10/10 highly recommend! This place was a great find deep in ʻEwa. The vibes were great, the food was incredible, and the service was top tier. Everything my party and I enjoyed was delicious! I can't wait to return and try other dishes.

Enjoyed our outing and relax time at Domodomo Cafe. With reservations at 12nn we arrived early, about 11:15am. No problem, since restaurant just opened we had our choice of tables. Shall we overlook the parking lot or... beautiful golf course. Didn't ponder too long. Swrvice was friendly and efficient and even brought us some nice extras since we were celebrating a birthday. I know, been celebrating a while; lol. Food that we had was delicious. Tho, surprised the menu was rather limited. And even tho we got there only 15 minutes after opening... we were told there were only 3 servings of the popular miso chili salmon entree. Also no longer available on the lunch menu is their miso black cod. It's okay. The soy sauce chili garlic fried chicken wings that we started with helped us forget much of what they were lacking (thank you to our server for recommending). Also memorable was the lemon yuzu pannacota that was gifted to our table. Would I be back again? Keep the same menu or more has me wanting more! I'm a fan.

Spicy tuna roll - heavily seasoned, good for sushi beginners

Okay food with great restaurant vibe and service. Smaller portion with higher price. Would only recommend this place for occasions or meetups. + Food: Overall, food wasn't bad, but everything needed small changes. I was surprised to find broccoli in my brussel spouts (not disclosed in the menu), fries could use some aioli, corn ribs weren't memorable. I'd only recommend the spicy tuna roll if you're new to sushi/raw fish because it was very heavily seasoned. The scallops were cooked well and very moist, but only came in 3 pieces, and were seasoned too lightly so it needs to be drenched in sauce. Sweet potato brulee was okay, not enough custard for my liking. The pork katsu is the only dish I really recommend. + The place: nice restaurant with a view to the golf course. I'd recommend calling ahead or making a reservation cause they do get busy.

Hidden gem in Ewa. We walked in on a weekend and were seated right away in a spacious booth. Domo Domo is clean, modern, and offers a variety of options to choose from on their menu. I ordered the menchi katsu, and my boyfriend ordered the sizzling wafu steak. We also got a side of mac salad and truffle fries to share! Service here was really good and the food came out fast. The restaurant also brings out three small banchan as appetizers (which was a nice surprise for my hungry, nearly hangry self)! Portions are also good for the price/dining atmosphere. We were pretty stuffed leaving. I'd definitely recommend Domo Domo for lunch, will have to be back for dinner!

Domo Arigatou, Domo Domo! My task at hand was to find and secure a location to hold a surprise 50th birthday party with a party of 10-12 adults, with tasty and generously portioned Japanese or Korean food, while not breaking the bank. How to do this on Oahu? Lucky for me, my search through Yelp and social media led me to Domo Domo! I contacted the restaurant via email off their website and got a response within 24 hours. After the initial contact, each time I reached out, I received timely responses which really helped make the planning so much easier! I was able to get a private dining room that accommodates up to 12 people, which has a $600 minimum spend to book the room (when you think about it, this isn't too hard to reach with food and drinks for 12!). This worked out perfectly to pull off the surprise as the entire group was hidden from our guest of honor until the door was opened. I had asked my family to order appetizers so they arrived shortly after the guest of honor did... the fried corn ribs, garlic edamame and truffle fries were delicious finger foods to start with! Our friends ordered a round of drinks, and my only regret is not taking photos of the Hazy Moon and Island Mule, which were not only beautiful to look at, but very delicious and refreshing! As our guests ordered their entrees, we ordered some tuna toast to tide everyone over in case the entrees took a while. Surprisingly, the toast arrived just as the entrees started coming, which really didn't take long at all! Entrees ordered included pork loin katsu, wafu steak, platters of galbi served with lettuce to wrap, tempura udon, bulgogi don, grilled octopus, and a 4 piece set of hand rolls. The katsu came with miso soup, and steak and galbi platters came with miso soup and rice to make for very complete meals. The portions were larger than any of us expected and everything tasted soooo good! I checked with management to see if we would be allowed to decorate with small favors and bring in a cake, which they graciously granted us permission. Our server Kingston took absolutely fantastic care of us, even bringing the cake out to sing Happy Birthday and taking it back in to cut into our desired number of slices (12) and then serve the slices to us! In addition, the birthday boy received a complimentary dessert from the restaurant. Located out at the very end of Fort Weaver Road in Ewa Beach, the location was perfect for most of our guests. I wished that I lived closer so that we could come back more frequently, but now that we know Domo Domo is there, we have a new place to visit when in the area. We've already told all our family and friends about them! A million thanks to Joon Hyun, GM Hoon Lim, Kingston and the team at Domo Domo for making my husband's surprise 50th birthday absolutely perfect!

Easy to make reservations here! It's located in Ewa Beach, so it's a little far for me since I live in town. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, though I'm not sure I'd make the drive out specifically to eat here again. The atmosphere is really nice and I liked the overall vibe. We tried the fried corn ribs, which were flavorful and such a unique way to eat corn. The hwe dup bop was refreshing, and the sauce had a slight spicy kick. Lastly, we had the wafu steak, which was good as well. Would I come back? Maybe if I was already in the area! I enjoyed the experience, but I'm not sure I'd drive all the way from town just for it.

The food was good. I enjoyed the appetizers the most! We came on a day where they were doing an event for influencers and a large golf party. It was a slow start getting us in and settled into our table. Our waiter KINGSTON took care of us and made sure we enjoyed our experience regardless of all the noise that was going on in the restaurant. Thanks so much Kingston!!! He's amazing. The service trumps the food for sure lol. Oops didn't take many pics haha

Domo Domo located at the end of Fort Weaver road. Same parking lot as the golf course across the beach. Free self serve parking. Located on the second floor. Stairs and Elevator access is a plus. Bright airy venue with a bar. Private room for bigger parties. SERVICE by Jazmine was excellent. Very friendly and shared with us about items on the menu. PRICE Domo Domo is a place to get dressed for, no beach wear or flip flops. Dress low key formal wear. FOOD assorted Japanese fusion. The Pork Loin Katsu was very moist and soft. We also enjoyed Fried corn rib and the soy chili sauce fried. Chicken wings. DESSERT was Kakigori shave ice.. very fine shave ice. Big enough to share. Recommend to try at least once!

Such a hidden gem! Had high expectations because of the reputation of the other restaurants, but they did not disappoint! The service was exceptional. They were very attentive and friendly even while the restaurant was busy. Staff made great recommendations and the food came out in a timely manner. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is so relaxing. We went before sunset and got to see the view during the day of the golf course and got to experience the night vibes as well. The menu has a lot to offer. Lots of categories with a variety of choices to cater to everyone's taste buds. Luckily went with a group of 5 so we got to try a bunch of different dishes. For appetizers- the tuna toast is a must! It's a perfect bite of poke with a nice crunch from the toast! I could eat 10 of these! The Brussel sprouts was also a favorite appetizer with its maple soy glaze and parm! If you don't like brussel sprouts- you might actually like this! lol The flavoring on the corn was great, but I wished it wasn't on the cob because it's messy to eat. The shrimp in the ebi katsu were huge, crunchy and not oily! The batter was a little thick but was proportionate to the shrimp size. The pork katsu was sooo delicious and tender. One of my favorite of the night. The wafu steak was also good - a little bit well done but the flavors were there. The miso black cod was also my favorite - soft and buttery with great flavor. The carrot puree under the cod was also surprisingly delicious and light. For dessert- the sweet potato crème brûlée is the popular dessert and it was pretty good. Not my favorite but good to try. I wonder if Okinawan sweet potato would be a better dessert the shave ice was a huge portion and the 5 of us almost didn't finish it ! The staff did give my parents a special treat for the celebration- it was like a yuzu custard with a crumble on top. THAT WAS BOMB, easily everyone's favorite dessert of the night! We inquired if that was going to be on the menu once day. And maybe it might Overall, a great restaurant with many delicious and flavor options! Great views and amazing staff. Would come again! Wish they had a location in town!

Lunch is best time to try this restaurant Service is above and beyond, friendly & helpful Its more of Korean than Japanese cuisine Lots of fried food Lunch came w free tapa style korean small plate Smashburger was tasty with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese. Patty on thin side like mcds not as thick as Chili's mushroom burger Fries was decent Most of menu was fried like katsu, tempura or udon type of noodles AC was great not too hot or cold View is nice of ocean or golf course Restaurant on 2nd floor with elevators or stairs This a room for group meetings near Restaurant

One of the best restaurants on island~ highly recommend their corn ribs, scallops, and broccolini. Their sauté is incredibly flavorful and food came out quickly. The staff and service is on top of things and the ambiance is nice. Also the kakigori dessert was a great addition. Ask for other seasonal flavors (2 at same time)

    Current lunch menu

A little disappointed with our experience today. They recently changed their lunch menu, and quite a few of the items I was looking forward to trying are no longer offered during lunch, including the scallops, broccolini, umami pasta, yuzu shrimp salad, sushi, and Brussels sprouts. We almost decided to stay and try some of the other options, but unfortunately, we were also told they were out of the fried corn ribs and crispy pork. Considering the drive out here, it was a little disappointing since there weren't many things left that we originally came wanting to try. Maybe we should've made it out here sooner before the menu changed! I'm mainly leaving this review as a heads-up for anyone planning to come for lunch. If you're hoping to try any of the specific dishes I mentioned, I would recommend making a dinner reservation instead, since the lunch menu is now pretty different. You can see the difference between the previous lunch menu and the new one below.

I've been here over 3 maybe 4 times now and always enjoyed my experience here. I initially came here 3 days after opening. Although the menu has changed a bit, their food and service has stayed consistent. Service has improved as far as timing of food coming out (as goes with all freshly open restaurants). Their staff has always been superb. Top notch, super friendly, knowledgeable of the menu items and always accommodating. I've asked for their recommendations on certain items and their recommendations have always been a good choice. On today's visit (June 2026) we ordered the Korean soy garlic chicken wings, tuna toast and truffle fries as an appetizer. The wings were perfectly cooked.. juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. The tuna toast was very very very flavorful. It had a hint of smoke and citrus. Interesting but delightful experience for my taste buds. For our main course my date had chefs choice sushi and I had the pork loin katsu. The sushi was fresh and flavorful... you get 10 pcs so depends on your appetite (I'm a big eater so I would've ordered 3x sushi) he enjoyed the perfect portion (he's a skinny boy). I went for the pork katsu..... I highly recommend the pork loin. Super tender and juicy on the inside and perfectly flaky and crispy on the outside. For dessert we had the sweet potato crème brûlée.... Ok so we ordered this bc it's different.. but I wished I went for something more lighter due to alllll the food we ate. But it was interesting. Delicious concept. But for a dessert.... I would've chosen something more lighter. If you're still hungry after your meal... the sweet potato will top you off. Overall, I enjoy this place.... Nice place on the west side, free parking, great food, superb service and beats driving into town for sure! Oh... we also had a bottle of Dassai 45 sake with your meal. I enjoyed it a lot!

Lots of parking available as well since this is part of a shopping center. Made reservations via OpenTable and glad that I did because I noticed this place was pretty busy for brunch. I believe brunch is on Saturdays and Sundays. My party and I shared the Korean Chicken & Mochi Waffles and the Two Eggs with Anykine Fried Rice and Portuguese Sausage. We also ordered a bottle of mimosa to share. Portions aren't really big but this was enough food for the both of us. Food was delicious and we recommend ordering them. We didn't realize that the spread for the mochi waffles was wasabi-based, so beware if you aren't a fan of wasabi. Our server was friendly and helpful. I loved the ambiance of this place. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you are planning a special occasion--or any meal at all. Our experience was a disaster from start to finish: * The Birthday Guest's Meal: The birthday guy ordered the steak frites. The center of his steak arrived raw, and his fries were soggy, limp, and stringy. * The Burger: My other friend ordered a burger. It was entirely uninspired and nothing special; he ended up leaving a quarter of it behind on the plate. * The Anykine Salad: (MORE LIKE WASABI KINE SALAD) I initially ordered the Anykine Salad with chicken and absolutely hated it. The entire dish tasted overwhelmingly of nothing but wasabi, and the chicken was so incredibly dry it could have been a prop. * The Dessert: Our server was kind enough to take the salad away. Because I felt awkward sitting at the table without food, I decided to try the chocolate mud pie as a replacement. It was severely freezer-burned and so rock-hard that trying to cut it with a steak knife nearly split the ceramic plate. Nobody at the table enjoyed it and since we paid for it, ate what we could handle, and we left a quarter of it behind yet again. The only saving grace was our server, who was attentive enough to clear the inedible dishes. However, the kitchen's performance was completely unacceptable. I feel terrible for bringing my best friend here for his birthday and subjecting him to such a miserable experience. Save your money and go somewhere else that actually cares about food quality.
