A perfect shopping break! Inside of Pearlridge Mall, in that center spot where Beerlab used to be. It's a cozy, lounge style, and great place for delicious (adult) beverages. I believe it's keiki friendly. Not sure about eats and they are cool with BYOF. Super friendly service, very welcoming. Wide variety of locally distilled liquors, sangria flights, and tasty island style drinks.

Enjoyed the GreenBay vs Raiders football game while sipping a Hawaiian Blend Sangria, hubby had the Blue Hawaiian. Hubby said he didn't enjoy his drink the vodka was cheap, but I enjoyed my Sangria. Customer service was friendly, the staff is very attentive, and timely. This was a cool spot bc we had a nice drink while watching a few highlights of the game. Highly recommend you stop by after some heavy shopping. Chill relax catch a game and sip your favorite beverage

Came here for a family birthday party. It was a little strange thinking of going to the bar in the middle of the mall. You eventually get used to it for the most part. I had the Pineapple Express which was vodka, honey and ginger beer. It was pretty sweet and pretty good. The workers here were really friendly and nice. There's a hidden speaker that plays music at a nice volume. It was a quaint place and I can see it being good if you wanted a quieter place instead of beer lab.

Jay!! Owner Jay is fabulous. We've been here a couple of times and I should have taken photos during those times. But we came back for the excellent service, fun stories, and super 'ono drinks. I love that Jay purchases only Hawaii locally made alcohol. Hawaii has so many new and hot rum, vodka, and whiskey, might as well share the aloha! Drinks are bespoke with fresh ingredients and made with aloha. My favorite bar tender is Brian. He is funny and kind. I happen to have my adult aged daughter visiting from college with me and wanted to try their new lychee martini. I didn't think she would feel comfortable here not drinking, but Brian offered to make her a mocktail! Strawberry "margarita" with all the fancy topping including li hung mui! Wow! She was happy with her non alcoholic drink! So accommodating. Will be back for more! Mahalo!

I am a huge sangria fan so I when I found out a new business called Mr. Sangria Bar was opening in Pearlridge, I couldn't wait to check it out. After two failed attempts, I finally got to try the Hawaiian Blend (Mr. Sangria original Red Blend). Mr. Sangria Bar specializes in sangria blends including red, white, sangria specialties, and soft serve! They have a full bar offering cocktails as well as beers and ciders and use local Hawaiian liquors like Kohana rums and Kapahi bourbon. Granted we had our drinks before dinner, but boy we thought our drinks packed quite a punch. We could only handle one drink each, but they were delicious and we found sitting at the bar to be fun. Located in Pearlridge Mauka (Macy's Uptown) first level next to Cookie Corner, they are open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am. Can't wait to return for their soft serve! read more

This is a must visit! It's a small bar inside Pearlridge mall and it's such a vibe! The music was great but most of all... the DRINKS!!! They were amazing. You have to get the sangria flight! Every single drink was great. The service was amazing as well! They were getting ready to close and they happily invited us in and took great care of us! This place is the best! read more

Happened to run across Mr. Sangria while my wife was doing her thing. She loves sangrias, so I recommended a last minute Pau Hana - excellent decision. Jay and Rhema were very friendly, the vibe was chill, the flight of sangrias were delicious, the homemade Mango salsa was inspired and the watermelon gelato was creamy perfect. Will definitely be coming back (with friends) to try other menu items. read more

Talk about a not so hidden gem!! We took our girls prom dress shopping and decided to stop in for a little reprieve. The bartender was engaging, knowledgeable, and attentive. While meandering around the Pearlridge Mall with my bf, we came across this sangria bar. Decided to try out the sangria flight (Hawaiian Blend, Blanco Blend, Peach Perfect Sangria Blend, PlumCrazy), and the Sunday Fun Day with peach puree. All of the drinks were absolutely scrumptious but, if I had to select a favorite, it would be the Blanco Blend sangria. Personable, knowledgeable, and friendly owner--he even gave us a complimentary sample of his sangria soft serve in the pineapple flavor (refreshing and not overly sweet). What a fun place to sit and relax, drink and chat. Since it's inside the mall, there are so many stores and shops- something for eveyone. And plenty of clean restrooms nearby! Love it! Best Sangria ever! read more

Figured I would pop in to give this place a try and it was ok. I ordered a sangaria flight which consisted of four flavors of sangaria and the hawaiian chips and salsa. All of the sangarias were decent but I think my favorite flavor was the plum. The mango salsa was a fresh chopped salsa on top of jarred salsa but it actually wasnt bad and the fresh salsa was refreshing. I was put off when the bartender patted my chips down with her bare hands as I had watched her touch various other items and brush back her hair. However she didnt make a fuss about giving more chips so I was ok with that. All in all glad I tried but probably wont rush back. read more

Off the back, this place seemed out of place, located in the middle of the mall. But I must say very nice place. The bartender Brian was very imformative and inviting. The staff is so funny and nice, the food came out so quick and tasted amazing. Only reason I give it a 4 is that the bathroom stalls are small kine cramped. But overall, clean. When the mozzarella sticks finally came out, the waitress took them to a completely different table--people who arrived after us. At that point, I had to track down another waitress just to figure out what was going on. To her credit, she stepped up, apologized, and comped both the mozzarella sticks and the chicken wings. She was the only bright spot in the whole experience. Then came the bill. It was loaded with items I never ordered. I pointed it out, and the same helpful waitress said she would fix it. She brought back a corrected bill for around $7, then later returned again with another version around $8 or $9. It seemed resolved at the time. But the next morning, I checked my bank account and saw that I was charged the full amount anyway. Between the inattentive service, incorrect food delivery, billing errors, and now being overcharged, this was a complete miss. The only reason this isn't a one-line review is because one staff member actually tried to make things right--but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to fix everything else that went wrong. I'd recommend double-checking your bill here... and honestly, considering going somewhere else.

To my surprise, on a Sunday evening after having dinner nearby at Maze, my wife and I walked over to Bar Leather Apron and we were able to get seated right away! In fact, around 7:30 p.m. when we stopped by, there was actually a ton of seating available in the bar. Who would've guessed. If you're in the same boat as me and are unable to find a reservation for your upcoming visit, I would encourage you to stop by and try a walk-in. The first page of the menu lists a wide variety of whiskey based cocktails. Most -- if not all, of the cocktails are pre-fixed with BLA (Bar Leather Apron), and represent a collaboration with the named distillery. If you're fan of whiskey, you'll definitely have a difficult time picking only one. I ultimately ordered their "Take Warning" -- 2021 BLA Knob Creek BLA Single Barrel, Cynar, Carpano Antica, Mezcal, Bergamot Salt. Drinks here are not cheap -- averaging $20 to $25 per drink. Although my drink was very spirit forward, it still felt very well balanced. I appreciated the hint of smokiness from the mezcal that rounded out the end of a sip. Service here quick and friendly. When we received the check, a cute small chocolate snack was brought over as well, borrowed from the menu at Maze. Overall, I can see why Bar Leather Apron has earned so many accolades in its field. Definitely worth a stop by if you enjoy the art of mixology.

The chicken bites were smaller and easier to handle, although they were a bit dry, so the ranch furikake dipping sauce helped. We were out within 20 minutes, so very fast, and I'm hoping the griddle gets repaired soon, so I can try their burgers.

Jay and his staff (Brian) have been amazing to work with. They are friendly, professional, accommodating and their drinks are superb. With a wide variety of locally branded liquor choices, their drink mixtures are one of a kind, especially their Hawaiian Blend Sangria which Mr. Sangria Bar is known for.
