Their door signage! My son who's so sad trying to see if someone's inside that can open the place so he can have a birthday party!

I had a very disappointing experience with Rock 'N Fun Kapolei when I booked a birthday party for my son. I reserved a birthday package and paid a deposit in advance. On the day of the party, my family and guests arrived at the venue only to find out that the place was closed due to a power outage (Kona Storm). The problem is that no one from the business contacted me to inform me about the closure so I assumed they will be open. All of my invited guests had already arrived, and I had to explain to everyone that the venue was closed and that I was never notified. It was extremely embarrassing and stressful, especially since this was my son's birthday celebration. Because of the lack of communication, I had to scramble to find another venue at the last minute so the party wouldn't be completely ruined. I understand that power outages can happen, but failing to notify customers who have reservations and deposits is unacceptable. Businesses should have a system in place to contact customers when situations like this occur especially they are aware that a storm is coming. I emailed them about my reservation. The following day I waited if someone would reach out and explain what happened but NO ONE tried to contact me again. I had to call them first and tell them about my reservation. I spoke to the manager and he said they don't have control on the situation because everything was on the computer system and they don't have access to it since there is no electricity. Doesn't business supposed to have a back up plan in situations like this? Nobody thought of doing manual list of people who has reservations, the dates, time and their phone numbers, in case the power goes out? The manager said he will refund me with my deposit and that his office is looking into something to compensate me. It's been 10 days but only got the refund email. No oneeven bothered to reply on my email!! Terrible! I hope the management takes responsibility and improves their communication so this does not happen to other families in the future.

We ended up here on a Wednesday night just to have fun. I must say all in all it was an awesome night. The workers that worked here that night was so nice and very friendly, very helpful and we won some cute little prizes

A decent selection of games to play and entertain yourself and others just for fun or for some of their prizes. Conveniently located in same "store" as Johnny Rockets for food and drink. You can sit down between games or while others play and get a bite to eat. Great overall atmosphere. Happy gaming!

Hubby, daughter and I came here to play games. It used to be called Johnny Rockets but then changed their name. Not sure when this happened. Probably a little after 2021. It has games and a section where you can dine in and eat. They serve burgers, fries and your normal typical food. We dined here when it was Johnny Rockets. They food was pretty tasty. For the games you need a players card to play games. The more points you accumulate, the better. You get into a higher tier. More benefits of that. The inside was fairly clean. I believe there's a restroom in the back but I think you may need a code. Code is on your receipt if you dine in and play games. We had so much fun here. Definitely coming back again.

Was my first time here with my wife & kid & probably my last it was not as good as I was expected I mean the other one in Pearlcity was great I'm surprised I should have read the reviews before hand but I trusted it would be different so I came in to try myself the food is over priced then u have to by every thing separate which makes no sense. Windows was dirty as could be just looked like no effort in cleaning the place they need more workers not chilling. next time I'll eat some were else In the mall area.

Rock N Fun Johnny Rockets is located in Ka Makana Alii mall near the theaters and Old Navy. I came here to celebrate my nephew's birthday. He loves this place and always have fun. My brother reserved several tables - maybe 5 tables in a row and the time was when the doors opened (10 a.m.). It was nice at this time because no one - I mean NO ONE - was there. The kids would run around and play the games and the adults would talk/catch up. The gaming area is similar to Fun Factory or any gaming facility but it seems less congested and more lighting. Rock N Fun had a bar and about 17 televisions. Yes, 17 TVs! Various football games were playing and we were able to follow watch our favorite teams. :) BIG PLUS! The food was okay. I had the Philly cheese steak - it was one of the favorites in the restaurant - and a chocolate milkshake. I guess because my brother got a special birthday package there was a number of milkshakes that with it. I thought it was okay. Not as thick as I hoped it would be, but definitely had the chocolate taste. Back to the Philly Cheese Steak - I thought the cheese steak was a bit bland. It could use some salt and pepper. The fries were unsalted. I'm not sure if that's how it's made. The onion rings were great - not too greasy, had a dipping sauce on the side, very crunchy. The restrooms were very clean. Two stalls - one for handicap and another for others. You can also hear the game from the speaker by the sink. Overall, I would come back for my nephew and to bring my friends' children. A great place in the area and something new for them to see/play.

The managers accommodated to my daughters bday very well They helped set up the tables such as decor and arrangements, served food, and game cards for a decent cost per person. Most importantly my 12 year old daughter truly enjoyed herself and the children. They aslo have a bar for the adult, sort of like a private dave and buster on the west side of oahu kapolei!! The staff also helped cleaned up. Staff, location, games, table assignments, affordable and perfect

    Route 66 burger

We came here for my nephews birthday party. It's smaller than than I thought it was but big enough to have kid run around and play. Price wise it's a bit expensive which is probably the only down side to it al. I ordered the Route 66 which is basically a mushroom and Swiss cheese burger. To be fair their food is good. I'm pretty particular with my burger so I was surprised when their mushroom burger was well seasoned. The mushrooms were flavorful and not greasy. The caramelized onions had a nice bite to it, again not greasy at all. And unlike how some mushroom burgers just fall apart when you take a bites this one didn't. It was also the perfect size not to big where you need a knife and fork to eat it, because if you're going to eat your burger with a fork and knife it defeats the purpose of ordering a burger. At the same time it's not too small that you still left feeling hungry afterwards. The bacon and cheese tater tots are a must! I like how you get a taste of the bacon, some of the cheese, the tater tot, and the freshness of green onions. And given that everything is just piled on you would think it would be a soggy mess. Again, I was surprised that it wasn't. Will definitely be back probably on a less busier day. Did I mention, there's a tv at each booth?

Service was a bit off. We arrived around 8pm and there were only a few tables seated, but the host seemed confused and it took a while to get us seated. Our server also wasn't the friendliest, just not the most welcoming or confident vibe. When we asked what fish was included in the course, she said she didn't know and just reassured us it was "good quality," which didn't feel very reassuring. We ordered the Sushi & Hand Roll Course (about $50 per person), which is actually a pretty good deal for the amount of food and slightly upscale feel. It included seasonal fish crudo, 9 pieces of chef's choice premium sushi, and a choice of two hand rolls: we picked shrimp tempura and spicy crab. One downside was the spicy crab hand roll used imitation crab, which was disappointing since that wasn't disclosed and we assumed it would be real crab based on the options given. Also, before we ordered dessert, our server told us the kitchen was already closed. Totally understandable, but there was no heads-up or last call, which would've been helpful. We still ended up getting the black sesame panna cotta, which was actually really good. Overall, the food was decent and the vibe is nice for a date night, but the service could definitely be improved.
