I normally hate writing bad reviews, tonight it happened around9:30pm when we got their. We went in put our order in on the computer board in there. And wasn't cooperating with us. Sometimes it wouldn't register in the system n end with double our order. We told the cashier n she was in a good mood. We told her to cancle 1 n she said we order twice. We reminded her again something was was wrong with the order board. Still she never apologized for what happened n looked grumpy. Our food , burgers was kind of cold n missed order our fries. Now before us was a young couple who had the same problem with their order, wasn't registering in the computer system. They were before us. So when the young girl asked the cashier what was going on, the case said bluntly to try again. Again wasn't going. The young girl question the cashier again ,the cashier was getting upset and raised her voice in a rude way. They young couple felt uncomfortable, you can tell by their expressions n looks. The manager wasn't nice either to help. The cashier was very rude to them n the young couple walked out with no order. We order after them but the cashier never raised her voice at us when we question her about our order. The cashier was wrong how she handle this. She could have worked with them n be way being more nice. She needs to learn customer service n have a better attitude. Grumpy service doesn't work at all no matter where you work. A customer is never wrong even if they are, you learn to work with them and correct the problems or issues in a good way so they come back again. Think about it, thats customer service. read more

It's hard going through a drive thru and you see the line is so long. Being in that line, I figured id look at the menu from my phone and be ready with my order. Chili bake potato, biggie bag with spicy nuggets, jr. bacon cheese burger with a diet. Vanilla cold brew. Well got to the window. Place my first item, response was rushed and rude l. We don't have potatos. Okay but you have fries with chili? YUP. Fine I'll get that. Ordered everything else. Then it came to my cold brew. We don't have that! Still terrible. Savannnah can't handle working the register. I walk in to no line. Tells me she'll be right with me bc she's working on a door dash orders. Takes her sweet time prepping one, 2 more door dashers come in and she serves them first before me... I'm still waiting to order. Finally I order and she starts working on more door dash orders - not getting my order together that's already ready behind her. A 3rd door dasher walks in as she's finally getting my order to hand me then drops everything and helps the 3rd door dasher changing her sauces etc. meanwhile she gave me the wrong sauce and no drink cups. A true mess. Don't have any expectations walking into this mess especially if she's working the register. So frustrated! Went through the drive-through and ordered two small chilies with cheese and chopped onions. Multiple times I've been to this one and they put full ring sliced onions, which isn't easy to eat with a small plastic spoon in chili. So we asked for chopped onions and then specified diced. We also ordered jr bacon cheese burger. When we received our food we found the patty was cold the cheese cold. Only the hun was warm. With both chilis the onions were the large sliced onions and to make it worse, the chili was COLD. Like it was just taken out of the plastic bag and dumped in the warmer. Had to go back in and the manager didn't even know how to rectify the situation. He asked if I wanted him to microwave it, and then asked multiple times how long I wanted it microwaved for. I went with my mother in law to this location to have lunch. She met her friends which was nice. I was so hungry and thirsty. I got the single burger combo with baconator fries. I drank a sugar free fruit punch. I literally had like 3 refills. Food was descent. Everything came out quickly. I definitely liked that. Workers took awhile to get to the front. My mother in law said the girl was kinda rude which I didn't notice. She seemed fine. Inside had tables and booths to eat your food. It was nice a d clean. I stopped by Wendy's and asked at the window if I could get my burger lettuce wrapped instead of a bun. The employee said "sure," but instead of making it as a lettuce wrap, they just put shredded lettuce on top of the burger. If lettuce wraps aren't an option anymore, I wish they would have simply told me that rather than pretending they could do it. It was disappointing and left me with a meal I didn't order. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered two baconator breakfast sandwich meals and the sausage biscuit and egg sandwich meal. We were not too impressed with any of the meals. The baconator breakfast sandwich was very salty and the sausage biscuit and egg sandwich was okay. The biscuit was not as buttery and flaky as others I've had. We did like the breakfast fries as they were like potato wedges but they too were a bit salty. We have been on short rations because our refrigerator died and I haven't been able to afford much. SO I dropped my husband off at dialysis and decided to splurge on Wendy's on my way home. Im so angry that I wasted13.00 on a disgusting cold burger that was probably cooked this morning and a frosty that had been sitting pre-made in a freezer. There was an ice crust on the top of it, and it was oddly sugared like syrup that was over cooked. I ate the burger, cause I was ravenous, dumped the nasty sludge of a frosty and am leaving this one star review, because it won't let me leave ZERO stars. Don't go to the Wendy's at Kamakana Alii. Haven't had Wendy's in a hot minute. Was craving it so I went to get a baconator combo with 10 piece spicy nuggets, two daves singles. They forgot my nuggets and I didn't notice until I was almost home so I called them and told them they forgot. And asked if I could come back so I did and went through the drive thru and told them I had called earlier about my missing nuggets and I could hear thru the speaker the girl laughing and told me to pull forward. So today July 10 around 11 I ordered online and went to go pick it up. As soon as I got to the drive thru the lady who talked was very rude and said "We aren't taking and orders" with an attitude. I then told her I have a moblie order and before i could finish she just kept cutting me off. She was telling me to just cancel it and that they cant do anything about it but if you heard the way she said it you would be mad too. She was very rude and I get it because its late but wendys closes at 2 so I don't get the problem. I'd understand if she said sorry and that they were doing something and company wasn't allowing anymore orders but no she was very rude for no reason. This Wendy's location is my favorite. Of all the locations I've been to on Oahu this location has been consistent in cleanliness and service. Because of covid they added a new way to get your drink from the self serve drink machines. Almost touchless, you have to scan the provided bar code on the machine and make your selection. You still have to press the dispense button. That's ok, my favorites includes the chili and the apple pecan salad. Stay safe and wear your mask. read more

I just completed the Wendy's survey and feel it is my duty to post a review here, too. Especially as I see the plethora of low star ratings. I love Wendy's and have grown up as as a patron. I loved that they built an establishment so hear to my home and have made several visits. Though, the quality of customer service has started to decline. I appreciate the deals on the app, however, I'm not sure that makes up for poor customer service. If the store runs out of product or suffers mechanical issues, it is not the customer's fault. Recently, I encountered a problem with my visit. I was told the Frosty machine broke midway through filling the order. I had filled a mobile order, so they couldn't remove the item; but did offer a refund, with the facial expression that stated I was being an inconvenience. I did not receive any apology for my inconvenience. Also, when did " hi" or "thank you" disappear from customer service? I filled out their store survey and received a call from the manager; who offered me a complimentary Frosty. Though I really don't feel like patronizing this stir for awhile, let alone for one free Frosty. read more

Every single time I come to this location my order is always wrong. When you reach the pick up window the employees are not friendly. They stare at you like what are you doing here? And when they handle your bags they don't even say thank you or acknowledge that you have your order. I guess if they did that then my order would never be wrong right? Just drove through the order area and no one spoke at the box for kind of a while so I assumed they were closed and started driving away. As I start driving, I see this girl with a headset out back running to come back inside but I was just miffed and kept driving off.
