Tried Saigon Block and the food was solid overall! I ordered the Bún Thịt Nướng and Phở Đặc Biệt, and both dishes came out fresh, flavorful, and generous in portion. The grilled pork on the bún was nicely seasoned with a good char, and the pho broth had a rich, comforting flavor with plenty of meat. The drinks were just okay, the cà phê sữa đá was decent but not as strong or bold as I expected, and the Thai tea was pretty mid. Not bad, just not memorable. Service was quick, the restaurant was clean, and the food definitely hit the spot. I'd come back for the dishes, especially the bun and pho!

I've been coming here for a while for family celebrations but first time writing a review. We had a reservation and came a little late. We got a little bit of a scolding which was very vietnamese but also not very professional in my opinion. Like one time mentioning the policy is fine but I think it was brought up 2-3 times after we waited for a table. We ordered ca nương like usual and it's always good. They do skimp out on the veggies, noodles, banh trang, and sauce. The fish sauce is very good, kind of addicting but also may be too strong for people who don't like fish sauce. We also ordered the fried quail, butter fried chicken and some other meat dish. These were just okay. I really did not like the butter fried chicken here, it was too salty and greasy. The fried quail was solid but VERY expensive.

Ok ok i apologize in advanced for the pic but we demolished the fish before we realised about checking in yelp. It's GOOD!!!! Haven't been here in ages and I forgot how good the catfish is. So get the catfish, get the bo la lot (grape leaves with beef) and get the nem nuong. I promise you it's a lot of food but very good. Service is meh but food is good. I'd come early!

09-21-2025 We drove 45 min to dine here. Our friends and relatives shared that baked catfish is something worth to write home about. Ordered: -Ca Nuong (medium) $68- crunchy delicious! -Saigon 3 Vi $34- the variety of meat were all yummy. We enjoyed our wraps. -Pho Ga $14.25- my sister loved her soup! Good service. They gave us plenty of vermicelli and extra veggies with no additional charge. If I were to be in Dallas again, I will definitely be back here for more of their delicious food!

I'm not in Dallas too often but when I am, I do think of this place often! I love their baked catfish and bo lot lat. It's quite a fun dining experience to make your own spring rolls but I can understand if some folks aren't into that. The fish is super crispy and you get sauces to dip in. The bo lot lat is thick so I prefer to cut it in half to enjoy! Service is quick but we typically order ahead. The establishment seems to always be busy and filled with families when we go!

Came here for the ca nuong. Medium catfish is about $65. It seems like most who come here get the ca Nuong but a lot of the items look good...I want to come back to try the bun nem Nuong. The ca nuong is 3 stars. The aromatics are there and I like that they remove the bones for you. The meat itself is a little mushier than I'd like. I prefer a firmer texture. The pickled daikon and carrots are the thicker kind, which I like and they are perfectly pickled. The restaurant is spacious and clean and service was quick and efficient. I probably wouldn't order the catfish again but I do want to come back and try other items on the menu.

We visitied recently for the second time and I swear.....some other folks need to go with me and hubby next time so we can justify ordering the showstopping whole catfish! However, we ordered the delicous shrimp spring rolls that came with probably the cleanest peanut sauce I have ever had. Tasted homemade for sure. My husband and I ordered vermicilli bowls with grilled beef and chicken. The bowls had an abundance of veggies and flavorful meat. The little tiny eggroll bites were like eating the most delicous crunchy crouton that was a nice addition to the bowls. The freshness of the ingredients is what I appreciate the most. The service is outstanding and attentive. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. We have only gone for lunch but would like to see what the dinner atmosphere is like and of course, get that catfish!!!!!

Great restaurant! The staff was welcoming and friendly! It's very authentic Vietnamese food, so be ready to push yourself outside your comfort zone if you've never had it before. The portions were huge and the price was extremely reasonable! We enjoyed their rice sirloin plates, Vietnamese coffee, and prok spring rolls. We went on a Saturday so it was busy, but there was absolutely no wait time! The restaurant was also very clean.

Foods are okay, famous big fried fish is good to eat with big group but it should a bit more tasty. Service is okay, but they should work more for better tips. The restaurant has family style atmosphere, great for big group.

Soo delicious!! We'll definitely be back for more. The restaurant had easy parking and I appreciated the design and decor of the space. We usually go to Pho Bac but wanted to try something new. The portion is slightly smaller but the quality and flavor is better in my opinion. It's a great option for big parties as they offer many sharing entries. Service was great, this will be my new go to.

I brought my family from out of town to experience the giant fried fish that you use to make rolls. They enjoyed the experience and had a lot of fun eating it. The veggies were fresh and the staff were always so nice. I'd come back to eat the vietnamese nem. The food portions were great for our big party. I liked the cleanliness of the place.

We came on Saturday night, no wait was seated right away. This is definitely family meal place. We got the hot pot and it was a lot of food for 2 people, taste was okay.

So many delicious options! We had their pho and ca nuong. We got a medium size ca nuong, 2 phos, and 2 orders of the cha gio; it sounds like a lot but it was also the perfect amount of food for 4 people. Everything was very delicious and the meats for the pho was tender and soft. Their cha gio was deep fried in rice paper so it was a little different than the usually egg wrapper but I think it's even better and more crispy. The sauce that they give you for the ca nuong was a great compliment to the spring rolls; it had a hint of fish sauce yet it was different but very flavorful. Service was great and the food came out very fast.

I really have nothing but good things to say about this place. I was craving pho and searched for…read moregood pho places on TikTok and this place kept coming up. I decided to try it on Friday during lunch and since then I've already been back again. First off, this is a simple get in and get out type of restaurant. Immediately upon entering the restaurant I saw how busy it was ( a good sign of good food) but it wasn't chaotic and there was a number of staff standing around to help customers. I knew what I wanted and placed my order, immediately after I received my pho toppings and my pho online few minutes afterwards. I ordered a Medium, but a small will def do. I felt the broth was much more than the noodles. The second time I came here, I ordered a small and extra noodles. I added my toppings, hot sauce & hoisin sauce and it fulfilled my craving to a T! The vibe is laid back and homey. While I sat there, I saw several people come in eat and leave. It's a casual quick place to grab a bite.

I did have a negative experience related to two other customers I was with. One person was very…read morerude and even tried to skip ahead of a couple who had arrived before us. It was frustrating to be around that behavior, and I apologize on behalf of our group. They also had one of the waiters take and retake several photos, which was not fair to the staff. That experience made me realize those were not people I want to be around, and I appreciated the staff member who gave me a bit of perspective. I have had more peace since distancing myself from them. Now to the amazing Pho Bac. I loved their fried egg rolls and the medium sized beef pho. Everything was delicious. Even with the situation I mentioned, I still really enjoyed the food. I just wish I had ordered more to go. I will definitely go out of my way to come back. I have already recommended it to friends and family, and I hope to visit again very soon.
