Fast forward to today, I live here now and have had time to try out most Viet restaurants known for their Pho (because when it comes to Viet food, every restaurant has a different dish(es) that they excel at). I can confidently say this is the best, if not, top 3 in DFW. You come here for a hearty, very filling, and affordable bowl of Pho. The service is quick and attentive. You'll place your order and get your giant bowl within minutes. They offer a regular and large and trust, the regular is plenty. Take out is ine size only and that's their large. I did have a negative experience related to two other customers I was with. One person was very rude and even tried to skip ahead of a couple who had arrived before us. First time there and went with a friend of many years, he had been there before so we went. Being used to Asian cuisine I felt comfortable with navigating through the menu and selected a nice BIG bowl of beef pho, with unsweetened ice tea the journey began to flavor land. We ordered a Bun Bo Hue and a Kobe Beef Pho. We were given a choice of fresh or steamed beaned sprouts - we chose fresh but I'm curious what steamed tastes like. Both broths were absolutely delicious! The noodles and meat portions were well balanced. The negative was that the Bun Bo Hue didn't have pork blood for some reason.
