Coquito Ornaments and Iced Paniolo Hot Chocolate
    Brenda B.

Bring on the Christmas vibes! Came here with my group of gal pals to have a night of fun. I don't typically go to pop-ups, but why not. Once you walk in, you're welcomed with Christmas decor. They transformed the old Chili's to a Christmas pop-up. Once we're seated, half the group is on the bench, while two others are on chairs. Honestly, for a group of 5, I think it was a little too tight but we made it work. It was a little disappointing that the Naughty or Spice wasn't available because who wouldn't want to try an ube drink. But that's okay, we settled for the Coquito Ornament and Iced Paniolo Chocolate. $15 for the Coquito was honestly steep, but I guess you're paying for the "experience." The servers were really nice and friendly. They were helpful and the ambiance of the place really gives you Christmas vibes!

I'm a sucker for holiday bars whether it be for Halloween or Christmas! So stoked that this one opened up at Pearlridge! No driving into town this year! Located at the old Chili's, the building was perfect for the Christmas lodge aesthetic. Of course the drinks are overpriced because hello inflation! Expect to pay $15 per cocktail. We arrived shortly after 6pm on a Friday night and had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. The coquito was my favorite. Don't forget to check out the speakeasy behind the building -- Karmpus' Lair! They have their own drink menu too!

Checked this place out with my friend and it was a great experience! The drinks were awesome and the service was great. Definitely a good photo opportunity if that's what you're looking for! Definitely got check it out if you're in the area! Aloha

Beautiful trees!!! Cute popup limited drinks and food is popcorn and like a Chex mix. Will put you in the holiday mood :)

This Christmas theme pop-up took over the old Chili's at Pearlridge Mall. Lots of free parking. Service was great! They only have a coupe of snacks to munch on, so eat before or after! There is a limit of 90 minutes if it is busy.

Had fun with my friends. Got the paniolo drink. My friend wasn't into it, so the waitress helped us decide on an alternative drink for him. Later on we caught attitude with the waitress when I asked if we could have an itemized receipt. I think she thought I was asking if we could have separate checks, which they will only accommodate if you let them know before you order. Understandable, it's a pop-up. But no, I just wanted to see the itemized receipt so I knew exactly how much I had to Venmo my friend lmao. Cause we're not trying to split the check four ways if one friend only got a ginger beer. When it was clear she did not know what an itemized receipt was, I just took a picture of the POS system. Train your staff on what a receipt is so that they aren't unnecessarily rude to customers. I was a server once. I know when customers are dumb. And I don't think I deserved that.

Our cocktails were delicious and I liked the chill atmosphere and vibe this place had to it since we came once the mall was closed. Keeping an open tab with them is probably the easiest way to go for both parties. We decided to try the Korean Fried Chicken since it was on a special for that day. And boy was it good! The flavor was great, it was cooked just right, everything about it made me want to come back and order it again. Which I probably will! There is ample parking for this bar in the parking structure above it and across the street in the old Sears parking lot at pearl ridge mall. The server won't come to take your order. Not sure how this is handled if you have no phone. They may have menus and drinks written on chalkboard at bar or maybe request a paper menu. She brought us waters with a bottle to refill on our own, plates, cutlery and napkins. Drinks didn't take long and were deliciously concocted. We ordered chips with ahi dip- lots of dip and not enough chips but I'm sure if you asked for more they would acquiesce. Yummy and right flavor not too salty. Also onion rings which were large and plenty in the basket! You had choice of ranch dressing or brown mustard and we wanted to mix so she said no problem and brought them! Then we had to try the dessert flight which were three cute little prepared sweets of crème Brûlée, strawberry shortcake and a brownie with some type of custard on top. Yum! Place was clean, not too loud, and a restroom inside their place which was nice. All the servers were friendly, pleasant and made sure we had what we needed, clearing plates and glasses, keeping table clean. We really enjoyed powering up before power shopping so will return!

Ordering was super easy and quick using the QR code to place and pay, which I appreciated. The beermosa itself was refreshing and well done, and I'd absolutely come back just for that. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet expectations. The "crispy" pork ended up being more hard than crunchy--so chewy that after one piece my jaw was sore. I thought maybe it was just me, but my friend agreed it was tough as well. The grilled cheese was also a bit surprising. Instead of the classic buttery, crisp bread with melty cheese inside, the cheese was grilled onto the outside and inside, which left the sandwich lacking that satisfying crunch. The fries were tasty, but for a $7 upgrade, I was hoping for a more generous portion than what arrived on the plate. On a positive note, the staff was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and checked on us a few times during our meal, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really wanted to love the food more, but it fell short this time. That said, I'd still consider coming back for another beermosa and hopefully a better kitchen day next time.

We were not disappointed, but that is not why I would definitely be back. Let me give a little background. We are only supposed to be there from 5 to 9 at the latest. Initially, it was quiet people were watching TV and there was literal families. They're having dinner. We quietly drank, ordered our food and flipped through the karaoke book for when we were enough intoxicated to start singing. Keep in mind everyone was still eating. My friend, who is a fantastic singer, finally put in a song and out of the corner of the room all we heard was "Oo. Are we singing now?" or something to that effect. After my friend broke the ice and sang the first song it was all singing from that point forward. The songs arranged from country to old 80s love songs to whatever, and they were being sung by people from all over the room. Couple tables turned over while we were there, despite that if a good song came on, people were singing from their seats and it was not an issue to anybody. By the 10 o'clock hour, my friend was singing duets with a guy. She's never met before, but who could sing and the whole bar was just on such a positive vibe. Food was great. The wait help is fantastic. We ended up staying till midnight. Closing the bar down. It was such an intimate and welcoming vibe that we will definitely be visiting again.

I think the idea is awesome, just terrible execution with no commitment to the theme. A nostalgia fueled watering hole with no frills drinks menu and a DJ. Party at the old Chili's restaurant at Pearl Ridge. You'll find it near the Long's and across from Blue Tropix bar. Plenty of parking. Staff are friendly. The bar has the restaurant side with tables set up if you want to grab drinks and hang out. The bar side of the restaurant has a dance floor and the DJ. When we first got there it was like an awkward middle school dance with nobody on the dance floor. By the time we left, there was a handful of young adults dancing and singing along to Apple Bottom Jeans and California Girls by Katy Perry. The drinks are decent, tho it's a lot of environmental waste because it's all served in single use plastics and take out cups. Each drink has something "special" and plastic. A blinking light ice cube. A butterfly hair clip. A plastic stir straw with a star on it. Shots served on mini beer pong red plastic cups. The music was all from the year 2000+. My personal theory is that 90% of music sucked after we slipped past Y2K. We played a trivia game, playing "guess the year this song came out" and 95% was later than 2000. Backstreet Boys, Missy Eliot, Katie Perry, Britney. Like going to a teenage girls slumber party circa 2008. No nineties hip hop, pop, grunge etc. They should have done their research. The decor was mostly 80's movie posters. Gremlins, children of the corn, back to the future, ET. There were some VHS cassettes and tapes scattered around and a few neon lights. The music was a decade too late and the decor a decade too early. Food menu was lunchables, uncrustables (saucer shaped PB&J sandwiches in more plastic), Slim Jim's to snap into and pringles. Don't go if you're hungry or actually lived during the 90's.

She was kind when I brought it up and took it off the bill and brought me a free bottle of water. Then promptly avoided all eye contact for the rest of the night. Inside was freezing. Besides decor and music, it wasn't nearly as fun as we expected. No food besides bar nuts. It would be a game changer if they had at least a couple items of food.
