Service was great and fast! Good ambiance and the food was good. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was good and the menu is creative!

Kudos to the two young ladies who helped me today--the service was fast, smooth, and friendly. The cheese dogs were a hit with my little one, definitely got a thumbs up! Special thank you to Bre and Ivana for the great conversation--it really made the experience even better. The music was on point too. I'll definitely be back this week for my usual visit! read more

Let me start by saying I am not a corndog lover, but my husband had cravings for these, so we decided to give Mr. Cow a try. We ordered the Mr. Cow Classic, Fried Potato, and Caramel Puff corndogs. The Mr. Cow Classic Corndog is a sweet and savory treat. The batter is thick, almost like mochi, which is quite different from the usual corndog batter. The Fried Potato Corndog is similar to the classic but is wrapped with bite-sized potatoes. The batter is still thick and mochi-like, which didn't quite hit the mark for me. The Caramel Puff Corndog was the one I liked the most, though it's not like a usual corndog and feels more like a dessert. It's sweet and wrapped with sweet barley puffs. My husband did get the mozzarella filling and not the beef sausage, which worked well for this. Personally, I prefer the traditional American batter for corndogs. The mochi-style batter just didn't do it for me. read more

I'm surprised that this place is rated 4 stars... I came in to this location on a Sunday, about 1:30pm or so, with my mom and my two kids. When we came in, there were 3 girls sitting at one of the tables waiting for their order of 3 corn dogs while one employee stood at the fryer watching them fry. My mom and I went to the counter area to check out the menu. My mom placed her order for a corn dog, and I waited as the employee went to drop her corn dog into the fryer, and then pull out the ones for the girls and finished off their order. She gave them their order and then turned around and proceeded to stand at the fryer and watch the one corn dog cook. I stood there, waiting for her to acknowledge my existence so I could order. That never happened, so I stood closer to the counter and asked if I could place my order, she continued to ignore me. Ummm, okay... don't know what the issue is, but that is some absolutely terrible customer service. It takes almost 10 minutes to fry one corn dog. At one point, she alerted my mom that it would be 2 more minutes for her corn dog to finish, and still hadn't bothered to take my order. At that point, I told my mom that she'd probably finish eating before I even get to order my kids food. My mom then went to the front and told the employee that if she wasn't going to take my order, she'd like her money back. So guess what? The employee gave my mom her money back! She clearly didn't want me to order the 3 corn dogs that I was going to order for myself and my kids. Not sure what this girls problem was, but cool, you'll never get my attempted business again, and I will let everyone know about the terrible customer service. I don't expect perfection, this isn't a gourmet, fine dining establishment, but really though, this was BAD. read more

Service sucks. They take forever, as well to get your order out, it takes them minimum 25 minutes for two to three corn dogs most of the time. Don't know why if they are never usually that busy. read more

The food was good as it usually is, but the service was terrible today. I usually come around morning, and it's usually between either the 2 girls with similar features and height at I see often, one had glasses. These girls were my favorite each time I come in they always welcome me in and are very nice. Today I decided to come in during the afternoon around 4-5pm. I didn't see either of the girls but it was another lady with a hat and a little taller. She wasn't very nice with taking my order, it was almost as if she just wanted me to leave. It looked and felt like she did not want me there at all. I got my food but I no longer had the appetite to eat it after that experience. I'll still be ordering here again, but just maybe not in the afternoon read more

This is the first time trying this and it's so satisfying & amazing very delicious I'd love it & ordered 3 different kinds it was all good, I definitely recommend every one to try it out the services was outstanding and the Uber driver was very kind & patient. Went in today about lunch time and this was not it. This is my 2nd time there and i dont think ill be back. The 1st time I went there was a girl in a hat whose name was ivon I think, and her attitude was just so off-putting. She didn't greet me, didn't offer any kind of assistance and just overall felt like she wanted me to hurry up and get out and it wasn't anywhere near their closing time. I just chalked it up to her maybe having a bad day, it happens. Fast forward to today, I go in and the girl at the register in the red sweater was really nice! Very pleasant and helpful. I'm thinking okay, good, way better than last time. I don't know what was going on but the girl in the back, the one in the yellow shirt, same girl from the first time I went in, starts getting loud and starts yelling at the girl at the register! In front of customers. Idk, it just really rubbed me the wrong way. Unprofessional and just outright made me want to walk out. Both times I've been there that girls attitude is just straight up terrible. The only reason I'm giving this review 3 stars is because the food was fine and the other girl at the register was great. read more

We took a little trip to Ewa Beach and knew we had to stop by for some Holy Cow! Cheese dogs. We were the only ones in the store and the staff made our hot dogs fresh and delicious. I was with my daughter so I figured we would enjoy the A/C and eat inside. They were playing some BTS music videos. Without saying anything they quickly changed it to a fairy Disney movie. I thought how perfect. When I was leaving, I asked if they changed it for my daughter and they did. Now that's extremely thoughtful. Thank you guys! read more

Very interesting! Had to try at least once! It would have tasted better, I surmise, if you eat it hot! I placed my order online and the 15 "dogs" were ready as they said . . . However my order was wrong!! As double-checking the items, some dogs were the wrong type. Gotta thank the girls though, for they tried to they made the correct ones while I waited and gave them to me for free! I had 4 free dogs! However, the rest were getting cold. The office was happy that we got to try different flavors without paying extra! read more

So... stopped in yesterday and not only did their name change... BUT THEIR ENTIRE MENU. I usually order over the phone cause I know they take a little long. I ordered my usually potato dog and Seoul classic and they were like... "do you mean the holy cow?" I was a bit confused. I just said yes because I didn't want to be difficult. And then they ask what sauce, they offer honey mustard, ranch, and sweet chili. I'm a saucy gal so I wanted all three, but you can only get one sauce per hot dog. I was very surprised. For their sugar options, they have regular and powdered. And they no longer have their seasoning powder. I forgot to take picture of the dogs, but I'll be back to try their other items. I ordered the potato dog, Holy Cow, and the Yam Yam (Sweet Potato Dog) all half mozzarella and half sausage. And I was so disappointed because THEY GOT MY ORDER WRONG AND MADE THEM ALL MOZZARELLA. I obviously couldn't know until after I ate it. By the time I realized, I was already home. I will come back because I am curious about their new flavors: Spaghetti Stix, Flamimg Cheetah, Fruity Pop, Caramel Pop, and Messy Kinako. read more

No nonsense deliciousness! Been here 3 times so far. Great when more to share with and taste test! LOL Mochi in chili sauce - mochi texture is perfection! (Can't wait to try the mochi dog at Pearlridge). Oh man, that sauce, hot AF! * you've been warned Potato dog - this has easily become my favorite! It is breakfast on a stick!! Savory sausage inside, fluffy pancake like wrapping, surrounded by breakfast potato cubes. Describing it makes me want it again, LOL Spicy cheese stick - I figured the melted cheese would help tame the spice if it was too much. It wasn't too much at all and oh so ono! Crispy rice - I was surprised how much I enjoyed this!! Got it with half cheese and half sausage. I thought the sugar AND crispy rice may be too "desserty" for a savory dish, but it totally works! The crispies taste very similar to miniature Kix cereal (if such a thing were to exist... mmm). And while the sweetness was an unexpected taste to surround a dog, it has been worth me getting multiple times. Very glad it's right around the corner! Nom nom nom read more

Covid Survival Tip: With a corn dog in each hand, you can't touch your face! From Myungrang to Two Hands to Holy Cow, each spot named differently, but with the same concept and quality products! We drove all the way out to Two Hands in Ewa Beach (soon to be named Holy Cow Hawaii) and got the: - Two Hands Dog: Sprinkled with their special signature seasoning and sweet ranch sauce - Potato Dog: Potato cubes wrapped corn dog with their special dirty sauce (like a buffalo hot wing sauce) We got the best of both worlds by turning them into the half mozzarella and half sausage on the inside. I highly recommend eating them fresh (in the car or on the way to the car) so that you can get that perfect cheese pull effect and then finish it off with the dog. Not to say that it doesn't taste just as good when you get home an hour later...but if you're like me, can you really make it home (without eating it) an hour later? Even by smelling all that fried goodness the entire way home? As for the service, quick and efficient! I would definitely drive all the way out here, to try the other corn dogs on their menu! I just wish that they had Tteok-Bokki available on their menu to try as well. read more

Anyhow, this place had floors marked to remind us about physically distancing ourselves. Even with the long line, service was quick! The hotdogs were made fresh after you order. It took like 6 minutes, and bam! My order if 5 hotdogs was ready! My family LOVED the crunchimess and yummy gooey cheesy goodness in the hotdogs. I love the variety too. Love the korean snack trend. Fruity pebbles with mozzarella is a fav. Flaming cheeto is also great. Kinda a novelty but fun for the gang.

First time here. Finally was able to get down there and try it! I had the mozzarella/sausage combo with some type of mayo dressing. OMG! It was delish! Hot, crispy and very tasty! Too bad they don't have the squid ink version or the different types of dipping sauces. Service was quick and cashier very friendly! Definitely great for a quick snack! I will return! read more

Located about 4 doors down from Shiros in Ewa Beach, you just walk in order your food and go. I ordered the #6 Injeolmi dog with the yellow bean powder on the outside, while the bff got a #3 Spicy dog. In step 2 you decide how you want to stuff it...either with mozarella or cheddar cheese and/or hot dog. The concept is that of an American corn dog, but the batter is made out of rice flour... not cornmeal type. It's a corn dog EVOLUTION so to speak! This was more of a snack for us. Because there are sweet and savory choices, it'll satisfy both the sweet/savory party people! A Korean street food concept, I can see a lot of students going here after school when Covid dies dow Service was quick and great. read more

The two hands corn dog (breaded corn dog with a sweet ranch except with the mozz and cheddar cheese for additional $1 for both cheese combo) was amazing. It's crunchy, more bites than the other competitors, and of course yummy ooey cheese with each bite. These are super filling and if you feel super hungry and want some more flavor, you just try the spicy corn dog! They roll it in a sweet sauce and add it with red hot crunchy Cheetos. Every munchies dream come true! For real tho it was not so hot since it balances out with the cheeses. However, you can get the hot dog as a standard or upgrade for half cheese and half dog too for less than a buck. They are located next to Little Cesars in the Ewa Beach shopping center. Right now they have social distancing and masks wearing enforced. Nothing out of the ordinary. You can also add ketchup or mustard for the standard corn dogs. They were out of the potato dog where they is crispy wedges around the corn cake exterior. This is a cheat meal since I sensed the batter must have sugar in order for it to taste so good. Maybe it's lard but who cares rn, we are in quarantine (current 2020) so treat yourself! In my case, I am glad I biked my ass there with friends so half the guilt is down the drain. read more

Yummy fried mozzarella cheese sticks!! At first i thought ummm that's kind of yucky. I tried it and it was amazing. Taste like a malasada with cheese inside. The service was good, but the food is mediocre. If given the choice between this and Hot Dog on a Stick, I'd choose the other place.

This was my first time to Corndogs by Mr Cow. What a unique concept. I can see why especially children and young adults love this place. Fruity pebbles on a stick of fried cheese is genius. You can order cheese or a hotdog with a fried breading over with a bunch of toppings. I tried the fried cheese with sugar and it was delicious. Kind of like a malasada with cheese inside. Their is also a huge selection of Dipping Dots. I have never seen so many flavors in one place. Dipping Dots is a cool treat. It looks like little pieces of candy but nope it's ice cream. I'm updating my review because of the service. HOLY COW do they really want to be there or not because every time I go in there the person working the front counter acts like I'm killing them by just being there. I said Hello and she just stared blankly at me. Today I went in and had a swipe credit card but their machine said no swipe so I asked what to do and she asked me if I had another card to use. Are you serious? There has to be swipe option! Then when I went back in to pick up my order she just pushed it toward me, no "here's your order" No "thank you". When I was visiting Hawaii a few months ago, my friend who is Kamaāina told me we were going on a mini road trip over to Ewa Beach for Korean-style treats on a stick. I'm always up for a culinary adventure that involves a mini road trip so off we went! We put on some 90's R & B music and ventured over to Ewa Beach singing along and enjoying the drive. I ordered the signature item which is the Flaming Cheetah. I found it interesting that you get to choose your filling here. I went with half sausage and half mozzarella cheese. Even though I don't usually like spicy/hot food the spicy mayo and Flaming Hot Cheetos weren't overwhelming. I really enjoyed the varying textures. I also had a bit of what my friend ordered which featured barley puffs. It wasn't as sweet as the menu leads on and I liked the barley puffs too because of the texture they offered. I'm still thinking about HolyCow months later! I wish we had one of these in Southern California. read more

I had high hopes with all the good reviews but sad to say this place is all hype and no bite. Got the "HolyCow" classic hotdog with the half & half mozzarella/hotdog filling. Both food and service is low quality. The young girl working the counter has absolutely no personality when mechanically responding for suggestions. The batter, sauce and cheese is the best part that helped mask the junk hotdog flavor. The menu means what it says: "half & half filling" means you literally get only 1/2 of a hotdog on one side and the other half of it is just cheese which costs you $1 more! The 100% Beef Sausage "filling" actually means just a whole plain hotdog "with no extra cost" (no joke! it says that on the sign). The drinks are just canned sodas. Their slogan says "looking for a new snack" - yeah, keep looking for something better. read more

My daughter wanted a corn dog for dinner but instead of going to Safeway we decided to try these instead. Make sure to look at the new menu with the black background on Yelp if you want to phone order. We ordered the holy cow. They ask if you want sugar on it so it's your choice. I had one with and one without, both with the beef. One Holy cow with mozzarella cheese. Flaming cheetah with beef sausage and the spaghetti stix with mozzarella. My personal favorite was the spaghetti stix. Don't know if it was because I was craving spaghetti and it was perfect. The mozzarella was nice and hot. But not so horrible that my 4 year old couldn't eat her Holy Cow version. The food was all in all good. I just think it was a bit weird that on their tv had girls eating the mozzarella stix. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had not checked out the reviews prior to going. Was exploring Ewa for other reasons and this place was one of the stops. The strip mall here has plenty of parking which is nice and so different from town. The store was empty even though it was close to lunchtime. Got the spicy dog. I didn't understand that you choose the filling. So you can get all cheese or cheese plus sausage which I guess is extra. I thought these were hot dogs which is on me. I ordered the mozzarella. It was basically a delicious very large fried mozzarella stick. The coating was sweet and spicy and to me tasted like a honey sriracha sauce. The people with me told me that flaming hot Cheetos tastes like this. The cheese stick starts to fall from the chopstick it's on so eat it carefully and quickly. It was very delicious and I enjoyed it. However, I am learning that large amounts of deep fried things, especially cheese, are a bit of a gamble for me. Suffice to say I was glad that Ka Makana Alii is close by and Macy's allows the public to use their nice clean bathrooms. While it was tasty and I don't blame them for me GI intolerance, I think maybe I won't be back since really I shouldn't be eating this processed fried foods with colors and flavors that remind people of flaming hot Cheetos, which I've successfully avoided eating. read more

What a gem in Ewa Beach! Located conveniently in the Ewa Beach shopping center it's a hard restaurant to miss! Initially I didn't know how I felt about glorified corn dogs but seeing the reviews I couldn't wait to give them a try . Walking in I know there use to be a seating area but due to Covid regulations they are only offering take out. Menu is small and simple. It provides a picture as well as a sufficient description for each corn dog you can order. Today we went with the injeolmi and potato dog. It was ONO. Injeolmi dog: Perfect blend of savory and sweet. Little more on the sweeter side but it works so well! The crispyness of the outer layer, the savory and juicy dog inside, the light sweetness and consistency of the condensed milk in the outside. A. Must. Try. Think I ate it in 30 seconds? Haha. Potato Dog: As soon as you take the first bite, you're pretty much hypnotized. and that hint of spice from their sauce added with the softness of both the batter and the crunchy outside of the potato, you kind of feel weakened...in a good way! It was extremely savory and I did NOT want it to end! New favorite go to. - the gf Prices are right, service is friendly, food comes out quick. Fast, easy and convenient meal. Heard about this place but kind of far from me to drive all the way to ewa. But I saw someone posted it on Instagram so I decided to go this place. Got to this place and I tried at least 4 different hotdogs. I ordered Injeolmi dog- this was insanely yummy. Has some kind sweet sauce and coated some yellow bean powder super tasty. I didn't even see this in korea maybe nowadays there is, but this is definitely korean injeolmi taste into the corn dog crazy. Spicy dog- spicy Nashville style seasoning and special spicy signature sauce was tasty too. The spicy seasoning was kind of spicy Cheetos (flaming hot flavor) crumbled. The sauce I couldn't find out what it was but super yum and all goes good together. Name was the spicy dog but not too crazy spicy which was good because even kids or whoever can handle the spiciness. Potato dog- this was so common street food dog in korea. But this place nailed it. Every each bite reminds me that I was eating this dog back in my elementary school time but this place has best one in my life. The potato were so crispy and wasn't dry no word to say its super good so if you like fries this is the best one for you! The dirty sauce? Even make this dog perfectly Yum. Two hand dog- since I'm not a big fan of ranch sauce, but I just wanted to taste so I ordered it and it was super good too. Creamy and crispy dog does good together. If I rate from 1 is the highest and 4 is the lowest below are my ranking.. #1 spicy dog #2 Injeolmi dog #3 Potato dog #4 two hands If you like sausage just order regular and it automatically come with sausage inside but me I upgraded to have it with cheese only, 1 with cheese and sausage inside. It was very friendly service and very clean especially during covid time definitely don't mind driving all the way to ewa from town. read more

First off it was sooo wrong of me to think "ah all Korean hot dog places are the same". And don't judge this place because it's located deep in ewa beach. This place is BOMB! Service is quick I phone ordered it and it was ready to go when I got there. good quality food. Also the packaging is great for take out - it really helps to keep the food good and not all smashed and gross. The hot dog has almost a smoky flavor to it almost like Costco hot dogs. The outside is so light and crunchy. I didn't even eat it right away - had to wait almost 45 minutes and it was still good. I have to go back and try it fresh. I am totally going to drive back here. I think it is much better than the places in aiea or town. The pricing is also a little less and I really like all the different combinations that they are capable of. Tried the classic, two hands and the rice one. Best overall is the classic. Too bad they don't have the cheesy mustard sauce - if they did it would be perfect. The two hands was great with the cheese but I a little much for me with the hot dog but still it was delish! The crispy rice was ok but I really like the added crunch factor the rice gives it. I got the potato dog with half mozzarella and half sausage. The corn dog was great up until I got to the sausage portion. I noticed that there was something gooey/dough-y and assumed it was just mozzarella that had melted down. However, I soon realized that it was not mozzarella and that the batter was actually undercooked. I removed the batter completely off to see if it was cheese, but it wasn't. It was undercooked batter. I'm unsure if the dough was undercooked all throughout the corn dog or just at the bottom portion where the sausage is. I could've been eating undercooked/raw batter without even knowing. I am extremely disappointed. read more
