A very tiny McDonald's located in the Gateway at Mililani Mauka, this is considered the OG of Mililani Mauka as they were here along with the gas station before all those other shopping stores were built (ex: Longs, Gyukaku, etc.). The overall space of the restaurant is nice and clean, but the restrooms can be a hit or miss. They have those foot door openers, I don't old use those cause the actual door was sticky (I am trying not to think about why it was sticky). The drive-thru can be hectic and backed up if you go during the peak lunch/dinner hours, the staff were nice, but be aware they do prioritize the drive-thru so once I had to wait a really long time for food as I had gone inside. They also seem to have a lot of items not in stock at this location, such as their lattes or speciality drinks, so if you want something out of the norm and not their staples (like a Big Mac) I would go to the Kipapa location. Now their overall food quality is good, taste just like any McDonald's, just be aware that this location can be a hit or miss depending on what you want and the timeframe of service. read more

Food is amazing and service from the people at the fist window was great!! Had a great experience at McDonald's! They were super kind and gave us extra sauce without making it a big deal. We really appreciated the extra touch and the great customer service. Definitely made our experience better! The time was around 9:00pm 9/24/26 read more

The way the line is always cranking out of the location, I never would have guessed y'all would have given them only 2.5 stars lol. Anyway, It's McDonalds... and it's fast food. I never have high expectations but on the rare occasion that I do want to grab food from here, my food (although sometimes thrown together sloppily) is always hot, and always accurate. What more could you ask for? I must say though.. since these are all franchised, they are a bit stingy with the deals on the App. I think Waikele has more offerings when I'm curious to check. read more

This place sucks!!! Do NOT order Mcflurry's from this place. Today 6/16/26 I went there and ordered 2 Oreo Mcflurry's with extra Oreos. This is what the workers did, they Just added the Oreos on top and did NOT blend the Mcflurry's. So lazy!!! this happened twice. This Mcdonalds just lost our business, I will let my friends that live in mauka about this incident. read more

Had a bad experience with a young man being annoyed over my order, at around 11pm on Friday night. I had just gotten off work so I went to grab a bite to eat for my family. The attitude was very uncalled for. Anyways, the food is good and service is relatively fast if you go through the drive thru. Curbside takes extremely long. Regardless, relatively okay location. read more

A total hot mess and their customer service is in the toilet. You can wait forever for your order and the employees will ignore you like you're air. When you finally say something, they don't even apologize for their incompetence. read more

I can't comment on my sandwich as all I received was buns, sauce, and cheese. The employees were very friendly and I was thinking I was going to post a great review; until I got home and actually opened my food items. My Grandma McFlurry didn't have much butterscotch flavor to it, nor crumbles. It seemed just a little bit was sprinkled on the top; not mixed throughout. The sandwich was missing the fish. I called and was told they'd replace my items upon my return. However, I live 15 miles away! I'm not sure when's the next time I'll be back there. Nor, do I want to travel that distance to get a replacement. Maybe they should offer a bit more for the trouble. read more

I hesitated to add to the extremely long list of bad reviews. However, if management takes the feedback serious; then these reviews could really benefit them if they make positive adjustments. I hate to admit that I can recall 10+ bad experiences here. But I'll just name a few: -As seen in photo, my child's happy meal came with 8 pieces of fries. -Common errors like missing items happens everywhere, but I resolve that by always checking my bag before driving off. -I once waited 1.5 hrs for an order I placed at the kiosk. Tip: avoid going on Sunday mornings during football season. Lots of families stop here before heading to the games at the Mililani Middle School field. -2 drive thru lanes we clearly open. But they were only answering/taking orders from one of the them. People were reversing out and jumping to the other lane to place orders (me being one of them) I kindly let the worker know of the situation and she started going off with telling me that customers are "stupid" for driving in the lane with the cone blocking the entrance. I told her there was no cone out there. She argued with me that there is a cone. -alright girl, you win just please give me my food. As I exited the drive thru, I seen a worker walking to the lane to put the missing cone that was NOT there. This worker in particular seems to have a bad attitude a lot of times. I didn't catch her name but she's one of the younger workers, short and frequently at the drive thru windows. She could use a little more customer service training. read more

Did dine in: - Service slow - a sign on the register encourages use of the automated kiosk to make your order. - Gotta be assertive to "gently" remind staff that you're waiting for an order cuz it feels like your kiosk order went to nowhere. -Always a bad sign if you walk in and see a bunch of customers sitting at their booths but still waiting for food. -Maybe they prioritize drive thru cuz that where the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". - Definitely not an experience that meets franchise standards. - this location needs to audit their workflow. Something's off. read more

Decided to dine in with my Little Mister on Sunday morning. Ordered at the kiosk because no one was at the counter. Also noted all the signs that soft drinks were not available He chose a table and we waited. At least 6 cars ordered and left before we got our order and at least a dozen people had piled up inside the front of the restaurant after us too: 1) for Door Dash 2) to order or 3) waiting for their orders and none of the staff seemed bothered. They prioritize the drive thru here even though all our money is green. So, if you don't mind waiting and don't mind not being able to get a soft drink and don't mind catching attitude when THEY forget to give you butter/syrup and you have to ask for it, well this McDs will be just fine for you. read more

Came to McDonald's with my son and they started a new toy today ! Pokemon! The front counter person Lauren helped me and she was so helpful! The managers Rhea and James helped with any questions I had about this promotion. It was a nice and quiet day unlike some days where it's really loud. And according to my son the food was really good (he got nuggets and fries haha) but we'll be back he wants more of the Pokemon cards (: read more

Between the old rude Filipino guy with a fake Rolex and the incompetent managers, I don't know what's worse. We get to the drive thru at 10:10am to pick up our mobile order, no one is helping us, the line does NOT move. We can't get out of line because they're cars behind us, by the time someone helped us it was 10:45am and the guy said "sorry we can't make your order because we're no longer serving breakfast" no shit, you only took 30mins. Just drive to another location, the workers here are all idiots! read more

This review would be one star if it wasn't for JC (Jaycee?). Made a curbside order and waited 45 minutes. Then went through the drive thru line for another 30 minutes to try to retrieve my order since I couldn't go to another McDonalds without getting charged for this dumpster fire. No one seemed to care until I got to the final window and JC was so patient and understanding and apologetic for everyone else's screw ups. Give her a raise because you all don't know how to hire people who give a damn. Unreal. read more

Service sucked today at the McDonalds in Mauka. The lady who took my order, had to redo something when I got to the first window and asked the manager for an override. After the manager does her thing, the employee tells her "no cheese", in regards to my order. Then, the employee tells her "why did you allow it? Next time she comes back, she's going to say the lady...", all while I'm still there at the window. I get to the next window, and the girl hands me my order...and its not plain, how I requested when I first ordered. I bring it up and the girl had the nerve to say "you didn't tell her in time". I wanted to argue back, but there was no point. Then, she asked me (not that nicely) if I wanted them to make a new one but I dont want them messing with my food so I declined (probably rolled my eyes) and left. I have encountered the first employee many times and her customer service has always sucked. She doesn't greet you, smile or say thank you. She always looks so unhappy. There are other employees there, or were there, that are so much more customer service oriented. They should put those guys at the windows since they have direct contact with the customers. read more

The inside update is nice. The tables are half dirty but the employees are sitting around on break? Table service doesn't work. You put in your table number in the app, then they yell your name and don't bring it to the table. Why put the table number? I could understand if they were crazy busy or something, but this has happened 3 times, every time they are just standing around talking story. read more

The workers were nice but it seemed like they were more worried about the drive thru orders than the customers physically inside the establishment. We ordered a soda, an ice cream cone, and a medium fries but it still took 10 minutes to get the order and then they brought the ice cream out by itself and had to go back for the fries and cup so it had already started melting. Food was fine but they had a lot of people waiting and the men's room floor was incredibly slippery (and it's not because it was just cleaned) read more

McDonald's - the front of the restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Mililani, Hawaii

This is my favorite McDonald's to go to. I have one closer to where I live but I will drive the extra 10 minutes to go to this one for several reasons. 1. The uncle that works the drive through is awesome! They need to give that man a raise! He is always so pleasant and sweet. He even gives me tips on how to save money letting me know if I buy the large fry instead of 2 small ones it's more worth it. He even told me that I could buy plain hamburger patties no salt for my dogs for $0.40 each. 2. If they mess up they will make it up! No McDonald's is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and with how busy these guys are I'm surprised they don't mess up more often when I come through. But when they do they take responsibility and they will usually give you something extra like a coupon for a free item or an extra fry or Burger. It really pays to BE KIND! 3. I've only gone in once or twice and only dined in once. Their drive through is extremely busy compared to the restaurant because there's always seating inside. But the most important thing is it always looks clean. read more

Something is wrong at this location. Extremely long wait times (up to an hour) and lots of mistakes on orders. This location can use some corporate help...some of the staff is friendly at least. Stop here sometimes with my buddies, sometimes it's good but most of the time it doesn't end well. Their kiosk ran out of the receipt paper once so i couldn't get my order, I told the employees about it but they outright ignored me, so I ended up doing another order to the same result and at that point I just left. They also got my order wrong, I ordered a large Caramel Macchiato and they gave me a Small Iced Caramel Macchiato, i told the employees and they said i have to order again which i ended up doing two more times cuz they messed it up again. And finally, came in to get just large coke and it took them 30 minutes! 30 minutes to give me my cup that is literally behind the counter. read more

I see the negative reviews but I don't usually have a problem with my neighborhood McDonald's. Earlier today I did a mobile order with pick up in the designated parking area.. The food is consistent with other McDonalds as well as the ambiance. So why does this place join the list of McDonalds in Hawaii that need to step up their game? The answer is simple...LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! I do want to point out that the guy who took my order and payment in the drive thru tonight did a fantastic job. He is the reason this review is not a one star. The lady who gave me my food came across as angry and annoyed at the customer who just bought food at their establishment. Sure, would you like the cold shoulder with that cheeseburger? How about the silent treatment with those fries? Maybe a coffee while refusing to acknowledge the customer and handing them the order without even facing them to ignore they are there? To the management: this is a problem with your employee but also with your customer service training! A two star review for a service that was barely palatable. read more

Fish Burger WITH BONES!! Be very careful because there were several bones in my fish filet, and I am almost sure that one scraped the side of my throat.
