I have heard of this new place and had to try it out. Lots of free parking, and easy to find. When we got there, the place was busy, lots of people eating in, and lots of takeout orders. When you first entered, you look up at the menu selection and order your meal. We managed to find a seat, and wait for our sandwich order. Lots of worker, but I guess they are new and not experienced, the food just sits on the counter, till a worker calls your name. People that arrive after me, who ordered after me, got their meals before me. Anyway, the atmosphere was good and vibing. The sandwiches were great, and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Pastrami Sandwich

Second visit and once again, we were not disappointed! This time around we had the Bobbie. This was a Thanksgiving meal in a sandwich! Turkey, cranberry and stuffing....DELICIOUS!! Once again, I'm not a fan of sandwiches, but this place changed my mind!! LOVE IT!!!! Check them out!! **After reading one of the yelp reviews, a little disappointed that we were not offered the side of gravy. Definitely would have completed our meal.

Decided to drop in and try a sandwich and wasn't quite sure how to feel about it. The positives first -- there's plenty of parking, the staff was very friendly, and the location is easy to find since it faces the road. Always appreciate a smooth, welcoming start. That said, it was really hard to hear while ordering because the music was pretty loud. I felt like I had to raise my voice just to be heard, which made things a little awkward. I took my sandwich to go, and when I opened it up, I honestly thought they forgot the top slice of bread. There was a generous amount of filling, but the bread itself was so small that it looked like an open-faced sandwich. The flavors were definitely there -- no complaints on taste -- but the bread-to-filling ratio threw it off a bit. I know they're new, so I'm hoping it's just a few opening kinks that need ironing out. I'll give them a few months and try again because the potential is definitely there.

Cheesesteak Fries

Overpriced and underwhelming. Ample parking as this is located on the corner next to Daichii Ramen and Consolidated Kapolei. Open daily until 2100 so that's nice. Greeted right as we walked in - staff is friendly and attentive. Decided on a small American Wagyu club meal, small classic club sandwich, cheesesteak fries, and a side au jus. $54 for 2 sandwiches, cheesesteak fries, one beverage, side of au jus and chips but they forgot to give us our bag of chips! Cold subs were nothing special and honestly we prefer Jersey Mike over Capriotti's. But what was absolutely disappointing was the cheesesteak fries. They are priced at $12.49 and the picture shown on their website looks absolutely nothing like what you're served! Small portion, COLD FRIES, cheesesteak has zero flavor - over all this is a hard pass! We didn't try hot subs or salads so I'm solely basing this review on cold subs, fries, and price. There's better out there!

American Wagyu French Dip

This new sandwich shop just opened up by the old Kapolei theater and I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with the food but the service was great! Ordered an American Wagyu French Dip small size(10in) which is "Prime Grade Wagyu Beef from Snake River Farms topped with melted Swiss cheese, mayo, and a dash of black pepper. Served with a side of hot Au Jus sauce for dipping". The wagyu beef tasted like regular beef, barely had any mayo or seasoning, must've been the "dash of pepper" that lacked seasoning. The au jus sauce was super bland like watered down gravy soup. It didn't add any flavor to the sandwich except make it soggy. It just wasn't the hype that I've been hearing. The prices did not match the portion and quality. $18 for a small sandwich. The service on the other hand, the tall boy at the counter was very nice! Overall, maybe I could have gotten a different sandwich but the American Wagyu French Dip was advertise as one of the most ordered/popular which did not live up to what people say. Earls sandwich shop in the mall was far better tasting in my humble opinion.

So glad that Capriottis finally opened up in my area! I believe it was their grand opening week and it definitely showed in how busy they were. Lines out the door, people packed inside and out yet they did not skip a beat in customer service and quality of the food. I had no clue what to get, thankfully this lady ahead of me has had their sandwiches before and recommended me her favorites. She mentioned their Philly Cheesesteak and their Capistrami was delicious so I went with the Capistrami. It was loaded with delicious pastrami and a coleslaw that added a nice creamy crunchy complement to the savory pastrami. The prices were fair in my humble opinion. Barely a couple dollars more than Subway. I'd gladly pay that for a really delicious sandwich. I ordered the medium size which was big enough for 2 servings. Customer service was very quick yet I never felt rushed one bit. Small positive suggestion, call out orders louder. It was packed and loud inside so a loud voice would help people waiting for their order. Also some of us opted to wait outside and a loud attentive person would be great for that role. A couple of us had to go in to check on our orders to find it was already ready. Recommend!

I'm excited that they decided to open a shop here in Kapolei. I only had went to the Kahala location and each time it was amazing. Nothing falls short at the Kapolei location either. As the crew adjusts I am sure they will adapt. It was pretty busy the day I went. I need to try a different sandwich to enjoy the full experience. But what I heard a lot of people were ordering the HOT BOBBIE. One day I will try that also. The shop is located on the corner of the building that houses the Kapolei Consolidated Theater, Magnolia, Broke Da Mouth and Daiichi. It's a nice location visible from Kamokila Boulevard the vibe is casual and a hip place to be. Thanks again Capriotti for coming to Kapolei!

It's new and they have kinks. I wanted to try this new place out. I've ordered from the ones on the mainland for years and enjoyed them all. The menu is basically the same and the sandwiches are good but I was sticker shocked when I saw the prices. And of course, the take out menu doesn't display the prices. You don't see the cost till you walk in and look up. I guess it's the psychological strategy. The wait time is bad. But they are a brand new store and I'm sure they will improve over time. As for ordering online, you're still waiting. When I got there, people had been already waiting for 20 plus minutes. The sandwiches are good. Plenty of filling and with the slaw gives the sandwich a nice texture. Plus I really like their slaw. The fries, I feel are made to order because they are fresh and that can justify the long wait time :p The fries are seasoned and crispy. Overall four stars well three point five rounded up. The price is steep but the taste is there. Wait time is a bummer but should improve over time. M

Classic Italian with fries

Wanted to try the new sandwich place in kapolei..went there when they first opened, didn't wait that long since we got there in time for the lunch rush.I ordered the small classic Italian add bacon && fries which is a must to get && side pickles & sweet peppers.they are located by kamokila blvd near don don donki..they did not disappoint & they give lots of meat!

Bobbie sandwich with gravy on the side, so good!
Jenn R.

Gave this a place a second chance and got their most popular item, the Bobbie sandwich (Cold sub). Definitely a lot better than the last sandwich we ordered. If you come here, the Bobbie is the way to go. Did not disappoint. Make sure to have the gravy on the side to dip it into! Medium was the perfect size for 2, total cost was $20, not bad for a simple fulfilling dinner.

Tomato bisque

So our first experience was sub par. The location was busy and they had a lot of workers making sandwiches but just 2 registers to take orders. We came by around 2:30 pm on Saturday. The line to order moved quickly but we waited about 10 minutes for our food. They had already run out of several Meats. The prices are steep imo but you do get a nice size sandwiche with a good amount of meat. I was excited to try the BOB but disappointed after eating it. They put the cranberry sauce on the bottom which caused the bread to be soggy. The turkey was dry and hard. The stuffing was good. My daughter enjoyed her salad but needed an extra dressing that cost .50 for a tiny cup. The "loaded" fries were a joke, as you can see in the photo. The wagyu meat was delicious and the only thing worth the price imo but I would not call this "loaded" by any means. My husband wanted a pastrami sandwiche but they ran out so he got a chicken bacon ranch instead. The bacon was super oily. He also ordered a meatball sandwich but didn't eat it because he hates onions and they were in the marinara sauce. Tomato bisque soup was $6.50 for a half filled cup. Overall disappointed and probably won't return.

The sandwich and pastrami fries were amazing! I got the Classic Italian medium size sub. Seasoned just right, so you can appreciate all the fresh flavors. The pastrami fries are so unique with the sauce and it did not disappoint. Excellent customer service as well! I thought it was so adorable that when you leave a tip the cashier will yell "tip money!" and all the workers yell back "thank you!" I'll definitely be frequenting this sandwich shop.
