Let give it another shot. I haven't always gotten the best experience here but this visit was a big improvement. The staff was on the ball when I did a mobile order. I walked in and they were preparing my food I saw the advertisement for fried pickles. Let's say I got it really quick. The chicken was hot and really good. And the pickles were just like anywhere else. The standout was the jalapeño ranch dip. I wish I got more of that to dip into my chicken. This visit was an improvement over the last couple. Overall four stars. Quick service and great dipping sauce. :p M read more

When did chicken get so expensive? No wonder this location was empty. Go on TU to get 'specials' or get a bank loan to feed your family, especially if you need sides. Can't blame the counter folks, they're just doing their job. read more

Never thought I'd write a review for KFC but I had to try their chicken pot pie. I would say that I'm an expert level chicken pot pie eater. Every where I go that has chicken pot pie on the menu, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be ordering it. And this one gets high marks for it's super flaky crust, creamy sauce, loads of peas, carrots and potatoes , good portion size, and come on, for drive thru and $7 KFCs version cannot beat. This pie is inflation friendly! The meal is $10.99 and includes small mash potatoes and a medium drink. read more

The Hot and spicy wings were not hot and either a day old or overcooked. The secret fries were undercooked. The Ewa Beach, Hawaii KFC needs better management oversight or needs to sell its business. Very poor food service. read more

Always great service and ambiance, and usually great food... BUT this time found a few bones in my chicken pot pie. See picture. I don't think it's this KFC's fault because the pot pies are probably pre-made... but as someone who is super ill and wanted comfort food, this was terrible. read more

Stopped in for something to eat. I decided to go through the drive-thru since there was only one other vehicle in line. I heard that they had mac and cheese and wanted to see what the hype was about. When I got to the speaker, there was a notice stating that several of their drinks were out of order. It happens, but what a bummer. I ordered the the crispy breast and wing combo. What a disaster! The chicken was so hard and so dry, I could barely finish it and there was not much chicken meat. I do not remember it being that way when ordering the crispy chicken. I was so disapponted. The mash and gravy was still good but the chicken was not good at all. The biscuit was also very hard as if it was in the oven for a long time. The inside was slightly soft but the outside was very hard. The mac and cheese was nothing great. Just a simple mac and cheese. I also had asked for a complimentary extra cup of ice as the ice in my unsweetened ice tea was all melted and the cashier said it was $0.25 so I opted out of it. The cashier who helped me was nice though but the quality of food was very disappointing. Sad to say, but I don't think I will ever come back to this location again or to KFC again. I'm sad about the quality of their food and afraid to even try a differnt location. read more

The extra crispy fried chicken doesn't have any taste, kinda bland.. it's always like that to me, at KFC in Ewa beach...

Dropped into this KFC in Ewa Beach. Located in a new area right along Fort Weaver Road. Very easy to spot. The restaurant looks new and is very spacious. Order was taken by two young cheerful cashiers. While there about 12:00 noon on a Saturday we had the pick of seating because no one was in there. Ordered a chicken sandwich combo and a famous bowl. The chicken sandwich was classic. Savory and hearty. The bowl consisted of 4 chicken nuggets, corn, mashed potato and brown gravy. Tasty, but a few more pieces of chicken would have made it more famous. Hint: Dining in allowed me to get a refill on my drink. Restroom is locked so if you need to use their facilities while dining in the cashier will need to open it for you. Fair is fair come and give this place a try. Atmosphere is new and fresh so wonder why not many customers? Couldn't tell maybe they were all ordering drive through. read more

Love the food but the number of employees appears to be unfortunately low. No infant or toddler high chairs or boosters at this location - so have to hold your kids on laps to eat if not big enough to sit at the chair or booth seat. Bathrooms can only be used if you purchase something. No refills on drinks. But the restaurant is clean and has plenty of space for large parties. Parking can be problematic during peak hours due to some of the neighboring businesses that also utilize the same parking area. read more

KFC has gotten really expensive in Hawai'i. Yet when I came last week tuesday, the drive thru and dining room was full to the brim. Despite their extreme short staffing and VERY hot temperatures in that restaurant the boy at the counter was super kind and was very welcoming and friendly. He advised me it would have to be a wait for the next chicken, i had no issue and i was glad he atleast told me before i placed my order. He was the only one in the counter and was still taking orders and packing orders and running around to prepare them. My food was fresh, since i assume it was very busy, and i loved the service i received. although the food has gone up, i'm glad to see that atleast the quality isn't that bad, and the service is great. KFC ewa is the only KFC i'll go to now. read more

Unfortunately I think the KFC brand has taken a hit over the last few years. While the food is generally ok and my order is mostly correct, it is not close to 100% which should be the goal. Worst KFC on the island. Each time I go, I remember why I haven't been back in a while. The customer service is BAD! Sassy and rude... expecting you to change your mind on an item if they tell you there will be a wait. Most times im ordering for others too, so I wait... and each time they ASSUME I'll order something else, and when i say I'll wait, they sound annoyed and pissed! AND 4 out of 5 times there's a wait! If it's on your menu, why won't you have it ready and available?!?! Horrible tasting chicken. Do not go here! The original recipe chicken was way beyond salty. I was also very disappointed with the cole slaw, which was made with too much dressing causing it to be soupy. While everyone is heading to Popeyes (yes, I said it) and the lines at every drive thru are long and the wait at the take out orders are even longer. Maybe The Colonel should take some notes? I, myself wanted Popeyes Chicken because of the Price for one and deals they offer. Given the time of day and I was surprised folks were still lining up at 1:30 pm- way past lunchtime. I drove to KFC in Ewa Beach. There was no line. Menu was hard to read with so many different options and prices were so high. I was looking for a Kids Meal something small and not so pricey with a drink. I ended up getting a Chicken Pot Pie. It was priced at $9 and it came with a cookie and a drink. I was quite happy when the cashier asked if I wanted the Meal or just the Pot Pie for $6. I left happy and ended with a very large and crisp and delicious pie filled with mostly shredded white chicken and moist potatos and several peas and carrots. It made for a filling dinner and actually had some left over for breakfast. read more

This restaurant food is Nasty, Chicken is small and DRY, First and last time there. My Recommendation choose somewhere else.

Very reputable, national brand but quality can vary based on location. My experience at this location was very good. PROs: we had an eight piece family bucket. The chicken was extremely fresh and very crispy. We had the original style. As a side we had biscuits which were also very fresh, soft, and warm. We also had potato wedges which were very fresh and hot. The meal was delicious. Just the corn seemed a little old. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. Even though there was a short wait, the line went quick and we didn't really have to wait that long at all. I don't mind waiting if the food is going to be very hot and fresh. CONs: parking lot is very small and crowded. Our corn was a little cold. Probably just above room temperature. All in all, I highly recommend you stop by this place if you're in Ewa Beach and need some good hot fresh fried chicken. read more

Our family frequents this restaurant at least two to three times a month, and this evening I was thoroughly disappointed with the manager on duty; RE: how she handled this situation. Today, we went elsewhere for dinner. Probably will not go back to that store again. I walked into the restaurant to order take out. Ordered the $28 8pc fill up. Asked to substitute the Cole slaw for corn. Was told by the manager, (and I quote), "You cannot make substitutions on the fill ups". No, "I'm sorry, you cannot make..." or any sort of apology with that statement. However, she did suggest that if we wanted the 3rd large side, I had to purchase the 12pc meal which was $6 more. Like I mentioned previously, we visit at least 2-3 times a month, order the SAME MEAL and substitutions were never a problem. In fact, I have receipts to prove it. Signage in the store does not indicate "no substitutions", or at least there were none that I could see. My point? The manager on duty could have handled it a little better, and set an example for her young crew she was in charge of. I've been in customer service for over 30+ years, and that was terrible customer service. read more

One star is a huge complimentary for this location. They messed up my order and I had to go back to reorder. I ordered 2 menus but I only got 1. (They weren't even busy lol) Anyways I could understand that and I wasn't upset or anything. People make mistake and it's totally normal but how he handled the situation was the worst. He even remembered I order 2 menus and told me that he got 2 orders and he checked the system himself and found out he didn't input 2 orders. From that point, he didn't respond to me. ///Interesting Fact: I didn't went back to have an argument but he made the whole drama himself./// If you made a mistake or found that it was your mistake just admit it and say sorry. It's fine. How simple is that?! Please try NOT to pick a fight with customers over your mistake. Conclusion; Terrible and unprofessional customer service. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

This is by far a place that has no business being open. I ordered a combo of 1 chicken breast with a wing. My God, what a yoke. The piece that was to be a breast had two bites of white meat to it. I had to wait in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes. They ran out of potato wedges. When the person handed me my drink, it spilled all over my hand as I grabbed it. I ordered the Nashville hot wings, which I've had for years (all over the country). This location just drizzles over the Nashville sauce instead of tossing them in it. Also, for some reason, everything on the menu is $3-5 more than the national prices. I know it's Hawaii, but it seems over kill. Now, we have been to this location many times because the traffic usually isn't that bad. But after yesterday we won't be going back. The order was correct but the drive thru cashier had the worse possible attitude! On 12/14 I came through the drive-through at around 3:40pm. I ordered the eight piece family meal. Double mash and gravy. With a side of corn and mac & cheese. When My family and I decided to eat dinner around 5 we immediately noticed a different kind of smell coming from the bucket of chicken. Upon biting into the meal the chicken was raw. I'm not talking about pink pieces I'm talking about the entire chicken breasts was under cooked. It was slimy. Chicken unfortunately is one food category that you cannot get away with. It Hass to be prepared and cooked well. By the time I noticed the chicken was raw my family had already finished their dinner. As a result to eating the raw chicken we all have diarrhea today. A bacterial infection from the chicken. Everything about last nights meal was wrong. I don't know if The chicken was left out too long? Possibly gaining E. coli. Or maybe someone's dirty hands?
