Steve at first watch was very accommodating. We had a party of 14 that quickly turned into 17 and he didn't give us a hard time about adjusting the headcount. He also allowed us to move tables and rearrange due to the e party size increasing. There needs to be more service people like Steve that actually enjoy their jobs and are accommodating to patrons. The food is really good. I love their protein bowls, the pesto and chicken and lemon go really well together. However, our iced coffee was super milky and sweet and had a strange milk after taste. But our waiter was super kind and offered another one and even a cup of plain black coffee to mix it up a little bit. The staff are super nice and take good care of you. Good spot!

Came by this First Watch location with my husband and some friends for Sunday brunch and had some pretty solid food! I ordered the BLT eggs benedict with potatoes, and my husband got the lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of cheesy grits. Others in our party picked the farmhouse hash and the coconut chia seed pudding, and most of us got juices. The large freshly-squeezed orange juice comes with a generous pour even if you ask for no ice, and the BLT eggs benedict had some very solid flavors. Bacon was super crispy, and the dressed arugula was nice and peppery but not too tart. My one quibble with the dish was that the poached eggs had pretty hard yolks and were lukewarm in the center - I wonder if it was just a batch that happened to be overcooked? I would've liked the potatoes crispier too, but that's probably something I can ask the kitchen to do next time. The lemon ricotta pancakes were quite excellent; the pancakes themselves were super light and fluffy, and the lemon curd had a great tang. The portion was also huge. Grits were very nice and super cheesy. Servers were attentive and helpful throughout. One friend is celiac and our server was very helpful in making sure that their gluten free bread was toasted in a dedicated pan separate from anything with gluten. All in all a decent brunch spot!

We called in to get on the wait list around 11:45 on a Saturday. Said 20-30 min wait. I showed up at around 12pm. Checked in. Went to the bathroom where I found it completely messy and unsanitary. It was disgusting. I attached a pic. That had probably been there awhile. While I was washing my hands I made eye contact w an employee that just walked out the door after being in a stall. Was looking around and hoping she wasn't a server but didn't think a job w unwashed hands in the kitchen would be much better. Never saw her again. We were seated about an hour after I checked in. There were plenty of tables open. I think they were just short staffed and every interaction whether it be w the greeter for seating or our server was rushed. They are way understaffed. The coffee cups were dirty at our table, w either paper or something inside them. took probably 5-10 min to get greeted at the table and we waited a longer time than usual for our food. Once received, my friend asked for salsa for which she was told they only have pico. She decided she'd go w the avocado mash instead but it wasn't brought back til she was over halfway thru her meal. the servers were so busy and frantic we couldn't flag anyone down for about 10-15 min. Once we got our servers attention she did bring it back quickly. We used to come here a lot but the service, sanitation and evidently being short staffed will make this the last time. The food even felt rushed this time. Not as good as usual. Sad, looks like quantity over quality now. Used to be good.

I love First Watch! It's one of my favorite, most reliable brunch spots in the DFW area where I know I'm assured a great meal each time! My go-to order is their BLT Benedict, which includes bacon, avocado, egg, and arugula on toasted ciabatta bread! Other standouts on the menu include the Belgian waffle, the Traditional Breakfast, and the Chickichanga. Despite being a busy brunch spot, I'm always treated kindly by the service staff, and my food is served promptly. There's rarely a wait, but if there is, the staff keeps the line moving quickly. Luckily the Richardson location also has an ample amount of seating, including an outdoor patio which is wonderful on breezy days. First Watch is a great, cozy brunch spot in Dallas with an excellent menu, and I recommend it to anybody searching for a delicious meal in the area!

Brought my granddaughter in for the 1st day of Springbreak breakfast. She order chocolate chip pancakes & a mango, passion palmer..she said it tasted like "vacation"! She LOVED it!! She said the ham was delicious too. I ordered a blueberry pancake, bacon & orange juice. The pancakes are huge. They were pretty good. I did NOT care for the orange juice, it had a chalky aftertaste that made me gag. We had a great waiter, Nathan. Knowledgeable, funny, attentive. I will come back to try the shrimp & grits when the menu changes hrs next week. I don't know if I'd come back here if I wasn't already near here but it was good for a drive by.

Donna and I love coming to Brunch here at First Watch Campbell. Ivana was our Wonderful and Gracious Server. She is so efficient and her big Smile just makes you feel welcome. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with friends and enjoyed a great lunch. They sat us on the inside/outside patio and opened the door and it felt nice. It was a bit loud in there, partly because of us, but no real complaints. Food was good and everyone enjoyed what they ate. Service was a bit slow, but to be expected on a Sunday afternoon.

Large restaurant, really big and nice! Have gone a couple times the last couple of weeks and the food is really good. Unfortunately service is extremely slow, I think they are understaffed. Got an omelette (2nd pic with bread) and asked for cheese, mushroom, and spinach only and there were whole mushrooms and spinach, nothing was chopped up. Overall really good food, as long as they're staffed correctly!

Love the Tri-fecta breakfast with scrambled eggs, regular bacon, and Belgium waffle. I ordered an extra carrot cake pancake and today I tried the pumpkin spiced donuts, cuz you know it is September 1st, so pumpkin season is upon us! Everything was delicious (as usual) and oh my goodness- those pumpkin spiced donut holes were amazing! I'm so glad I tried them and I'm sure I'll be ordering them again while they are still available.

During COVID its been great that you can put your name on the list in advance. When we got there we were up and only waited 5 minutes for us to get sat at the table. Thank you for that First Watch! Had our niece and nephew so there was 5 of us. Kids had the typical breakfast but they loved it. Wife enjoyed the avocado eggs Benedict which have always been a favorite of hers. Love that you can order a loaf of their bread as well. Kids enjoyed the various juices with the purple haze being the favored one for this trip.

Update: the management contacted me via phone call and email very quickly. They spoke to me and asked questions and apologized. Also, they sent a hand written apology asking if we'd give them a second chance and sent some gift certificates. I must say for as upset as I was, I didn't think that anything to this magnitude of them hoping to rectify things would've happened. We will be giving them a second chance. Very refreshing to receive this sort of customer service. read more

I love First Watch! I have been to 4 locations and this location was very spacious and trendy. Parking can be tricky because it is so busy during the weekends when they are opened. My cousin ordered one of the breakfast skillet and I got a power breakfast bowl with quinoa and it was amazing! Everytime I eat food here I always feel amazing because thr breakfast options are so healthy. Service was great, coffee was unlimited and hot. You won't be disappointed of you come here! read more

Came back to visit this location again due to a preference of a family member. The service at this location is terrible, especially the girl working at the reception. She skipped the line and completely ignored me. Kept telling me to wait while she could serve the people came after me. Then the waitress served us the wrong food (we kept the food anyway and didn't ask for a swap) and charged us the wrong price. Ridiculous read more

My husband went to this place in North Carolina and was really blown away with the food so we tried it here and sadly weren't. We tried the skillet hash, farmhouse and Italian which are served with toast, preserves and fruit. We also tried their famous peppered bacon which was not my favorite. You can definitely go visit it and make a decision for yourself but not sure if we will be returning here again. read more

I went in as a party of one. The front said we have open seating at the bar. Cool. I looked and understanding its busy.. there was no availability at the bar. I went back to the front and let them know..I just stood there no one offered to put me on a list ( i didn't mind waiting) I just stood there ... completely ignored. We've been First Watch fans for years, but we had some issues with the east Campbell location (see my review on that page). The new location on west Campbell is brighter and cleaner with a more open, inviting floor plan. The service can still be inconsistent and on the slower side but is much more friendly overall. MJ is truly fantastic. She was our server this morning for breakfast and our experience was awesome--which was a relief because we brought a friend from out of town and he absolutely loved it. MJ is the best server we've ever had in our years of being First Watch customers. Also, the food was consistent as always. All things considered, west Campbell has won us over! So long, east Campbell! read more

This place has been in my top 3 favorites since I use to live in Arlington about 5 years ago. I always eat the trifecta and switch it from time to time to egg Benedict. First Watch is awesome. I really like it as a brunch type place. I really like their breakfast and I really like their lunches, so if I am in between or with a group that is a little in between, then it is great and a total crowd pleaser. Really everything I have had their is really good. It is somehow both hardier and healthier than other places. Lots of various dishes with vegetables, kale, quinoa, avocado, coconut milk, spinach etc. but all tasting good. Not a greasy spoon type breakfast place although you can still get the classics there (eggs, bacon, waffles, etc) Overall, worth a try if you have never been to First Watch. it is a good place. read more

First off the waitress had an odor about her. Not too pleasing, but this is more about the food. Ordered the brisket quesadilla with eggs benedict. The amount of salsa to quesadilla was horribly off. In fact I didn't even think I had a quesadilla. The black beans were super bland. The winner was the seasoned potatoes. Interesting fact: the potatoes cost less than my iced tea. Overall not a bad place to eat, but be cautious as to what you eat. And hopefully your server won't stink. read more

Amazing location! I have been to first watch several times to the other location in Campbell road, but this one is closer to my house which I totally love. Been to this new location twice and let me tell you that the customer service is amazing! They greeted me as soon I walk in, and ask me for my order quickly. I usually go for Bacado omelet but this time I choose the Floridian Frech toast they were so delicious. Definitely coming back again, and this time with my famlily:) read more

Placed an order online for an order of breakfast tacos and a Cobb salad. Tacos were fine, a little on the small size, but came with no kind of salsa or any condiment at all. Pretty dry and dull. The cobb salad would have been good if I had more than half an ounce of dressing. Received one side of dressing that was maybe 1/4 of the way filled. Pretty disappointing. read more

5/14/22: Service and food quality have gone downhill. No obvious staffing issues, as it appeared that there were almost just as many staff as customers around 2pm. I observed several staff milling around, not even looking busy. We were seated (party of two) and over ten minutes passed without anyone acknowledging us. I asked the young lady who seated us who had our section, and the reply I received was that four tables arrived at the same time. After waiting some more, she noticed that we had not been taken care of and took our order. Our food arrived, and it was just ok. We had the chickfchanga, shrimp and grits and a side of sausage. The shrimp had a heavy smell of seafood, not sure if it was cooked properly. The grits were so so, and the chicken lacked seasoning. The coffee was good. When we started to eat, Nathan came to our table and asked if everything was ok. I asked who he was, and he said that he was our server, and that he had gotten busy. Very disappointed with this visit, and if this had been our first visit, we wouldn't have returned. read more

We go to First Watch for breakfast with friends most Saturdays. The food is dependably good and the service is also. Love the superfoods bowl and the guys love the oatmeal. Lemon ricotta pancakes and blueberry muffin top pancakes are great. The bacado omelet is a fav. Good coffee and good drinks. Go there. You'll like it too I hope. read more

This place is a disaster. The service is always sooo slow and never very nice. Every time food takes FOREVER and they always say the kitchen is behind. Well then figure out new processes. And the food that you do get is often wrong. We have tried it several times now, different days, and always the same. Today was the last time for us. read more

Coincidentally, the first time I was here was a year ago, and today is the second time but at a different location. The interior was nice and the service was good as well! I ordered the power wrap and it was delicious, but I wish I got more pico de gallo and the fruit was okay. Besides that, it was the perfect portion for my morning and it's a great place to have brunch and they have a lot of variety to choose from! read more

It's a little on the pricey side, but I would stop by again and would recommend giving it a try!

The waitstaff seemed to neglect checking in on us; our coffee carafe was empty for quite some time, as were our water glasses. To make matters worse, our plates were not cleared after we finished eating, which only added to the feeling of being forgotten. I ordered the Trifecta with a carrot cake pancake, expecting something special, but it turned out to be just a basic pancake with carrots, raisins, and nuts added. It lacked the unique flavors and creativity I had hoped for, making it not worth the trip or the money. To top it off, the table across from us sent back an order. As one partner finished eating, the other's new dish arrived. This just added to the sense of disorganization in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning to this First Watch location anytime soon. There are plenty of other brunch spots that offer better service and more memorable meals.

Really enjoyed our breakfast however when boxing up my boyfriends hash scramble, we found several pieces of bacon after we had specifically requested NO PORK (we are Muslim) on each of our orders. Needless to say he was pretty upset as he ate almost the whole meal. We let the cashier know and the guy stated "that occasionally happens" and didn't really offer any type of solution. We will not be returning here as it is not friendly or sensitive to Muslim people. read more
