add on, so it adds up fast.
Yesterday I tried Boba Cafe for the first time after a friend recommended it--and I'm so glad I did! Hands down the best boba drink I've ever had. The women behind counter was very sweet! I got a taro smoothie with Thai walls, boba, and ube ice cream... SO good! Definitely recommending this spot to my family and friends!
I gotta say this is the first boba shop I ever tried that offers a variety of drink flavors and toppings. You can create so many different drinks with the options they offer. This is dessert in a cup! The drink we tried was honey dew cream and I gotta say it was pretty good. I compare it to a Melona ice cream bar. The only negative thing is the mochi tasted stale and the boba was a bit tough. Service was okay pretty fast despite a huge party ahead of us. With ample seating inside and out it's a great place to catch up with friends while sipping on a sweet treat!
They just celebrated 10 years! Ample enough parking. Good variety of drinks with concoctions I've not seen elsewhere. More than just drinks too. My daughter loves it here. Clean shop with enough seating. Affordable.
I was craving Boba and wanted to try the new Mango Sticky Rice drink. I asked my kids what they wanted too and here we are $60 later with 4 drinks and all the toppings- We got Ubebeh, Oreo, Taro and Mango Sticky Rice. The Mango Sticky Rice was really good, there is Mango Ice Cream; along with Coconut Milk and Purple Rice. The hard part was trying to drink the rice, you have to drink it carefully or it'll go straight to the back of your throat and you'll end up choking. I would recommend consuming this drink with a spoon.
I love the idea of this place. You can customize your boba drink starting from either slushy or some kind of milk tea. From there, you choose your toppings, boba type, added walls, ice cream and the list goes on. You can also adjust your desired sweetness for each drink which lowers the sugar content. The only downside is that it is extremely expensive for what it is. I think one of my drinks was well over $12. One drink was a little under $10, pretty basic and not good at all. The shop is small and great for kids. The service is friendly and helpful with recommendations. I would listen to them more next time. For example the drinks I tried were: Blended Thai tea with Pandan walls, boba , and Thai tea ice cream. (Highly recommend) Apple slushi with boba and topped with nerds candy (Not good at all or worth the steep price) Blended Taro Milk Tea with Thai walls, haupia, mochi. In short, I recommend for the milk teas when you're craving something more complex in flavor with the added walls and toppings.
This boba shop feels very comfy and home-y. They make you feel like you're part of their family. The cashiers are all friendly and they listen to what you want and suggest drinks if you're having a hard time deciding. They offer desserts like flan, haupia, taro and banana and sweet potato tapioca pudding. One of the best boba shops on the island! Can't wait to come back and visit the boba family

We ordered a bunch of different drinks. All good flavors to choose from and you can adjust the sweetness level. There are 6 of us and the inside of the area gets packed quickly especially the more customers that came in. It's more narrow than wide. There are chairs and tables which can only really sit 2 at each one. Good thing is that they do offer seating outside. The owner, who was also taking our order, has the face that says "hurry up already". But seems friendly with those who she knows. So if there is anything that needs to change it would be that. No one likes to feel like their business isn't wanted. The 4 stars are for the drinks.
Mmm the drinks here are delicious and so refreshing! I really want to come back to try the mango sticky rice and other unique drink combinations. A homey, family-oriented shop where they play movies that the family can enjoy while they hang out and chill, enjoying the drinks. So friendly and they offer to help you with flavor recommendations if you have a hard time choosing with all the choices. Highly recommend!
Today we visited boba cafe for the first time! There were so many choices I had a hard time deciding but went with the Thai blended tea with boba. It was so delicious!! The lady who made our tea was so friendly and gave us many good suggestions of what to order! The shop was also decorated so cute and had lots of seating. There are also tables outside to enjoy boba in the fresh air. I can't wait to come back again and try something new. The menu has so many tasty items!!

Love the different drinks!! Follow " Boba Cafe " on instagram for more updates. Drinks are not water down and I would call ahead of time because it can get busy sometimes because there drinks are delic. Service is very good, and the inside is small would recommend drink in the car or on the way home. They have a tv to watch movies and different toppings you can put on your teas and smoothed check it out!!!! read more
I needed to wait for my ride, so why not get a treat to fill the time? I was so excited to see that they had a coconut & pandan drink. "Coconuty w/pandan." Yummmy!! I decided to get a drink for my hubby, so I got him the lihing calamansi slush. He really enjoyed it. You can watch the fish they have for sale while waiting for your order. I'm glad that there were tables outside that I could sit at and enjoy my drink while waiting for my hubs. read more

Yes, you CAN fall in love with a drink at first sight....and taste!! I did not expect this ube cheesecake to look so cheerful and taste so YUMMY!! Definitely coming back to try the Meilene Special! Service was friendly and attentive. read more
Boba Cafe located near 'Ilima Elementary School is a family-owned boba shop with its popularity expanding to all families around the island. They serve up an array of drinks ranging from milk teas, fresh fruit smoothies, and some cool crazy ones. Their boba balls are soft and chewy and delicious. My favorite drink is their Frozen Hot Chocolate with Boba. They have a ton of seating both indoor and outdoor. Be weary! This shop does get busy on weekdays at around 2:30pm because it is a popular destination for the kids after they are pau with school. The reason for the 4 stars is just because there are better boba spots on island. BUT the homeyness of this place has as well as the customer service they provide is the reason I just keep coming back. read more

I came here today to try to give them another try thinking maybe it's better. NOPE! Still ripping off for 2 small boba's it was $27 and some change. There is no set price list and the lady in the front taking to orders is very rude no smiling no welcome. The wait is forever and majority of the customers are young students. Please if your child comes here after school make sure they aren't ripping off your children. Some kids don't pay attention to change and I feel like this business takes advantage of the children getting an after school refreshment by charging outrageous prices!! So sad read more
Convenient spot in Ewa to spill the tea... Celebrating having a bestie is the reason I know so much about Ewa though it's been awhile and prior to finding the love all things tea. Boba Cafe is a bright spot from what I'm told way back and the spot the area locals love so you know I had to give them some love. It's not totally my cup of tea as I'm more a purist and here there's certainly a lot of selection though only with green or black and after requesting my favorite Wintermelon they asked for green or black tea...huh!?! They also have Milk Teas, Smoothies and all seems to be syrup flavored along with fun toppings like various cereals, mini marshmallows, tajin and even nerds I can see why it's a favorite with the crowds. I did get the Wintermelon Tea with Black Tea and Coconut Jelly and BunBun was thirsty on this hot day so we slurped it all up, they do have some seating indoors as well so I did take a moment to take advantage of that and they do have two doors and one facing the parking is the exit you enter the one facing the sidewalk. Lovely cafe taking care of the community with a cool sip. Thank you! read more
I hardly drive through Ewa Beach, but after retiring, my friend and I are revisiting places I hardly had time to go. The farthest I drove in Ewa Beach is Queens west, so it was an adventure for me to drive further in to see how much it has grown. We found this little gem across the street from Longs, next to right next to Ilima Intermediate School. Watermelon smoothie - 5 stars - not many places offer fresh watermelon smoothies (most serve only with synthetic watermelon syrup), and previously, the only place I could find was in Chinatown, but now I have found a place on the Leeward side to get my fix. Almost all drinks here come with free Boba. So refreshing and not too sweet, I enjoyed this Boba drink. Service - very friendly and patient as I always have a hard time deciding what I want. Parking lot on the side, but sometimes limited. However, if you go between 2 - 4pm, you'll get an influx of middle school kids. Fortunately, I bought this right before school ended. read more
I had the large strawberry fruit smoothie with boba. It was delicious. It was reasonably priced and I'll definitely go back. There are many items to choose from and I'm sure they'll have something you'll like. Service was fast and the place was clean and cool. read more

This spot in Ewa Beach has a huge menu option of mostly smoothies with a myriad of topping options. I had no idea what i wanted going into it, but I told the worker that I was trying to hit all the boba shops to rate them on my tiktok and instagram, and she proceeded to help me choose a drink for about 7 minutes because i was super indecisive and had questions about literally everything. Jen was super patient with me and told me the prices and ingredients of each of the many drinks I asked about. In the end she suggested the Mars Special, which was an avocado and ube-based smoothie with a variety of colorful toppings like condensed milk walls, haupia pudding, sprinkles, and ube ice cream. The drink came out to about $11 (but I think she might've discounted it for me bc she felt bad since I kept asking about the prices and kept saying no to all the expensive options LOL) for the small so it is VERY pricey but with all the toppings it makes sense. She suggested getting it less sweet, which was a good call because with the sugar level cut in half, it was perfect. Any sweeter and I think i would've had a hard time driving home ahaha the drink was done in about 5 minutes and it was very very VERY colorful - like a unicorn coughed up a double rainbow in a cup. The drink itself was pretty good - thick and creamy from the avocado with lots of sugary goodness coming from the ube, ice cream, condensed milk and haupia. The sprinkles, haupia and boba all gave it different textures which was super interesting, and despite the appearance, again, with the sugar cut in half it was drinkable. As much as I wanted to finish my $11 drink, I knew if I consumed this entire cup i'd probably never wanna ingest sugar ever again, so I gave the other half to my sister, who said she froze it to make it into an ice cream consistency! Overall it's not a place that I'd go back to often, especially since it's so far, but I really appreciate the worker being so patient with me, and I do love how many options there are and that you can customize it literally however you want. Ask about the secret menu items like the Ubebeh, the Bretman Rock Special (acai based), Chocolate Strawberry (inspired by Bretman's sister), and Red Velvet. read more

Made my way to Boba Cafe today, deep down into the South... my old stomping grounds! Located in the Ewa Beach Professional Center, next to H&R Block and slightly past Burger King. Boba Cafe had been bookmarked by me since the onset of Bretman Rock's reign, when he and his sister frequented this boba spot a lot. Bretman really put Ewa Beach on the map... or maybe Braxton Olita did? LOL I'm getting ahead of myself. Making it through into this parking area can be a chore. Not much spaces for the amount of businesses. And if memory serves me correctly, it's only a one way, so you may have to circle back out to the main street and reenter if the lot is full. Luckily we came at a good time and was able to secure an immediate spot. The storefront wasn't inundated either, just a couple people who were waiting outside for their drinks. They've adopted a one entrance and one exit system, so make sure you follow the signage. For SA, the door fronting the main street is the entrance and the door facing the parking is the exit. Additionally, only one party is allowed in the establishment at a time and after you place your order, you will have to wait outdoors for your number to be called. We got an iced black raspberry tea with passionfruit jelly, avocado smoothie with avocado ice cream and boba, and of course, the Ubebeh. I thought I was setting myself up for failure with that one lol, considering how sweet you'd assume it to be since so much add-ins goes into it. But it actually wasn't too intense. Wish there was a smaller size though, they only have two choices to choose from. Good experience overall. Would consider returning to try other options. read more

I'm writing this review partially from my mom who is pictured here... this is HER BOBA SPOT! For reference we drive all the way to Ewa from a different part of the island just for their drinks. Her favorite and go-to is a large lychee smoothie with lychee jelly. It's so sweet because even the owner knows her and knows her order. She's wonderful by the way, always sweet and friendly every time we stop by. The rest of the staff is also very nice and very quick with making our drinks. Their drinks are delicious and the boba is good every time. Can't recommend enough, as we will continue making the trip whenever we can. read more

The drive to this boba spot is 100% worth it, it's delicious! My friend recommended this place to me last May and it did not disappoint. I had to come back again this month when I was in Hawaii. The boba was the perfect amount of chewy and sweet. The drink that caught my attention was the Calamansi slush. Calamansi is my favorite fruit- I automatically have to get it whenever it's available. Drinking the slush reminded me of being back in the Philippines: that's how fresh the drink was. On this last visit we got to speak to one of the ladies who told us that they squeeze each calamansi by hand to make their juices and slushes - that's why it's so good and fresh/tastes just like the Philippines. It's a must go to and I'll definitely be back. I always want to try the other drinks but I can't resist the calamansi drink. I guess I'll have to get two drinks the next time I visit! read more
Best boba drinks ever!! Very nice staff, always clean and fast when I visit. When I want a bomb drink and willing to splurge hands down I'm always here! I usually walk out of here spending $11+ on a drink because all the toppings. I've never had a plain boba drink before, I don't plan on it lol. Check their Instagram for their cute drinks. My go to is the Ubehbeh. Only thing is I wish they were open on sundays. read more
I was in the area and decided it was time to finally visit this boba shop. I found a parking stall right in front and there was no line...score! I went inside and found an extensive menu of different drinks and toppings. I also saw a tv screen showcasing a variety of specialty drinks, which looked similar to the ones I've seen on Insta. There were some that I found interesting, but each drink only lasted for a few seconds on the screen. As soon as I found one I liked, it moved on to the next drink. Maybe having a printed menu of these specialty drinks would be easier? After watching the screen for a couple of minutes, I asked the kind worker about what types of ube drinks they have. She told me that ube was their flavor of ice cream and it could be added to any drink. She also told me that their honeydew boba was their most popular drink. I remembered that I saw a drink called Ubebeh so I ordered that one instead. I really wanted a drink that was original to this boba shop and I couldn't really find someplace else. This drink was definitely special! I can't remember all the toppings it had but it looked and tasted really good! It was a bit pricey ($12!) but it did make me really full. Overall, this was a fun drink to try although I'm not sure if I would order this particular drink again. I'd definitely have to do more research next time. read more
I haven't been here since I was maybe in high school but I saw a drink on their Instagram that caught my eye so I knew I had to go back to try it. I went on a Saturday afternoon and no one was there, but I know weekdays after school gets pretty crowded with all the kids getting their boba fix. The drink I tried was the "Ubebeh" and all I did was showed the cashier a picture of the drink. The drink is an ube smoothie with marshmallow and thai (condensed milk) walls with haupia chunks, boba, and ube ice cream covered in a birthday cake shell on top. The drink rang up to roughly $9 which I was a little surprised at how expensive it was but remembered it came with all of that toppings and additions. Honestly, it was really good, and would get it again. Definitely a treat yourself type of drink if you wanna splurge. I will say the lady who was the cashier wasn't very welcoming. I asked her a question about the drink and her tone just sounded kinda irritated. But, if you're looking for some crazy drink combos, this is the place to go! read more

Haven't been to this place in a while, but my friend keeps posting this place so I decided to finally go back. Bf likes to look at the menu/pics before we go in so we did that. There's so many unique drinks, but I don't know what's in them... I saw one called Gabby's special, but wanted to know what is in a Gabby's special. I tried looking on Yelp and Instagram, but couldn't find descriptions (sad face emoji). We got there and they have a tv with some of the drinks and what is included (everything is an additional price). Gabby's special wasn't on the tv so I finally asked the cashier what's in it, which was something like a strawberry chocolate chip smoothie, a bit of strawberries walls, topped with chunks of strawberries and vanilla gelato with the chocolate hard shell. Gabby's special is super DEEEELISSSH!!! Thank Gabby!!! Bf got the Oreo special, which is pretty much a Oreo smoothie topped with Oreo and Oreo bits and vanilla gelato with the chocolate hard shell. The Oreo special is also really good (thumbs up emoji)! Can't wait to go back and try other concoctions! read more
