I paired it with a warmed up banana bread and a breakfast croissant sandwich. I really liked that croissant bread. It was the first time I've ever tried it, and I really liked the texture. This was a nice change to my usual McDonald's breakfast. I will definitely be back. It also unlocked a new check-in reward, which got me so happy because I was wondering when I would get a new one. I agree with other reviewers. First of all, it's not actually a Starbucks so you can't use your app there. Secondly, they don't sell ground coffee (!) so if you need it for your condo, find another place. As we spent the afternoon doing what she would do to celebrate her mom's birthday and just talked and caught up on it all what she would do is get that birthday drink! It already was late for a Sunday as many other shops are already closed I Yelped location which took me here Kapolei Parkway right across Costco sharing neighbors like McDonald's and Home Depot and I thought it was closed as well as in out of business because all of the letter of their sign is gone! No one was in there but I can see the light on I've never seen one without a sign just the outline of what once was a sign lol! We went in and was very lovely open and lovely decor, we were delightfully greeted by a gentleman and of course we ordered at the counter but for some reason they couldn't find her birthday reward to comp her drink as we tried and tried by then her drink was done and the sweet man says "it's okay we believe you it's on us!" I personally have always ordered my drink using the app as I usually know where I'm going but on this day we certainly didn't but what a sweet kind gesture and we did sit and enjoy our sips which later she found it and showed it to them and still got the reply of no problem you're okay! As we left he again wished her a Happy Birthday and indeed it was as just a simple act of kindness means more than they will ever know as this trip to Hawai'i is a vacay but so much more and a smile is worth a thousand hugs! I really can't stand Starbucks. Their drinks are terrible tasting (to-me). It taste like mostly artificial syrup, stale coffee, and a lot of milk. Really I've noticed a massive change in these coffee chains. These are just my opinions and I think it shouldn't deter someone just because it is my personal preference. However, if you are a fan of Starbucks, this is a great location. They push orders out quickly, have an extensive menu, a decent amount of seating area, drive through moves well, and they used to prioritize drive-thru orders (it felt like that anyway) but it's balanced now. I ordered a fruit and cheese platter. No coffee to make. No food to warm up. Because they don't have a walk up refrigerator , like other Starbucks, I had to wait for my platter tray. Compared to just grab and go, this was not ideal. The other thing about looking at a tray to pick is that I can see if my fruit is old and choose. This is by far always my favorite Starbucks to go to. They are always fast despite how long their line can be and today proved this even more. It was the red holiday cup day so the line was pretty long but it moved quickly. The staff is always very nice and when I asked her if I could make two separate orders so I could get a cup for my coworker as well, she mentioned to me that I was able to get as many holiday drinks as I want and she would give me the same amount of cups. I appreciate her telling me that because I wouldn't have known. Even when I go on a normal day, the staff is always so friendly and they're way faster than other Starbucks. Located in a complex next to Home Depot, This Starbucks drive through is my definite "go-to." 90% of the time, the line moves quickly, the staff is friendly & gets my drinks order right. It's only recent visits that my drinks were wrong and they weren't so nice (I'm assuming it's someone new but they'll catch on to the culture quick, because I love the vibes here). They did offer to remake my drink but I was in a time crunch. I'll definitely be returning for the convenience of the drive through and how well the drinks are made / taste here compared to other Starbucks locations. If I make a purchase at one store and then go to another store, I should be able to ask and receive a cup of water. If a person asks for a cup of water, they must make a purchase. What if they are homeless and have no money? Do you allow them to skip their medication? It's hot in Hawaii, and Starbucks should have a courtesy cup of water. Your policy no longer promotes the use of environmentally friendly, waste-friendly methods. Previously, you would give people coffee grounds when they asked for them, if they were available. I've been here several times before but this review is about my most recent visit. I wanted to pick up a fruit/vegetable juice on my way to work so I thought Starbucks would be the most convenient to get one from because I have bought juices from there before. When I got there, the refrigerated section was pretty empty. I only saw one juice which I didn't want. Then I ask the worker if they had bananas since I didn't see any out. Another worker stepped in and said they probably don't have any good ones so the other worker checked and she confirmed. I haven't ever been to any Starbucks that didn't have any fruit available and I've been to a lot of stores. I left with getting nothing and wasted my time. I have only been to this location twice since I just recently found out about it. It is funny coz I am always in this area. I have tried the lobby and drive thru, both ordered thru the mobile app. Both times, I received great customer service, they got my order right and super quick. I mean, I was the only customer too in the lobby as well as when I used the drive thru. One thing to point during my first visit, the lobby was not very well maintained. Also, there were tables that need to be cleaned. The floor looked like it needed moping. Starbucks at this location is very disappointing. This is the second time that this has happened to us. Ordered the iced match tea latte. Received the drink and it is terribly on the light side. Get home to notice that top part of the drink was just foam. We let the drink settle for a little while and this is the end result. Not one sip was taken from this drink. That is definitely not Starbucks quality. Let's try a little better Starbucks. Especially for the amount you are charging. read more

So...this Starbucks was closed for a while for renovations and now that I've gone since they've reopened I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I heard that it was very different since the renovations but figured I should give it a try before passing any judgement. Cutting straight to the chase: Heavily reduced seating (maybe five or six can sit at once which is pretty sad compared to how much seating was in this starbucks pre renovation), no outlet access, and much of the previous staff are gone. The drinks are pretty much what you expect from starbucks. My sentimental review though is pretty sad. This used to be a very spacious place with lots of seating and a nice walkway/waiting area when ordering drinks. The renovations took away pretty much all of the "lounging" space in favor of a massive counter primarily dedicated to drive-thru orders. This store has seating but it clearly doesn't want you to actually sit--the tables are small, the chairs are pretty uncomfortable, and they've taken away all outlet access. Besides that, the three tables can seat maybe five people at a time which is sad compared to how many people could comfortably fit into this store pre-reno. Besides that, if the tables are full there's no comfortable place to stand to wait for your order if ordering at the counter. Furthermore, the tables are situated near the most foot-traffic so it wouldn't be the best in a rush anyway. Overall, this does make me a bit sad. I remember seeing many of the same people coming in and out of here to do work, take a break, etc and that just isn't conducive to the new environment of this starbucks. Much of the previous staff is also gone which really takes away from what I used to like about this place--that is, a comfortable space to get some work done and drink some coffee/eat a snack. I know that Starbucks used to previously advertise itself as a third place but that this changed in more recent times. I've never really liked Starbucks--the price point can get ridiculous and I could probably make some of this stuff at home--but I always have work that needs to get done and i'm willing to spend some money while I take advantage of the change of scenery. It's clear to me that the Starbucks company is choosing to prioritize mobile ordering and drive-thru speed. Might as well just close the storefront and make it drive-thru only if they hate customers so much ‍ It's all pretty depressing, time to find a new cafe! read more

Can't go wrong with coffee or an iced tea refresher...even in the afternoon lol. They have a drive thru and an outdoor seating area. We came in and there was no line. Staff was friendly. I got my usual pink drink and it was delicious as usual. Chairs and tables inside were stacked.. It was very windy outside, to the point where we put down the umbrella so it wouldn't fly away. I had to put my foot on the base to hold it down too. This Starbucks is located across Home Depot. I have to say it is different now I went there today between 9:30 to 10 AM in the morning and I haven't slept all night. I needed a coffee and a bottle of water so badly and this person still in training working as a cashier took my order and then walked away and didn't even bother to hand me a water bottle they were not even busy I ended up waiting for a bottle of water longer than my coffee. However, I ask the person that was training him can I have a water bottle? And he asked me oh did you order online? I'm like no I just ordered it just now right in front of you. I'm like what the fuck that's because they were too busy talking instead of paying attention to the customer. And the funny thing is the refrigerator that contains the water bottles is right underneath the cash register. however, this person is the same person who had given me bad service when he worked at the one by the gas station too, I think I'm going to stop going there from now on and the drink is not as good as before anymore. I prefer this Kapolei starbucks better than the new one just because the service is faster, and the baristas are really kind and nice! Staff are very welcoming! The drive thru is always full but it's way faster than you think. I ordered and always ordered the bacon gouda and cheese danish and those were really good! A drink I always order is the dragon fruit with a splash of milk, and they've never messed it up once especially when I go there all the time in the morning to get a quick nice and refreshing drink! The seating is nice just because the cafe is kind of small. I really like it in there it really sooths me up in the morning. The starbuck's cups they sell there look really nice but expensive at the same time. They are really busy in the morning rather than in the afternoon or during nighttime. Overall 9/10! read more

Apparently the manager wasnt having a great day today. She took our order and they were out of "venti iced cups" and was being rude through the intercom. All I asked was if she could put it into a hot venti cup and she said, "No kuz we're running out of cups right now" and very rudely might I add And she was a white lady. So we sit in their very lengthy drive thru line craving a strawberry acai refresher. When I say lengthy line, good 30 minute + wait. Get there to order and boom they are all out. Ok, it happens, right? So we then switch it up for a Caramel brûlée latte. Boom, out of it too! Seriously?
