The way the line is always cranking out of the location, I never would have guessed y'all would have given them only 2.5 stars lol. Anyway, It's McDonalds... and it's fast food. I never have high expectations but on the rare occasion that I do want to grab food from here, my food (although sometimes thrown together sloppily) is always hot, and always accurate. What more could you ask for? I must say though.. since these are all franchised, they are a bit stingy with the deals on the App. I think Waikele has more offerings when I'm curious to check. read more

I can't comment on my sandwich as all I received was buns, sauce, and cheese. The employees were very friendly and I was thinking I was going to post a great review; until I got home and actually opened my food items. My Grandma McFlurry didn't have much butterscotch flavor to it, nor crumbles. It seemed just a little bit was sprinkled on the top; not mixed throughout. The sandwich was missing the fish. I called and was told they'd replace my items upon my return. However, I live 15 miles away! I'm not sure when's the next time I'll be back there. Nor, do I want to travel that distance to get a replacement. Maybe they should offer a bit more for the trouble. read more

I hesitated to add to the extremely long list of bad reviews. However, if management takes the feedback serious; then these reviews could really benefit them if they make positive adjustments. I hate to admit that I can recall 10+ bad experiences here. But I'll just name a few: -As seen in photo, my child's happy meal came with 8 pieces of fries. -Common errors like missing items happens everywhere, but I resolve that by always checking my bag before driving off. -I once waited 1.5 hrs for an order I placed at the kiosk. Tip: avoid going on Sunday mornings during football season. Lots of families stop here before heading to the games at the Mililani Middle School field. -2 drive thru lanes we clearly open. But they were only answering/taking orders from one of the them. People were reversing out and jumping to the other lane to place orders (me being one of them) I kindly let the worker know of the situation and she started going off with telling me that customers are "stupid" for driving in the lane with the cone blocking the entrance. I told her there was no cone out there. She argued with me that there is a cone. -alright girl, you win just please give me my food. As I exited the drive thru, I seen a worker walking to the lane to put the missing cone that was NOT there. This worker in particular seems to have a bad attitude a lot of times. I didn't catch her name but she's one of the younger workers, short and frequently at the drive thru windows. She could use a little more customer service training. read more

Decided to dine in with my Little Mister on Sunday morning. Ordered at the kiosk because no one was at the counter. Also noted all the signs that soft drinks were not available He chose a table and we waited. At least 6 cars ordered and left before we got our order and at least a dozen people had piled up inside the front of the restaurant after us too: 1) for Door Dash 2) to order or 3) waiting for their orders and none of the staff seemed bothered. They prioritize the drive thru here even though all our money is green. So, if you don't mind waiting and don't mind not being able to get a soft drink and don't mind catching attitude when THEY forget to give you butter/syrup and you have to ask for it, well this McDs will be just fine for you. read more

We get to the drive thru at 10:10am to pick up our mobile order, no one is helping us, the line does NOT move. Service sucked today at the McDonalds in Mauka. The lady who took my order, had to redo something when I got to the first window and asked the manager for an override. After the manager does her thing, the employee tells her "no cheese", in regards to my order. Then, the employee tells her "why did you allow it? Next time she comes back, she's going to say the lady...", all while I'm still there at the window. I get to the next window, and the girl hands me my order...and its not plain, how I requested when I first ordered. I bring it up and the girl had the nerve to say "you didn't tell her in time". I wanted to argue back, but there was no point. Then, she asked me (not that nicely) if I wanted them to make a new one but I dont want them messing with my food so I declined (probably rolled my eyes) and left. I have encountered the first employee many times and her customer service has always sucked. She doesn't greet you, smile or say thank you. She always looks so unhappy. There are other employees there, or were there, that are so much more customer service oriented. The inside update is nice. The tables are half dirty but the employees are sitting around on break? Table service doesn't work. You put in your table number in the app, then they yell your name and don't bring it to the table. Why put the table number? Stop here sometimes with my buddies, sometimes it's good but most of the time it doesn't end well. Their kiosk ran out of the receipt paper once so i couldn't get my order, I told the employees about it but they outright ignored me, so I ended up doing another order to the same result and at that point I just left. They also got my order wrong, I ordered a large Caramel Macchiato and they gave me a Small Iced Caramel Macchiato, i told the employees and they said i have to order again which i ended up doing two more times cuz they messed it up again. This is my favorite McDonald's to go to. I have one closer to where I live but I will drive the extra 10 minutes to go to this one for several reasons. 1. The uncle that works the drive through is awesome! They need to give that man a raise! He is always so pleasant and sweet. He even gives me tips on how to save money letting me know if I buy the large fry instead of 2 small ones it's more worth it. He even told me that I could buy plain hamburger patties no salt for my dogs for $0.40 each. 2. If they mess up they will make it up! No McDonald's is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and with how busy these guys are I'm surprised they don't mess up more often when I come through. But when they do they take responsibility and they will usually give you something extra like a coupon for a free item or an extra fry or Burger. It really pays to BE KIND! 3. I've only gone in once or twice and only dined in once. Their drive through is extremely busy compared to the restaurant because there's always seating inside.
