Decided to stop by after the hype was over but surprisingly enough, the drive through lines were still backed up still so we went with the dine in option. When we entered the restaurant, it wasn't as busy and the line was short and many open tables. We ordered the chicken nuggets, pretzel chicken sandwich and a regular chicken sandwich. What is very enjoyable is their sauce and waffle fries. Something that we always look forward to when we eat at Chik-fil-A. The nuggets are also my favorite because of its uniqueness compared to other fast food chains. Their kids meal is pretty cool and you can either get a choice of a toy/book or a scoop of ice cream which we didn't know at first. Overall, good food if you're on a time chunch. Be aware of manager Laila! Worst customer service I ever received from a manager and she shouldnt be one. Went in to pick up lunch and literally policed the sauces they "FREELY" give out inside the restaurant. I took about 6-7 honey packets because i eat it with my chicken pieces and she had the nerve to point it out how "i had alot of honey packets in my hand." FIRST OF ALL LAILA! If you dont want people freely helping themselves with the sauces (ketchup, honey, mayo etc) then put all that behind the counter! Laila acted like she was paying for the damn honey! Such a rude manager after going in and spending $12 for 5 small chicken bites, large fries and a drink! Also the employee who took my order seemed like he just started working there and he went to ask Laila a question and she responded twice saying "what" really loud! He then responded "oh i can tell your sick of me already." So sad if you teach your manager to not only treat paying customers this way but your own employees! This location can be very busy as it is one of three on the island. There is usually a line in the drive-thru. Some days, the line is longer than others but the moves quickly. When your order is ready, an employee bring it out and you can exit to the right through lane. The employees are always polite and friendly and they work efficiently. I have never been inside the restaurant and only have gone through the drive-thru. On this visit, we ordered 1. Cobb Salad w/Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing (full of flavor and if you like ranch, the avocado lime ranch is a great touch. The lime flavor isn't strong at all and the avocado blends well within.) 2. Four Piece Chicken Tenders & Fries (The chicken tenders are one of our favs. They are moist on the inside and usually have a little crisp on the outside. The waffle fries are also good especially when they are fresh and crispy.) When I opened the bag, it was a bit disappointing that the fries were not filled to the top. I was treated to lunch by my wife's best ffriend Cheryl. I had the Chick and Stripes and a side of Mac and Cheese. The strips had a light coating and was ccrisp. The Mac and Cheese was a winner. Chick Filet Kapolei (across Kamakana Mall) is the worst, shitty service. Long wait in the drive thru line for two melted milk shakes. Customers who ordered more than a drink received their order long before prior orders. The manager over the phone Troy was a lousy as the service we received. Did absolutely nothing to resolve the complaint. A genuine apology would have sufficed except his attitude was as bad as my melted milkshake. Sadly, the manager seemed immuned to complaint's and lacked empathy for the poor service. The service attendent who delivered the drinks was kind but expressed his frustration to work in such a disorganized work environment. The team Lead on shift was his reason for the delay in service. I'll spend my $7 a drink and $18 cold chicken sandwiches elsewhere. This Chick Filet needs to learn from the mainland Chick Filet where service is above standard and food quality is top knotch - Kapolei Chick Filet is a total miss. This is my favorite Chick-fil-A location on island. It's clean, newish, there are plenty of tables and parking, and it's nice and cold inside. Plus, the employees are friendly and attentive. My daughter and I come here once a week for mother-daughter breakfast. We usually get the 10 piece chicken minis. It comes with 10 pieces of chicken nuggets inside a buttery bread that is very addicting. The meal also comes with small hash brown pieces that are fried to perfection. The small pieces allow it to get nice and crispy on the outside while retaining its softness inside. The meal also comes with a drink and we usually get a regular lemonade. Because we are regulars, I got to know the shift supervisor, Sophie. Sophie always has a smile on her face and she's so efficient the way she runs the front and back of the store. The food at Chick-fil-A might be pricey at first glance, but if you use the app, you can accumulate points quickly. The higher your level, the more points you accumulate per dollar spent. Additionally, the store manager usually sends me free food on my app every once in a while. However, the period to redeem the rewards from the manager is usually only one week, whereas I don't think accumulated points expire. Before I forget, you also get random surveys after a store visit that you can complete on the app. Once completed, they'll load a free chicken sandwich on your app. The redemption period for the chicken sandwiches are approx. 2 months. Not a bad deal! Chick-fil-A will sometimes have a family night promo where they provide free ice cream and activity kits for keikis as long as you purchase a combo. I used to attend these events a lot in the mainland when my kids were young. I recommend setting up a dinner playdate during these events so the moms can sit back and chit chat while the kiddos eat together. I had placed a mobile order, but they were too busy talking with each other to notice that I was waiting. The potatoes were mushy. I like crispy potatoes. The chicken nuggets were so tiny. This was my visit about two weeks ago. Tonight, I was craving ice cream. So on my way home from a meeting, Chick-fil-A was closer than the yellow arches. Service was fast and tonight's employees were very professional and pleasant. However, I asked for chocolate sauce and it was such a small amount that I could barely taste it- added more, from my refrigerator when I got home. I recently discovered Chick-fil-A growing up in Hawaii. It was never a big deal when I moved to Vegas and they got a Chick-fil-A there. I had no desire to try it until I did. Oh my! I was in heaven, came home to take care of my dad for a while and was very excited to hear there was a Chick-fil-A. Chik fil A is known for their customer service, this place breaks the mold. That's not a good thing. The people who work here aren't pleasant. They always forget something with my order. Sauce, spoons, straws. This time it's the topping for the kale salad. Come on!! Also, every time I order I have to pull up and wait. I saw them giving people orders cars behind me, like a lot of cars behind. And when they have me pull up they shove the bags at me and I do not have time to realize they forgot anything and even if I do, they're long gone. Even the managers or leads who are outside helping out have a bad attitude. It is just really off putting. The McDonald's down the street has better customer service, that's saying a lot. Did mobile thru order- (basically use the Chick-fil-a app to place an order) and they have a separate line for those orders, as the regular drive thru line has employees coming to you, to take your order. Why does everyone smile here? I have been stuck at 799 reviews for a few months. I wanted my 800th review be a positive experience. And boy did I find the right place to praise about. I've only used the drive-thru at this location and even in the caravan, everyone smiles and it isn't just the customers. I wanted to dine-in and was still surprised with the smiling faces. It was pleasant compared to other fast food places that just want your order and your money. Even with one cashier, ordering was quick and easy. The dine-in area is immaculate. It looked like not only did the employees want to keep the place clean so did the customers. I think it's because they wanted to use the trash compactor. That thing is a trip. The food was the usual "it's really good for a fried chicken sandwich" and I like the Mac and cheese. The fact there is a large variety of sauces to choose from is a "10" in my book. Plus I don't think there's a limit to how many sauce packs you can have. FYI, I don't have a favorite sauce so I let my cashier choose. And she chose to give me one of each flavor. What a fantastic answer. Overall five stars down the line. I mean nothing is perfect, you always have to find flaws so you can make improvement. I come here about once a week with my kids! Most of the time we sit inside to eat and we love when one of the employees walk around asking if anyone needs a refill on drinks or more sauces! I've only done the drive thru a few times and every time I've regretted it. It takes 20+ minutes, which is insane when you consider that the drive thru should be the faster option. There's always a family a couple cars ahead of me will have a huge order so they'll be sitting at the front of the line waiting for their food, and meanwhile like 5 other cars will get our food behind them but are trapped waiting behind the car in front that doesn't have their food yet, and our food is just sitting there getting cold next to us. This last time I waited 5 minutes after I received my food before I was finally able to drive out of the drive thru. They need to either figure out a better set up or tell cars with large orders to pull in a parking space. Chick fil A in the mainland is known for having fast and efficient drive thrus. Not this location. Only other complaint is if I am ordering a large fry, pleeeeease just fill up the container to the top. It's annoying how often our fries are not filled up all the way and I might as well have ordered a smaller size fry. read more

Located in Kapolei across the street from Kamakana Alii mall. Yes the line is pretty crazy, BUT it goes super fast. The service is amazing. I noticed that a lot of workers had blue shirts on so i asked a worker what was the difference in their uniforms. She said the blue shirt workers are from the mainland and the red shirt workers are from here. I loved the fact that they had mainland workers come down here to help open this location. If you get the chance to visit this location, don't be afraid of the line i promise it goes quick. The food came out quickly and tasted amazing! Chick-fil-A has been a fam fave on vacations. It's just quick and tasted great! Our family has been counting down the days when it would be open. We decided to try in grand opening night. We expected the crazy lines. BUT what I really wanted to know was, will it taste the same? We braved the drive thru line, and we're pretty impressed how much they planned it out. The line was RIDICULOUS and wrapped around the new Longs Drugs building. We took bets that it would take an hour to 2 hours. We were wrong. The staff were amazing. They first had a staff member give us a menu to view while we waited. Then, down the line more, more staff took our orders outside, in the line. After that, we reached the end of the drive thru, and we got our food. We came at peak time on a Friday night. Even so, we were home on 45 min!! Like what!!?!? That's crazy good planning! Best chick fil a on the island. They have their own parking lot. The lane system has someone directing the traffic for the lanes. The line was long but I still left sooner than I expected. The food was fresh, hot and service impeccable. I went inside first and the lines were longer than the drive thru. Inside was clean and had plenty of seating. Decided to take my chances in the drive thru. I was disappointed they didn't have the southwest salad so I got the cob salad. To my surprise the salads come in a box. Visited the new Kapolei location during Opening Weekend so naturally it was busy but the lines, both drive-thru and in-store, seemed organized. We decided to park and walk in thinking it would be faster and it took us about 20 minutes in total. The space is bright and nice with lots of parking in that new area. Listen, I love Chick-fil-A, and I'm a very patient person, but they messed up not one but two things in our order. When our order was ready, they didn't include one of our two drinks so we spent a few minutes trying to flag down an employee to help us. One of them was apologetic and ran to get it for us but came back with the wrong thing. Forgivable mistake, it happens. We took our takeout order home to eat away from the crowds and noticed our grilled chicken sandwich was unusually light... it had NO chicken! Just bread and veggies. Super disappointing. Had to drive around Longs Drugs to get to the back of the line. Took about 20 mins in line. Ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich meal and spicy chicken sandwich meal. Chicken doesn't come with sauce on it but I think the purpose of their packet sauces is so you can choose however you want to season it. I put their signature Chick-fil-A sauce and it was tasty. The fries on the other hand were soggy and not fresh. When I arrived home, I put the fries in the air fryer. Also chicken portion is pretty small. Employees are nice. First standalone sit-down Chick-Fil-A on Oahu! The Ala Moana and Beretania locations are not. Hubby and I dined inside as the drive thru line seemed long. We only waited 15 minutes in line! Looking outside, the drive thru line flowed efficiently. Service was warm and friendly, like you'd expect at any CFA, but I thought the food was fresher and tastier than Ala Moana! I had to have my usual order--a regular chicken sandwich with crispy waffle fries and honey mustard BBQ sauce. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich with CFA sauce and the kale crunch side which is a nice alternative side to the waffle fries. We also ordered a frosted lemonade, which was lemonade topped with some vanilla milkshake. I love that the restaurant had a local touch to it with local flowers as centerpieces. I'm so happy that I don't have to drive to town for chick-fil-a! I don't eat chicken sandwiches, but when I do, it's chick-fil-a. Their chick-fil-a sauce is unmatched. This place is newly opened, and I think they're doing a great job being efficient. Usually when places open, it can be pretty disastrous but it seemed like they had a lot of training before they opened. The workers all gave good customer service and I applaud them for standing in the wind and rain taking orders. I don't know if they still have them, but HPD directs traffic so people can't cut and what not- but I found that super useful. From the start of the line (which was pretty long) to the end (getting my food) it took less than 20 minutes. I also like that they use chick-fil-a's infamous line "my pleasure"!
