**I want to acknowledge first that they do advertise (at least via Priority Pass) that this lounge is VERY limited.** This was my first time visiting Hawaii and as part of my travel experience, I was really looking forward to going to this lounge, but upon walking in, as they greeted me, they warned that they do not allow outside food/drink and they only have canned juices and Kirkland branded teas as part of their refreshments. The layout of the lounge is slightly awkward too. It's 4 rows of seating and kind of reminds me of an airport gate where there isn't a lot of privacy and is tough to gather a group of 5+ people. I'd say a benefit to this lounge is that if you're wanting some air condition this is a place to go.

3 stars are for the friendliness and clean lounge, 1 star for lack of food. Only basic coffee, tea (2 choices), juices. Period. Have wifi, but the way they setup the chairs, absolutely no privacy, one way in/out to the seats. One family sat in the corner at the end of the beverage station, everyone must step over them to get to the rest of the seating area (for some reason they won't move, have their bags scattered on the floor).

Currently here before my flight that leaves in about an hour and a half. Figured I'd stop by since I have the priority pass with Amex, but it's pretty disappointing as far as amenities go. Was sad to see that the Sakura lounge /admirals club was taken off the list for Amex platinum. Service is great, the workers are attentive, friendly and polite. There's a few canned drinks in a mini fridge and other juices in pitchers. Pretty disappointed there were no water bottles (as that was what I had come for)... and coffee on the side as well. No alcoholic beverages if that's what you're looking for, and no outside food is allowed. As far as the space and seating, it's pretty limited and cramped if you come at a busy departure time. There is WiFi available with a password provided on the side tables. Standard outlets available (no USB so bring your plugs). Overall, the two starts were for the AC as I was sweating after security and I also wanted to give my phone a charge. Additionally, my gate was still closed and I wanted to sit somewhere with AC!

Good air conditioning, but other than that, nothing else good here. They have a few cans of soda and juice, but no bottled water, and you're not allowed to eat or drink outside food here either. Decor is hard on the eyes. There is only one television for the whole lounge. There's no bathroom here. The only upside is that the lounge is pretty clean. The ladies up front didn't even know how many people are allowed with one priority pass. This is my first time here and will probably be my last.

The most bare minimum lounge I have ever been to! Once you clear security in Terminal 2, head downstairs to the ground level. You'll immediately see an outdoor garden. The IASS Hawaii Lounge is by the Garden Court. Guests are immediately greeted by staff saying "no food available and no outside food allowed." If you're okay with that then they will start scanning you in. The lounge itself is pretty small and has very little amenities - a few beverage options, wifi and some seating. If you want a place to get away from the gate crowds then the lounge is a good escape short term. This is the only lounge I've been to that has a posted sign saying you are not allowed to bring any of their drinks outside. They're all non-alcohol!

I have a Priority Pass Airport Lounge Membership. The only lounge at the HNL that accepts Priority Pass is the IASS Hawaii Lounge in the Garden Court area of the airport. The amenities are pretty basic. There is some seating, and a small fridge with tea and juice but no food. The staff was pretty nice and let me take my drink to go though I think that was not technically allowed. There aren't a lot of reasons to be here, but I just wanted to check out the lounge and use my pass.

This lounge is very difficult to find and has the bare minimum here. In order to find this lounge you need to head towards gate E and then take the stairs down to the triangle garden area then look at the sign to find where you are. It's near the other lounges. There's no food, alcohol, and only water, coffee, and soft drinks. Theres no bathroom inside either. There are outlets to charge your phone or electronic devices. The workers were not very friendly when informing you there is no food or alcoholic drinks. I came here since I had 2 hours before my flight and it was air conditioned. I used my premier pass but this was such an underwhelming lounge. I'm surprised it's even called a lounge

The missing 1.5 is for a smaller selection than most premium lounges. Their miso braised pork was stand-out and their lilikoi cheesecake bar was delicious. Most of their produce/fruit offerings were local and fresh - can't say that about every lounge I've been to. Staff were continually refilling the stations. Drink selection is quite bare - 1 hard seltzer and 2 beers, a few different wines (I didn't check). No spirits, which other self-serve lounges even have. They make it a point to tell you that everything is self-service, including bussing your own plates and dishes. As such, some guests still leave their dishes and trash behind and it really doesn't seem like anyone is paying attention, so tables can stay full for a while. There are very limited big/full tables with outlets nearby, so I ended up bussing someone else's dishes myself to use the table for our party. Everything seemed clean, including bathrooms. Someone is also regularly cleaning it. Wifi wasn't strong enough for me to download anything off Netflix, which was strange, but maybe it was just me. All in all, this would be a 3.5/5 lounge experience, but still glad to have it.

The regular lounge had a semi-full bar, a full spread of buffet selection, an udon bar, as well as non-alcoholic beverages with a premium coffee maker serving illy brand coffee. This lounge is spacious, seating area is extensive, especially considering that HNL isn't a very large airport. There are mainly three different types of seating; comfy lounge chairs and sofas with coffee tables line the large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a spectacular views of the tarmac and runway. If you are going to Tokyo Narita on the A380, you'll see the HONU aircraft just outside the window. Many passengers were airplane spotting as the first Honu was taxiing out and taking off. Long benches with communal tables are another seating that also serves as a workstation. The dining space also has AC power as well as USB outlets. There is also restaurant style with round cocktail tables, rectangular dining tables making it a very nice space to enjoy snacks, cocktails, or full meal before the flight. Food servers and ground staff agents are professional, and friendly. The entire lounge is kept sparking clean including the restrooms located just past the children's play area. Table and counters were constantly wiped down, the air conditioning temperature and ambiance is truly a Hawaiian/Japanese environment.

Seating is arranged across several sections with lounge chairs, work tables, and bar-style seating. During peak departure periods, particularly in the evening when multiple mainland flights depart, the space can become busy but still remains manageable. I thought maybe it was just me, but my friend agreed it was tough as well. The grilled cheese was also a bit surprising. Instead of the classic buttery, crisp bread with melty cheese inside, the cheese was grilled onto the outside and inside, which left the sandwich lacking that satisfying crunch. The fries were tasty, but for a $7 upgrade, I was hoping for a more generous portion than what arrived on the plate. On a positive note, the staff was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and checked on us a few times during our meal, which always makes a difference.
