Cause the burger the last time was horrible. I felt how can you mess up on a simple BLT... my first Bite was , no way.... I opened the sandwich up and also tried to chew on the first bite.... had to spit it out. The Bacon was Burnt, Black like charcoal,dry and old... How and Why would you even serve old, burnt,tomato end pieces, lettuce so wilted..why would you even serve it... I took it to the manager and explained.. when me and my wife walked in here earlier, there was looks like a party was happening?? About 5--6 cooks and yourself blasting the music , cooking , joking , having fun.... Nothing wrong with have fun at work, but not in the service area of Customers...There's Other restaurants closing cause times are hard and expensive. How Hard is it to make a BLT Sandwich...at 7pm. -Managers answer: sorry we cook bacon only in the morning.... why would you disclose that it's that old... I had to ask the manager can I get a new sandwich?? Great customer service! Not only were we greeted as soon as we walked through the door, the young lady that took our order was super patient with us and helped us with our choices. I ended up getting a little cheeseburger, grilled cheese, hamburger, regular fries and a milkshake. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and had a homemade taste to it. Five Guys is a classic burger spot that always hits the spot. I got the little bacon cheeseburger, and despite the name, it was plenty. I love how the menu is simple and you can choose all of your add-ons. The Cajun fries were great, and the strawberry milkshake had strawberry chunks and a smooth consistency that wasn't overly thick, making it easy to drink. Located in Mililani Town Center next to Bank of Hawaii with plenty of free parking. It was a Friday night around 6:30 and our first time eating at this franchise ever. Walked in and was welcomed nicely by girl behind the counter. The menu is posted up above her and in nice large easy to read letters. We were anxious to try their milkshakes as heard many good things. We ordered the bacon burgers with fries but when we asked for the milkshake she told us the machine wasn't working. Wasn't working? On a Friday night at 6:30 with no sign on front door saying this or at the counter either or could have told us before we started the order. Just saying because the front window had a large sign advertising their shakes so if it's not working - post a sign "out of order." Come to find out they were "cleaning it." Again... cleaning jt on a Friday night at 6:30? This happens at the end of the shift. Not anytime during the shift. Waited outside for our food and they have several large round tables with connected seats, so be careful getting in and out to not trip over the connected bar. Our food was in a paper bag and when we opened it up the burgers looked very unappetizing. Smashed bun with burgers haphazardly on top of each other. Cheese messily smeared. Hardly any of the extra toppings which are free, but still, thin tiny tomato slices and a tiny touch of lettuce leaf. And then, we couldn't find the bacon! Lifted up both our burgers and also the second patties but no bacon. Hubby went inside with both burgers and they said "oh sorry no bacon?" Handed him aluminum foil with overdone and some pieces burned to a crisp inside and they were cold. They get one star for the French fries. Perfectly prepared with slight crisp and mealy on inside. Served in large paper Dixie-looking cups and she gave us little cups filled with ketchup which was good. The soda machine was nice- clean and lots of selection. Also free water and ice. All in all we paid $50 for our meal- two double patty bacon burgers with fries and one small root beer. Sorry to say we won't be returning unless to try their milkshakes but we will ask them first if the machine is working. read more

I enjoy coming to Five Guys. One of the biggest reasons in addition to the great tasting food (especially the fries) is how the staff takes care to accommodate food allergies. My go to is the Little Bacon Cheeseburger in a bowl. Once I identify that I have food allergies, they ensure they those preparing my food are aware while cooking it. They even change their gloves. First time here, ever. And I live Mililani. I was hesitant because it was so pricy. I ordered the grilled cheese, add patty ~$4, free add ons, I added lettuce and grilled onions. I'm a townie and there isn't a Five Guys in town. I'm always happy when I see this chain. Today, I was at the Mililani Town Center and had to stop by. We had just ate at another location, but I needed to get my milkshake. Five Guys has the best shakes, not too thin and not too thick. It's just perfect made with high quality ice cream that's not overly sweet. I ordered the cookies and cream and it was delicious. I also got some fries with it. Their fries were never my favorite. I like my fries crispy and theirs is not, even though it's fresh out of the fryer when you order it. Their fries also contains the skin which is fine by me. There was only one worker working behind the counter and making the food. Luckily, it wasn't busy. She took our order, made our shake, then fried our fries. She was nice and asked how everything was. My 2nd time there and my rating has not changed. Kind of average food, much above average prices, and below average service. When ordering the burgers, the server seemed a bit irritated that we did not order in the following exact sequence: A. little burger, B. toppings, C. little cheese burger, D. toppings, E. fries, F. To get my husband to go riding with me on an errand I had to get him a milkshake from somewhere. A milkshake from McDonald's, Jack in the Box or Five Guys are the only places in Mililani that we know of. Depending on the quality of milkshakes is the price that you will pay. Therefore, we had a discussion about this as we drove to my errand. After my errand was completed, I had to owe him the milkshake that he craved for. Lol. Jack in the Box and Five Guys was within walking distance. We walked over to JITB first. Their limited flavor of milkshakes did not appeal to us, and so we decided to walk over to FG. All I can say is, WOW!!! They had a whole section dedicated to milkshakes. So many different choices. It took me a minute to look over and finally decide which milkshake would go home with me. As we waited only a few minutes, our milkshakes were done in a jiffy. I ordered the salted caramel and it was UNBELIEVABLE!!!I want another one now. Lol. My husband and daughter ordered a malt flavored one. They really enjoyed theirs as well. The prices are a little more than McDonald's and Jack-in-the Box, but it was worth every penny. Five Guys came to Mililani in June 2016... and today was my first time here (please don't judge me)! My bf and I haven't been to Five Guys yet, so we decided to give it a try! There was a few customers waiting outside for their order so I'm glad they weren't completely slow! My bf and I decided to share a cheeseburger with all the way toppings. We asked how big their large fries were and the guy showed us the cup size, so we got that and a coke to drink. I skipped the milkshake because I'm kinda sensitive to lactose and I don't think milkshakes are worth the stomach cramps lol! I didn't get to take pictures of the menu or anything else because I got thrown off when the cashier asked if we were visiting... LOL WTH?! First, we're in a pandemic so people should not be visiting and even if they were visiting, idk what tourist would come all the way to Mililani just for Five Guys?! And then he figured out this was our first time here which made it more awkward... Haha!! I thought the food was okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Our group has been here a few times after golfing and every time we've had a good experience. Easy to order and good amount of variations to their burgers and once ordered they jump on making your order. Thought they're a little more pricy than McD's or BK, it's not an inexpensive meal but four guys having burgers, sodas, and sharing two orders of fries runs you about $70+. Potatoes today came from Pasco, WA. Name little fries is also deceiving in size as one was filled in a cup, perfect mini to indulge plus another scoop of fries found in bag. Sufficient for two to nom, nom, nom. My son and I split half of the fries. Kindly requested to have coffee milkshake blended thick. One of the female workers warned me I'm not sure if this is thick enough. Appeared to be runny, liquid shake and my intuition was correct. Only 5 more calories with the perfect coffee to dairy ratio taste! Not thrilled it was runny, but I had to have dessert first because shake was too perishable at this point. The employee taking the order was not super attentive , we order a burger and then fries and then she asks if we want fries.and seemed annoyed that we asked what the difference was between five guys fries and cajan style. Just not a great customer service experience. The drink machine must be out because any drink we tried to get the flavor was missing. And we over heard others complain also. Came here w/my family of 8 on a Saturday 1.15.21. Prices were a bit crazy but that seems to be the norm nowadays . We were here to experience and we'll it was a mix of things that we experienced. While in line a lady behind us didn't have a mask, tried using her jacket to mask up they told her get out. She said some stuff that we all could relate to but what I knew should've been done if they cared about customers was they could've given her another option. Came in on a whim to pick up lunch for hubs & myself. There were a handful of people in line in front of me mostly in uniform. The place was not busy yet wait time for the order was quite lengthy. The price tag is quite hefty for a take out place and I was kinda disappointed as I looked into my 2 packages. My tab was $34+ for 2 burgers and 2 small fries(one plain and one cajun.) The wrapped burgers looked quite tiny and the fries were placed in small cups like kid sized cups at other places. You take your own condiments. I ordered one All The Way meaning all the veggies, ketchup and mustard and one All The Way minus the mustard. Once I got home I couldn't tell which one had no mustard. As luck would have it, I bit into mine, mustard! Fortunately there was very little of it with the cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onions so all was well. Honestly, the taste of the burger(2 thin all beef patties) was delish but not for the price. Interesting cuz hubs always orders burgers and he said don't go back again. It was nice to have a choice of two kinds of fries to order though. I guess for the price I could have had a nice sit down meal like at hibachi. Chalk it up to live and learn. I gave special instructions for the lettuce. Being that the place was not particularly busy, the workers were very accommodating to my crazy, yet practical, request. My burger contraption started as a cheese burger with the lettuce following the toasted bun--the sequence of layers are bun, unchopped lettuce, toppings and patties, unchopped lettuce, and then bun. My burger has two patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, grilled onions, ketchup, raw onions, grilled mushroom, and bbq sauce. Although the toppings are free, they are not unlimited in quantity. The taste of the burger over all, does not offer anything significant. Yes, there are toppings of veggies and sauces. The problem lies in the patties that have no beefy taste and hardly any noteworthy seasoning. All that effort in building a personalized burger was wasted due to its uninspired beef patties. OMG I never knew I liked peanuts LOL. I was at my gym and afterwards, I called my kids to see if they wanted burgers. My son wanted a BLT, daughter wanted a burger with quite a few toppings (you can put as many toppings on your sandwiches for the same price). They also ordered 2 "little Cajun fries". Don't be fooled by the "little size", they throw extra fries in the bag and you get a sh*t ton oops - you get a LOT of fries. They're hot, slightly spicy, and super delicious. The burger was something else - huge, lots of toppings, and my daughter rated it as the "best burger in Hawaii". Can't get better than that! My son strangely doesn't like burgers, but luckily they also have BLTs on the menu. It's served on a hamburger bun, with lots of bacon, lettuce, tomato, plus he requested onions and mayo. He also said it was the best BLT he'd ever had. I have to say that the food is on the pricey side here, but everything is expensive during these post plague times.... plus you get free peanuts.
