We come here often, whenever we visit Waikiki. Great drinks, great people, great views...everything one could ask for from a beachside booze shack. Finding seating can be difficult, but generally doable. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the interaction when ordering and my Mango Lava Flow cocktail was very good and the sample of the original Lava Flow was as terrific. Be careful - too many of these could be dangerous! Loved being able to get a casual drink at the waters/beach edge of Waikiki. Bonus - great music, wave action and people watching.
Absolutely perfect location just a few feet from the water. Kimo is warm, friendly and an ambassador for all things Hawaiian - the true spirit of Aloha Great selection of refreshments including local cocktails! In case you forget, there's a handy supply of complimentary sunscreen available. Showers and rest rooms approx 100 yards away. Arrive about 30 mins before opening (check sign for time - either midday or 1pm) to secure a seat.
Kimo, the bartender whipped up some mighty fine cocktails . This bar sits DIRECTLY on the water, can't get any closer without falling in.
Best Bar Experience in Hawaii! This beach bar made our whole trip. The owner is amazing -- the friendliest vibe, great energy, and he makes the best drinks we've had on the island. Prices are great, the music is perfect, and he even treated us to free drinks throughout the day. Such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We're adding pictures because this spot deserves all the love. If you're in Hawaii, you have to stop here!
Save some money! Koa oasis is attached to the hale Koa hotel. For servicemen and women you get a great price and for regular Joe haoles it's still a good deal. I think the mai tai were 12 bucks. Usually around 18 bucks down the street or at the hotels or more . And they're good drinks too and the bartenders are nice people. The customers are great. The military folks are in shape, the place is well run. Go to the US Army museum up the hill. It's free and it's awesome. I love that battery Randolph & the history of the whole thing. They have a good hotdog there and it's inexpensive. I forget what the other food is but the whole thing is great. You sit there and look at the ocean and enjoy your dranks from the tables. The more I think about it it's really a can't miss if you're staying at Hawaiian Village you just walk right over there, they open at 11. Aloha! Five stars.
It doesn't get better than this - a pretty drink watching a gorgeous sunset! We got really lucky with scoring the last table, and I got the mango flow, which is a little twist on the normal strawberry puree for a lava flow. It was delicious! For our second round, I got the sunset lemonade and my husband got the lava flow. Kimo was so friendly! This will be one of my guaranteed evening plans every time I'm in Waikiki!
Easy to find! Right on the beach front. An extension of the hale koa hotel. Sweet bartender, good quality drinks at decent prices. Great place to watch the waves & have a drink!
as you walk by this place admiring the beautiful surroundings, do yourself a favor and sit down here and enjoy a mai tai. Yes i know, but trust me on this one .. quick service, great drinks, aloha!
We came to hangout on the beach and saw this place right on the boardwalk. Went with a frozen mai tai and it did not disappoint. Really tasty and low price! They closed by the time I could go back for a second drink sadly but highly recommend!
Walked 3.5 miles from the port to go to a locals beach bar. It is exactly that. Beautiful view of the waves. Totally enjoying this place!
Amazing view, atmosphere, drinks and service. The gentleman cooking and serving drinks was also very diligent about sanitizing the tables and providing excellent customer service. I had a Mai Tai and Mango Flow. Both were delicious. He also sent the drinks off with a cup of ice water, which is so thoughtful. You can't beat this view and price. There are other beachfront bars around, but this is right at the edge of the water. The music was very aloha. It's extremely convenient to be close to the restrooms also.

This review is far too late! We haven't been there since end of April 2024. We spent every sunset at Koa for 5 months. Aside from being the primo spot in Waikiki, they truly have the best 2 bartenders on the island, Kimo & Anthony are the very best! Best customer service, amazing mixed drinks, if thats your vibe, and lastly great music! If you love a Hawaiian Reggae vibe, Kimo is your man, if you love oldies, like Elvis, Anthony is your man! This spot has the best relaxing views away from busy Waikiki. It's also a great date spot, or just a nice place to relax and watch the catermaran boats drift on & off shore. This place has the most Awesome service and the best hospitality on the island by Kimo! Mahalo's! read more

Fun little beachside bar in the Waikiki area! We stopped to get pina coladas and we were not disappointed! I got a mango flow (pina colada with mango puree) and loved it. It was a refreshing drink after being at the beach for a while with a great view! This place has outside seating in front of the beach for customers. The gentleman behind the stand was very nice too! read more
Such fun at this little cocktail stand with a patio area. Right on Waikiki Beach. We grabbed a couple of Blue Hawaiians and a hot dog after a morning of swimming and just hanging out at the beach. Such friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It was a nice relaxing afternoon. Would highly recommend. read more

Stopped by while doing a beachside walk down Waikiki Beach, to get a maitai because you can't go to Hawaii without getting a Maitai. The drink itself was very pretty but didn't really feel like it had alcohol in it. It also felt a bit expensive for such a small drink, but also it is to be expected. It did taste great however, and was refreshing! The staff here are super nice and were friendly! There is some seating right outside or you can also head straight to the beach like 5 feet away. read more

Perfect spot to stop for a snack and a ice cold drink! They only have hot dogs but many drink options blended or on ice ! Once you order you get your drink served right away! Beyond great place for a quick drink or 2 ! read more
Really good drinks. These are a blend of Lava Flow and Mango Flow. I am not a fan of really sweet drinks, my wife is. This one we both enjoyed. Only giving 4 stars because they don't technically serve you, but they are incredibly nice. This is as high of a recommendation I would give for a drink stand, very good. read more

We love this spot! As a local and as a visitor. This is where we come to chill have delish libations. Customer service is awesome and not to mention the beautiful views. You are literally steps away from the water. We frequent here every time we are in the area. So come chill, have a drink and enjoy the views and catch some waves. read more

10/10! The service and drinks were amazing. I got the Lava Flow and Mango Flow. They were delicious. Kimo was so kind to give me a tall ice cold cup of water with my drink. It was perfect to help keep me hydrated. This is a great spot to just relax, have a drink, and listen to the waves. read more

Just the type of local bar you want to find while walking on the beach. Nice cold beer is just what you need. They have good music playing here too. Quick little walk up to the window to order and then there's some tables out front to enjoy your beer at.. would definitely recommend and be back here!! read more
