I decided to swing by since I was in the area and looking for some cake...no they don't have cake here but they do have cupcake lol and it was for a event that Fishcake in Kaka'ako had was "Take one leave one...but make it cake". Where we trade trinkets and bring cake where they provided plates and utensils but we had to cut the cake so instead I thought of bringing something already cut for convenience Banana Bread :) oh yes and with chocolate chips it was either that or cupcakes, brownies or cookies lol why bother stray from the usual and bring a yummy treat. Well that have that and so much more than I realize if it was cupcakes it would probably be green tea, lilikoi, pistachio...maybe strawberry lemonade or German chocolate omg the selection is quite incredible and I wasn't prepared for it. The staff is very helpful and friendly with all our questions and I love that everything is at your convenience to see without asking and with lots of free parking getting here is easy and yes a piece of cake. Was hoping this place was good. Bought a red velvet and pumpkin crunch. $8.59 a piece the red velvet was super dry and almost crunchy. I couldn't finish it because it was that bad. My husband and I enjoy coming here for a sweet treat every now and then, only thing is they close early at 4pm everyday so we do make sure to buy a bunch to last us a while since we can't make it here sometimes due to work. My favorite flavor is the banana chantilly (omg it's sooo good) but everything else I've tried I've also really liked. We ordered birthday cakes twice for my daughter's birthday and they have come out soo soo cute! I like the fact that I could ask them for a "no dyes" option since my mom friends and I don't like giving those to our kids. This bakery delivered one of the worst customer experiences we have ever had. We paid for delivery well in advance, confirmed every detail, and even stopped by weeks before the wedding to drop off our topper. Despite all of that, they made our wedding cake but never delivered it. Their failure left us with no cake at our own wedding, robbing us of an important moment we will never get back and leaving my wife on the verge of tears on our wedding day. When we called the day after the wedding--because the bakery was closed at the time of our event--the owner admitted he had no excuse and simply forgot to deliver our cake. He refunded our money and handed us the cake, but by then it was far too late to matter. And even then, the cake was made incorrectly and not what we ordered. They reversed the fillings between the tiers, so every section had the wrong flavor. A bakery that forgets to deliver a paid‑for, confirmed wedding cake--and then produces the wrong cake afterward--is not just unreliable, it's unacceptable. A refund does not undo the damage or restore the memories we lost. We strongly urge anyone planning a wedding or important event to avoid this bakery entirely. read more

I was debating on writing this review because I love this place so much, I want to gatekeep. But this bakery is too good to keep a secret! I have fond memories of my mom bringing me here when I was younger and now I get to bring my husband and our children! We've come full circle and I love it! Upon walking in, they have a fridge on the left wall and ice cream in the front. On the right side, there's a bunch of baked goods -- get the rainbow shortbread and thank me later. Toward the front, there's a cashier along with a menu, custom cake order forms and all the cupcake varieties! A few of our favorites; Pistachio Salted Caramel Guava Carrot No matter what flavor you get, you can count on the cupcake being moist and fluffy. These go into my favorite dessert category of "sweet but not too sweet". They don't sit heavy either, and my kids do not get a sugar rush with these. The staff is super friendly and helpful! They're also very patient when it comes to indecisiveness. All our experiences here have been pleasant. Just walking in and seeing how beautiful the baked goods are makes us smile! read more

We happened to find this place as we were shopping in the area. We walked in the day before our son's party and were greeted by the friendly staff. They did advise us to make sure to come in early the next day to ensure we get a few of their ube cupcakes since they are known to sell out fast. We came back that next morning and as promised.. we were able to order some ube cupcakes in addition to guava, lilikoi, and chocolate chantilly. The cupcakes were delicious and everyone loved them especially our son. He enjoyed his ube cupcake and even asked for a second one. If I could give them more stars I absolutely would!! Currently pregnant and needed something quick for an intimate gender reveal we were doing at home with my family. I walked in and Alyssa was the girl at the counter. I told her I was pregnant and I needed cupcakes to do a small gender reveal. Without hesitation she absolutely I can do those for you! I wanted to cry lol she asked how many I wanted and the flavor cupcake I would like. I told her vanilla and if she could put either blue or pink frosting in the middle of the cupcakes and she said she could do that for me. I asked for 6 cupcakes and she said she would add white frosting in the top and just rainbow sprinkles on them. I also had asked her for a favor if she could take my phone and see what the gender of baby was and thank goodness she was able to and she closed out my browser on my phone so I wouldn't take any peeks lol she took maybe less than 15 mins to make my cupcakes and they were so perfect! I asked my son what kind of cake he wanted for his 13th birthday and he said "whatever" so I decided to go to cupcake and things for a 12 pack variety cupcakes. All the cupcakes looked so good. I got 2 Sundaes, Peanut Butter, S'Mores, Chantilly, Cookie Butter, Chocolate Rainbow, Strawberry, Boston Cream, Coconut, Red Velvet and Pistachio. I was bummed they ran out of Tutti Frutti though. My FAVORITE dessert place. My recent visit was the strawberry Boston and a pistachio cream cheese cake. Both are delicious, just as I expected it to be. The strawberry cake was soft and moist , not dry. The cream was creamy and not overly sweet. The strawberry topping was a little sweet/sour but with the light whipped cream frosting it was perfectly balanced. The pistachio cream cheese was thick and creamy, and not overly pistachio flavored (like some other places). I am Definitely not sharing, as that's how delicious it was. My daughter and I saw this next to a boba place. OMG! What a treat. We saw all the cupcakes inside in different flavors. Some your typical flavors and others not, more local flavors. I saw some mango bread loaf. Looked delicious. It was so moist and a hint of mango. Not too sweet. As for the cupcakes, my daughter picked out mint chocolate and peanut butter. I got the marble and mango flavor. The marble was delicious. It wasn't super sweet which is what I prefer. The cupcakes were so moist. So delicious. My daughter also got a sponge bob ice cream she saw in the frozen ice cream section. She said it was good. A new favorite place for us to get cupcakes. The guy who rang us up was very nice. Neither of us could remember buying anything from them. It's a nice store. They had a nice selection of cupcakes and cookies. The Rainbow shortbread cookies caught her eyes. While going to the cashier, she saw the pineapple upside-down cake. We picked that up also. The Rainbow cookies are pretty to look at but were lacking a good short bread taste. I thought it was also soggy. The upside-down cake didn't do that well either. The pineapple ring was tough. The yellow cake was a little dry. Glaze had a good consistency, but flavor just average. He also gave me his personal number to text him a photo of the different colors of blue that I wanted incorporated into the frosting. He said it was no problem and I was very happy to have found someone who could help me. The price was about $100 which seemed about average compared to other cupcake businesses.
