I don't even know where to start! From the appetizers to the food. Everything was spot on and fresh! They had extraordinary food combinations that would definitely open your eyes and taste buds. The setting of the restaurant was very fresh. You have a great view of the golf course and Light breeze that comes in once a while. Service was excellent. None of us at the table had to ask for our drink to be refilled. It was great!

Walked in party of 5 at 5 knowing they close at 6pm thinking sorry for being one of those customers that come in last minute. The view was nice. Staff is awesome, food came out quick and everything we ordered was good. The ube cheesecake was so good, glad we ordered it! Can't wait to come back to try everything else. And I'm happy it's minutes away from home.

You will spend more than the average to eat here, but I believe you get more than just the food/drink, you get the atmosphere as well. One thing I will say that not too many people know about, is that they have a kids menu! Every choice on there is $10 each. When I do end up bringing my babies on Bible study nights, I order them the sausage, eggs, and rice plate or the nuggets. Portions are great, enough to feed an adult, let alone a child. On average for a date, you'd pay about $80-$100 total depending what you order. But it's worth it and it's not an everyday thing. Also check out the shaved ice and ice cream! I haven't tried it just yet, but I heard it's pretty good.

Their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad is my absolute go-to every single time--so fresh and consistently delicious. If you're craving something heartier, the Wagyu Burger is another absolute must-have. To wash it all down, they have a wide array of coffee and teas, but you have to try their Vintage Kona Mocha--it's amazing. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that all of it can get pretty pricey, and it definitely gets super busy and crowded on the weekends. But for the flavor and drink selection, it's still worth the wait!

The spot is small and can accomodate a small amount of people so be prepared to wait or you can place an order to go. If you want your food to go just give them a call first so that you're food is ready when you get there! Here's what we tried and we HIGHLY REC all of these dishes! The fried chicken was AMAZING! So crispy and juicy and flavorful! The mash and gravy was a great side that came with the chicken as well. The chicken and waffles were soooo delish and I highly rec upgrading the plate to the ube waffles! Last but not least the prime rib loco moco was mouth watering and so good! The prime rib was HUGE!!! If you want this dish make sure you go in the morning because they do run out!!! Next time we're on Oahu we're def hitting up Guieb again!!!

Dining area is on the smaller side (maybe 6 tables & bar seating). I ordered the Wagyu Loco Moco ($18) and added fried rice ($2 extra). Wagyu patty was okay, not very flavorful... I ordered it medium rare but it was definitely well done. Fried rice was just okay too, the gravy saved this plate for sure though. Also, wish it came with mac salad - that's just me though. Overall, really really wanted to love this place but I feel like I could go to other breakfast places nearby to get quicker, cheaper & better food.

My favorite was of course the snow crab legs and their clam chowder, poke and their catch of the day! I went back for seconds on the snow crab legs because I can never get enough of it. I was not thrilled about their prime rib, pancit or ribs because the pancit and ribs had that 5 Chinese spice taste and I'm not a fan of that at all. I want my pancit to taste like pancit! However, their service was nothing short of fabulous. Their waitstaff was so attentive and helpful knowing that it was my first visit. Highly recommend checking this place out and going to the driving range afterwards to digest your food :)

Our server was absolutely wonderful and so attentive, which made the experience even better. And the buffet... WOW. Normally buffets can be hit or miss -- where a few things are great and the rest fall short -- but everything here was so flavorful and well done. Every dish we tried was delicious. Of course the crab was amazing, but one of my favorite surprises was the ramen station. So good. Such a great night and we will definitely be back.

But, the one thing I will not recommend here is the hamburger loco moco - the patty was super hard and had no flavor at all. The gravy was also bland and a bit too thick/gelatinous in my opinion...definitely SKIP! If you order takeout check your food and make sure you have all your condiments. I asked if they put syrup and butter in my bag and drove all the way home to find nothing inside :/

We got the banana pancakes, corned beef hash moco, and Vinha D'Alhos. All were comforting, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a local breakfast spot. We ordered five pancakes thinking we'd finish them but only made it through three. The aunty at the counter knew better and served it in a to-go container. She even brought us extra plates because she knew we were going to share everything. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out. She asked if we wanted the corned beef hash crispy and of course we said yes! The banana pancakes were hot, soft, fluffy, and not overly sweet. The Vinha D'Alhos was hearty and satisfying, perfect tang alongside the pancakes. The aunty working the counter was filled with aloha, and it was obvious she was adored by both the staff and other patrons. They were in the middle of cleaning when we arrived, but it didn't hinder our experience at all. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and we genuinely had a good time. This place feels like one of those spots where you're treated like family. Definitely coming back.

Outstanding Food, Vibes, and Live Music!…read more Had an amazing dinner experience at Mahi'ai Table last night with two friends! We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. The noise level was perfectly moderate, letting us enjoy both the live music and our own conversation. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

Underrated local dinner spot…read more The entry to this restaurant is so easy to miss because it's so narrow and it blends in so well with everything. I don't know if they want to keep it hidden, but I guess you could consider it that. We went in on a Saturday night with reservations and I highly recommend it since the place was full when we went in and more people kept wanting to come and eat. Service was great from beginning to end, I especially love that everyone accommodated my stroller and my baby. There were four of us and we each got something different, but to start I highly suggest the steamed shrimp and pork wontons and the lechon style Brussels - I would've double-ordered those for my entree if I could have! For entrees we ordered the garlic noodles, misoyaki butterfish, seared catch-of-the-day, and the burger. They were all amazing, and after we all started letting each other try we started making our own "flights" because everything just hit different spots and flavor profiles. In summary, this is one of those places that doesn't care about aesthetics, the decor is casual, but the food is soooo ono. They focus all their energy on food and service, and that makes a winner winner chicken dinner in my book.
