Euphoric bliss is the word I use to describe how delicious the food is here. If you want anything that is equally refreshing and savory, order any of the lemongrass dishes. I came in during lunch on a weekday and this place was actually empty. I just ordered the Thai Dessert with Durian and the E11- Lemongrass Fish Fillet and holy moly, my taste buds were in heaven. For those with fussy Asian parents, I know this place will leave them with little complaints. A forewarning if you come for their famous Milky Jelly Dessert (Chè Khúc Bạch); a lot of folks popped in asking it but it usually is sold out until evening and they have to prep more. Apparently this is one of their most popular items and it sells out quickly so good luck! read more

I haven't had Vietnamese street food in a while and this place did not disappoint. I got Bắp Xào, Bánh Mì Nướng, and Chè Thái with Durian. The price is decent and they give you a lot of food. The Bắp Xào is average and I usually eat it with tương ớt as well. The Bánh Mì Nướng is really good though. They cut the bread into smaller pieces so it's a lot easier to eat. I wish the bread was a bit more crispy and warm though. Surprising combining the 2 food together was a great combo since the sweetness of the corn cuts down the saltiness of the grilled bread. The Chè Thái with Durian was phenomenal, it was perfect for a hot summer day. I wish they give you more durian though because it was like $12. The interior reminds me so much of Vietnam since I grew up over there. Everything they hang on the wall brought me back to my childhood. The walls are decorated with pictures of food and some funny memes. The service was really nice but the food did take a while to bring out. Snackie Viet, what took me so long to find you? I am honestly quite a bit mad at myself for not discovering this pure gem sooner but now in fact that I have, it is game over for my own self control. I sampled the Chè Thái sầu riêng. It was quite as good as I had imagined. Creamy, fruity, refreshing, and indulgent. If you like durian, this is a must-try. Indeed, the menu posted within is mainly in Vietnamese, but worry not, there's a QR code showing an English version as well as pictures, so no one is left guessing. Guess it's finally time to write a review after going to Snackie Viet 3x now! Each visit has been a hit. So far, I have tried 3 different drinks and 2 food items, and everything has been delicious and highly recommended. The Lemongrass Chili Pork Rib rice and The Thai Sauce pork belly rice were all a hit. The flavors are incredibly bold, with the portions indeed satisfying. In addition to all of that, the quality is always consistent across each of the visits. I've been seeing Snackie Viet on Instagram and Facebook so I was really excited to finally check this place out. This spot specializes in chè and boba tea, but they also have a big selection of Vietnamese street food on the side. I ordered their durian che Thai, and I originally expected it to come in a bowl, but it was actually served in a boba cup with straw and spoon which worked out just fine. It reminded me a little of Bambu but I think Snackie Viet is better because of the variety and amount of toppings they include. The mural art was cool and decor cute. read more

After seeing this place on social media, I decided to give Snackie Viet a visit but ultimately I left a bit disappointed by my experience. The food is "mid" tier at best, with the Cheese Shaking Fries being my least favorite item that I tried. The fries were pretty dry and not really seasoned at all, they tasted like McDonald's fries but with less seasoning and flavor, and powdered cheese dumped on top. I also tried the rice paper rolls which were ok, but didn't have much flavor either and were really sticky and difficult to eat (a lot of them were stuck together on the plate). By far my favorite item was the Garlic Fried Pork Belly rice, as the rice was pretty flavorful and the pork belly was decent. The service was pretty fast, but the water cups they give are very small so I frequently had to get refills. I think overall I probably won't come back here again... read more

I wanted to support and give this place a try but I'm more disappointed than impressed. List of items I ordered: 1. Fried taro, decent. I didn't care for the sauce that came with it 2. Banh Trang chon, good considering the area is lacking of this dish 3. Banh Trang Cham, similar to dish above but you dip it. I didn't care much for this. Flavor was not good. 4. Bun rieu, it was ok. I can make better 5. Banh mi nuong, I would have been better with lap suong instead of Vienna sausage or hot dog they used. I much prefer Chinese sausages. I wouldn't order this again. She also got a soup dish and said it was missing different typical toppings. She got the grass jelly drink and she said it was one dimensional. I agree. The last snack I got was the Flan, it came with tons of different toppings and they were all good and chewy. Mom Approved. I actually enjoy this a lot. Menu once you scan it has good pictures.
