When your table is ready you order and pay (if you order a drink a cup for your coffee or drink will be given). It saves time for you to wait for someone to take your order and later to wave someone down to pay. I know other places use this system (like Joe's on Nimitz) but it seems very practical here. Every table had a cold bottle of water waiting for the diners (so no wait help had to refill glasses) and I saw one of the wait help exchange the one on the table for a new cold bottle (that table was vacant for a while). The food is plentiful (most people had at least one take out container) and delicious. My corn beef wasn't from a can and cooked so there was a crisp but still soft on the inside.
