What a fun, hidden gem of a local cocktail bar, located below a restaurant. A chill place to hang, relax with friends and a beer and cocktail! Friendly staff, very welcoming with their aloha spirit. It's a very casual and low key bar but so cool!!

Setting is pleasant across the street from the post office with a Tiki wood carving out front and with tropical tiki bar design elements throughout but in a more modern updated way .... Love the automatic mister that keeps things cool out on the lanai. Best thing about it was meeting a nice newly wed couple and sharing our enthusiasm with them starting their life journey together.

Arnold's is a great little (yes, small) divish bar tucked away down an alley. It's a fun place with some live music, at least on the night we were there. There were 2 bartenders working and service was great. We enjoyed a Mai Tai, delicious! So we had a second one - they are powerful! If we were locals, we'd be regulars at Arnold's.

Arnold's Beach Bar & Grill is a small neighborhood bar nestled in the outer fringe of the Waikiki tourist zone. Some might describe it as a dive bar; but its really nicer than that. 75% of the clientele are regulars. The drink prices are really reasonable.

From start to finish Arnold's did not disappoint! They started out by carding me at 40, which I loved, then someone immediately put a puppy in my arms I named him Pablo but later found out his name was Taz when he was abruptly taken from my arms. I will never forget the time I spent at Arnold's with my sweet Pablo and to Pablo I'm sorry our time was cut short and that we didn't get to say goodbye. I love you my sweet Pablo, goodbye forever

Funny how you don't know something exists even though you pass by almost every day?! Visited Arnold's Beach Bar & Grill for the first time ever last week, after working in the area almost my whole career. This little tiki bar is tucked away next to Eggs & Things on Saratoga Rd. It's a small entrance that is super easy to miss. The second you walk in you have lots of cute plants and greenery which is a huge plus for me lol. It was empty when we went around happy hour time, we had a large work group & settled outside on one of their tables outside. Staffing is lean - looks like just one bartender taking care of the whole bar. They may have more staff later in the evening. Either way, she was friendly even while busy taking care of everybody on her own. Beer & drinks were very affordable, not a very big food selection but they had 2 hot dogs (regular & Portuguese sausage which sounded good). I filled myself up with beer so there was no chance to try them :P If you are in the area, check them out!

Very friendly and welcoming bartender! Unassuming place just a few steps along the path. Music is fun and enjoyable- just what you would expect from a beach bar and grill. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. You belly up to the bar to order so don't hesitate. Popcorn was a free treat. I didn't get food this time but will be back to try. They have live music also.

Looking for good (and cheap) drinks a few blocks from the beach? Then Arnold's is the place. They open early and close late and they have cheap drinks all day long (although the drinks are cheaper during the day, the prices go up a dollar or two at night). Even though it's a beach bar you still need to wear a shirt and shoes and there's no smoking or vaping on the patio. There's always free popcorn and they offer a variety of hot dogs at night. Definitely worth a stop when you're in Waikiki.

Great bar! This is a terrific local divey beach bar with a tiki theme. My friend and I came here late one night and had great drinks and I ended up coming back the next day. Brie is a terrific bar tender with a great personality. The locals who come are all friendly and the vibe is chill. I didn't try the food but wanted to and will next time I'm back!

    Are kids allowed?

    Sorry no kids.

Is kissing your partner on a date allowed inside the bar, or is it really against their policy? The door guy told us to 'take it outside' when I kissed my partner. It wasn't making out or anything inappropriate, it just made him uncomfortable.

I’m sorry you were offended that was not to happened. I will have a talk with staff.

Can I Smoke in the Patio?

    NO!

    What about parking?

Parking is very limited. It's better to walk if your close enough.

Is it still open due to recent mandate closing all bars as of August? I assume since they serve some food, they can stay open. Plan to go this weekend

No they are not still one more week to go. They don't serve food.

Do they have original tiki mugs for sale?

Yes they do have the mugs for sale

After bringing dozens of friends here over the years, we are officially done. If you visit, be careful: * Unsolicited sexual advances. I'm used to being hit on by bartenders but this guy was way out of his territory. He is gross and constantly had to dodge his unwanted advances especially with his girlfriend working there. Seriously?? Ew. Stage Ego: The host (same heavy set guy) prefers hearing himself sing over managing a fair rotation for the paying customers. * Retaliation & Hostility: After I turned down highly inappropriate personal advances from this bartender, he began actively punishing me--ignoring my orders and burying my karaoke requests at the absolute bottom of the list. * Short-Challenged & Ripped Off: on too many occasions I'd hand him a $20 for a $5 drink then never give me change --continues to serve other customers avoiding eye contact or pretending he doesn't hear me ask for my change. Other times he'd claim I never paid him at all. That was the last straw. A bar is only as good as the people running it. We're tired of the hostility, ego, and financial dishonesty. There are plenty of other great karaoke spots nearby that actually respect their customers--go to those instead.
