I was served quickly, and everybody was friendly I decided to go with the beach nachos..... tortilla chips, queso sauce, pico de gallo, jalapeño (I forgot to ask them to leave it off, so I just picked it off my food,) , chimichurri salsa, avocado cream, and for my protein, I chose kalua pork. The nachos were very good, but nothing spectacular. It wasn't a huge portion, but it was a fair sized portion The queso sauce was The consistency of the "stadium stuff" nacho cheese, but it did taste much better. There was a good amount of tortilla chips, and they were not greasy, all of the toppings played well together, and the Kaúa pork was tender and delicious. The big problem I had, was with food, soda, tax, and tip, almost $38 out the door just for a plate of nachos? I realize, yes, it's Honolulu, yes, it's the airport, and yes, I'm paying for the name of Sammy Hagar, but this is still a ridiculous price. Next time I will just grab a sandwich. Out of a cold case. At the deli next-door. Thanks anyway.

My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs.

I don't know how the elderly lady with walker was able to get up the stairs or they weren't able to dine there. I didn't mind this place. It's not like Assaggio, but more like Olive Garden. Food was okay but the view and ambience were nice, especially at Christmas at Night! It's a huge restaurant with seating for parties with a lot of free parking shared with the golfers at the golf course. Indoor and outdoor seating. The last time, my friends weren't too impressed, but we did try variety of dishes from pizza, salad, pasta and appetizers. They have some specials from time to time. So sad that tomorrow is their last day of business according to my friend. Sad to see many restaurants are closing soon.

Island Brews at terminal 15 in Honolulu airport is crowded and noisy with overhead TV monitors of sport events. Ordered the $15 Hawaiian pizza and the $15 BBQ chicken. both personal sizes 7" in diameter. Pizza ordered at 11:29am, and delivered at 11:38am, ready in 9 minutes. Wife's Hawaiian Pizza comes with ham, scallion, crushed pineapple, and bacon. Not a whole lot of flavors as they skimped on the overcooked ham and bacon, with only a few bits of pineapple. My BBQ chicken comes with pulled chicken, hawaiian bbq sauce, red onion, mozaarella and gouda cheese. Chicken is tasteless, but the long strips of onions and BBQ sauce make all the difference in the world, as this is the most flavorful of the two pizzas. Fast forward four months and we have another stopover at Island Brews. We order at 11:15am and pizzas arrive at 11:28am. The $15 mushroom sausage pepperoni comes with very little mushroom, but with at least 4 slices of pepperonis and a decent amount of sausage in a red sauce to satisfy any carnivore. The $14 vegetarian pizza comes with jalapenos, basil, mushrooms, and pineapples. The jalapenos add some kick to the pizza. Yes, you can take the pineapple out of Hawaii but can't bring pineapple into Hawaii.

There is a separate jet bridge that connects passengers while boarding the upper cabin of ANA's Airbus 380 Aircraft. There is a regular lounge and a Suite lounge both sharing one same entrance. Me and my other half booked premium economy and was first to get to the regular lounge as my cousin and his other half were both booked in business class having access to the suite lounge as well. The regular lounge had a semi-full bar, a full spread of buffet selection, an udon bar, as well as non-alcoholic beverages with a premium coffee maker serving illy brand coffee. This lounge is spacious, seating area is extensive, especially considering that HNL isn't a very large airport. There are mainly three different types of seating; comfy lounge chairs and sofas with coffee tables line the large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a spectacular views of the tarmac and runway. If you are going to Tokyo Narita on the A380, you'll see the HONU aircraft just outside the window. Many passengers were airplane spotting as the first Honu was taxiing out and taking off. Long benches with communal tables are another seating that also serves as a workstation. The dining space also has AC power as well as USB outlets. There is also restaurant style with round cocktail tables, rectangular dining tables making it a very nice space to enjoy snacks, cocktails, or full meal before the flight. Food servers and ground staff agents are professional, and friendly. The entire lounge is kept sparking clean including the restrooms located just past the children's play area. Table and counters were constantly wiped down, the air conditioning temperature and ambiance is truly a Hawaiian/Japanese environment.

There was alot of options to choose from the menu. We ordered the locomoco which came with the beef patty, rice, macaroni and brown gravy and sunny side egg. I didnt try this dish so i cannot say if its flavorful or not. However, both my inlaws finished eating it so i assumed it was good enough. We also ordered the local burger with Swiss and cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onion with a side of fries. The beef patty was kinda dry and just ok, nothing special. We also got the Hawaiian flatbread your pizza with ham, pineapples, bacon, tomato sauce, mozzarella. It was a decent size foe one person. I didnt think it looked appetizing but it wasn't as bad. There was some flavor and crunch to the crust. My ordered the ahi rice bowl and a vodka island spirit drink. I really enjoyed my ahi as it was flavorful with balance of sauce and veggies. The drink was ok, didnt taste the alcohol.

Banana Pudding: 0/5…read more I was grabbing breakfast nearby at the Koa Pancake House but I've seen that this place had banana pudding on their menu. So I swung by on my way out to the parking lot for a sweet treat for later. I have to say this is probably one of the worst banana puddings I've ever had. It's one of my favorite desserts so I've had plenty from all over the country. If it's on the menu, there's a 90% chance I'm going to buy it. Their's tastes artificial. The pudding was reminiscent of a snack pack, but something about it made it taste worse. I don't know if it was additional sugar or how long I had been sitting in their fridge, but the pudding was pretty bad. There's maybe three or four nilla wafers on the bottom and one on the top for presentation. For the few wafers on the bottom, there was a slice of banana on top. Potentially totaling maybe three slices. For those slices, though, the banana was not ripe. You could tell the banana slices needed a few more days before use. Overall, I was wildly disappointed. I would highly not recommend their banana pudding, which is such a shame. I wished I loved it but sadly 0/5. The best part of the whole pudding was the 4 soft wafers. If that's the case, that should tell you something.

It's ok for what it is and better than sitting in a crowded terminal with no free food at all. And ok for being in a dingy airport in Honolulu. However, compared to other airport lounges across the world... this is a joke. Food selection is very limited to small pupus and amenities are also limited. So, if you are expecting a full buffet, lounge chairs, sleep pods, full bar, and showers... you will be very disappointed because there is absolutely none of that. Also, the lounge itself is rather small. There is often a wait just to enter and with limited bench seating outside the lounge, there are sometimes a bunch of people standing around. The staff... they are nice, just not the friendliest compared to other major airline staff. For a local airline in HAWAII, I would think the "Aloha" standard would be on point.
