Great dive bar with AC. The bartender Jake graced us with some free magic tricks. Uncle Kimo is the man

Walked by this place many a times, but felt intimidated somehow. It is an older, smaller dive bar. About a 10 seater bar and about 5 seated small tables. Went to see Carl play his guitar. There is live music on other days, too. Do a Yelp check-in for a $4 shot which happened to be a pineapple-upside down cake shot. It really did taste like one! Friendly bartender, stiff drinks and a good rotation of regulars, younger crowd and drinkers of all types. Pretty art work.

Dive, dive, dive. This is the epitome of a dive bar in one of the oldest drinking locations in Hawaii. Don't miss Smith Union Bar around the corner which is where the USS Arizona hung out.

Very nice spot to just wind down and have a drink or two.. People are nice and the bartender is excellent!!

Let me drop some history bombs on you folks - There are only 12 survivors left alive from the infamous day of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. 12!!!!! The sole last survivor of the Arizona was interred a few years back. Now THIS BAR - I got a WHOLE HISTORY LESSON!!! Wanna know where your granny's and uncle's hooch was coming from during the Roaring 20's guess wheeeeeere? Cuz this bar still has the trap door that lets you to gueeees where - you you know it a harbor!!!!! The barkeep there gave me a very good intro of the entire history - test there was a brothel upstairs (most bars did to appease the lonely mil folk before going off to war - or even earlier) The floors is original - so is the thick glass for the actual bar. What my barkeep also informed me - was each naval ship had their own designated bar. This particulate one was designated to the USS Arizona. so when you go have yer beverage here - tread carefully, you just might've walking on the very same floor your grandfather, great uncle or great grandfather did . Do NOT disrespect this sacred place! Oh by the bay the day have really cool shirts. They also run an operation to donate to those in need. ask the barkeep for details. When you go here use yer utmost respect - and do not desecrate this place. Consider this sacred ground! for those who passed before us!!! And if you happen to spill a lil bit of beer or whatever yer drinking - that's a term of respect for the ancestors. But please respect the historical significance. Enjoy

Come to find out Tiki's literally had closed a few days earlier so headed over to this similar establishment. Tiki's used to do happy hour specials so I was hoping Cuckoo Coconuts would be similar, but our server said sadly, no happy hour prices here. Full price cocktails it will be then! They are a bit on the higher side but I do feel like they give you your drink's worth--there's enough alcohol to feel like you're drinking a cocktail, not just a slushy. My chi-chi was tasty, although not as coconutty or creamy as I thought it might be. My friend enjoyed her $26 pina colada in a pineapple shell, and the presentation was great, with the top on the pineapple and a little paper umbrella. My husband got an Amaretto sour and it was good. Live musicians were tuning up while we were here and there's a decibel reader nearby, presumably because it may get loud here. Nice place to go if you want a tiki-style drink in a casual environment. I will say that I am going to miss Tiki's Meeting Spot's happy hour prices and I can't do $17 cocktails all too often.

Comfortable interior and HUGe TVs this is a great place to watch sports. Service was very friendly but could have some improvement. Hamachi carpaccio was pretty good and fried pork belly. Cons: They didnt have any beers on draft which I thought was strange for a sports bar, I asked for a menu but they didn't have any drink menu available, so the poor servers had to constantly repeat what beers they had. It was a busy night but the food took a very Long time to arrive some things almost an hour. Servers need a little more training. Granted they were pretty;) BUT We had to ask for water, water refills, plates, utensils, serving spoons, reminded them to check with kitchen if food was coming.
