The female who took my order was so nice and let me know that they still had the peppermint syrup. Normally, this flavor is gone right after the holiday season but they still had it and I was elated! The only reason I give the ambiance 3 stars is because this location can get tricky to access with the parking lot being so congested. Pearl City said that they're one of the last stores to receive merchandise and that Kapolei gets shipments first! Really??? I went to ask about the new Tokidoki collaboration... They didn't know anything about it. I showed them the posts and emails from the mainland... they said that Hawaii is behind by maybe two months? I was advised to check the CBTL Hawaii Instagram page. Wow. Okay... since I'm there and it's the weekly Thursday promotion in August, I will try a Caramel Mocha Ice Blended drink. It was delicious... especially because it was a hot summer (August) day! It's ridiculous that this location refuses to honor the rewards and programs offered on the mainland. If you're not going to abide by the same programs as the rest of the U.S., then why even brand yourself under the same name? From my perspective, this is a complete failure to honor the standards of the franchise you're operating under. I drove out of my way just to grab a coffee here, expecting the same consistency I've experienced elsewhere, only to be disappointed. You can make all the excuses you want, but it comes across as laziness or a lack of commitment to the brand. Hawaii deserves better than this. I like coming here for drinks. My favorite is the plantation iced tea. One visit they didn't have it so I got the mango iced tea. This was delicious. Too much ice in my drink though. I honestly have no problems when I come here, the workers are always so sweet and very quick when working! But, I came in today for 3 drinks. The girl Emily, was helping me was very rude. She had an attitude since she took my order. I had asked her if I was able to redeem my stamp card the same time it got fully stamped, which I didn't know I couldn't. And she answered with slight attitude. I brushed it off because I know what it's like to work in food industry so I figured she might've just had a bad shift so I tried being understanding. It wasn't until she passed my drinks out. I ordered no whip in one pure chocolate and there was whip placed so I kindly asked and said "I'm so sorry but I asked for no whip in this one." I wanted to like this, but they don't offer whole milk as an option so having coffee with skim milk really didn't taste that great. I understand the concept because milk is expensive, but I wasn't expecting it to be just okay. The coffee was average tasting, nothing special. It was a decent price given the size, but the flavors didn't stand up to my liking. Outside of the just alright coffee, the staff was very friendly and the service was quick. They didn't waste time making it. It was nice and clean inside too for being in a popular mall. January 27,2023 - Friday Braxton is definitely a great barista because I really don't drink coffee we went for one of my besties since she was heading to work so she needed her coffee intake. Just a group of people was inside sitting & it seemed like a business meeting as well. Since I was just checking the menu I noticed they served Lemonade, which I was thinking OMG I can get something to drink. Since I couldn't figure out what Lemonade drink I wanted, the barista actually offered us that he can make our drinks. Since I couldn't decided I wanted the strawberry & Li Hing Lemonade. Which was amazing & he even asked if I wanted seeds in it as well. Drinks came out quickly & I like this location since the icee is like small & easier to eat. Overall, my drank was tasty & I wouldn't go to any other location since I did try the one at Malama in Makakilo & it's NOT THE SAME. Check them out if you get Braxton let him whip up your drank! On this day, I ordered a Sea Salt Caramel Latte. I forgot to say extra hot but it was still good. I did not make any modifications and the coffee to milk ratio was perfect. Some places put too much milk or make it extra bitter. The service was good. The employees were courteous and thanked me for coming in. This is our go to location because it's located the closest to our house. The store is always clean when you walk in and you always get greeted with a smile and a hello once you walk into the door. Today we ordered a extra large sweet tea, extra large mango lemonade and a small cookies and cream (no coffee). Our drinks came out in a timely manner. Because we walked to the mall, we were able to order our drinks and have a seat for a few minutes before walking back home. Lots of chairs inside the store. They also have a variety of merchandise that they sell. From flasks to cute little cups. Next to the merchandise they also have a variety of desserts. I always prefer CBTL over the other guys! I just wish there were more locations to compete, otherwise I wouldn't even be visiting THEM. So, literally on the west side that I know of, there's Makakilo, Kapolei Foodland, Ka Makana, and Ewa Foodland locations. Pearl City drive through would be the next closest to me (Mililani)... Where's the Central Oahu love? Pupukea is not close enough! Please get in the Mililani Foodland! Anyways, this location is really nice. Spacious, lots of comfy looking seating, noise level to a minimum. Also, located in the food court area so bathrooms are nearby. I ordered the seasonal chocolate and mint ice blended with and extra shot of espresso. I'm not a mint fan but decided on giving it another shot (pun intended). It was so good I came back the next day. The mint wasn't strong, which I like, and the chocolate was balanced out with the coffee taste from the espresso shot. I hope this isn't just seasonal. So hard not to keep coming back for these. There wasn't a line but they also made it fairly quickly. Staff was great at answering whatever questions I had. And fyi.
