Okay y'all! So bae and I went to Dallas and we had to come and try this place because it's highly recommended on TikTok. We finally made it. We ordered via online and realized they relocated. Of course we had to order multiple things to get a feel of their consistency. LET'S GET RIGHT INTO IT; We ordered the Pineapple Juice - (8/10) : The juice was good Hisbicus Tea - (4/10) : The tea was made with cane sugar; that defeated the purpose of a healthy and delicious tea. I really wanted it to be made with agave or date syrup. Side of Cabbage- (4/10) : Cabbage was very bland for fried cabbage, its wasn't seasoned at all and it wasn't cooked through enough to my liking. Side of Fried Brussel Sprouts - (7/10) : Brussel Sprouts were decent and actually seasoned. They just weren't mind blowingly good so a 7 was the best I could give it. Vegan Jerk Oxtail with Mushroom Rice - (8/10) : This right here was great however it was giving more vegan meatloaf then it was oxtail. We had to think of it as a meatloaf for us to be fully satisfied with the flavor. Overall though it was good and we enjoyed it. Vegan Lobster Mac and Cheese - (9/10) : This was the STAR of the show. It was delicious, creamy and the lobster pieces actually were giving lobster lowkey. We enjoyed this one the most and would return just to get this. The Ambiance of the restaurant was cool and definitely would be worth sitting in and enjoying the meals. The decor was decent inside and inside the bathroom, however, the bathroom needs to be upgraded. My rating... Tried Js International Grill for the first time, and overall, it was a solid experience. The seafood and meat were seasoned really well -- very flavorful. I ordered the seafood beef nachos, and both the shrimp and the beef were the bomb. The only downside for me was the queso cheese. Unfortunately, it was very bland and didn't add much to the dish. I'd give the seafood beef nachos a 6/10, mainly because the proteins were so good. I'll definitely be back to try the pasta and see what else they have to offer. read more

The turkey leg was extremely dry---dryer than my 9-year-old nephew's dinner conversation. It tasted as if it was severely overcooked, but strangely, it didn't look that way. And the mac, just made it worse. Although it was creamy, it didn't take like mac & cheese. Perhaps, I wasn't used to that type of flavor, but it was a total miss for us. Sadly, we were not able to identify the reason for the bast taste, but my husband and I each took a bite and ended up disposing of it. $30ish down the drain. This place is a definite NO for me! I've had a lot of jerk chicken and this in fact is the worse I've had. If I could sum it up in one word it would be DRY. The rice was dry and clumpy, the chicken was dry and flavorless....the season was only on the outside. The chicken was more like jerky. The rice didn't have any flavor and tasted like oil. I didn't order the Alfredo sauce but they gave it to me anyway.....probably because they knew it was dry. ALSO, the Alfredo came in a bowl without a top, it was covered in foil so some of it spilled out. I mean who sends food out like that? All in all, I wouldn't give this another try. I usually give second chances but I was so hungry and couldn't even eat it. FYI.... I ordered this around 4pm so there isn't a reason to receive old food. Went on a Saturday night and the dine-in was almost empty. After trying the food, I am very confused as to why that is the case. They have an extensive vegan menu and they do not under deliver. The vegan veggie pasta comes with a creamy alfredo sauce and the jerk "chicken" with mushroom wild rice was seasoned very well. I would definitely try to come back. The interior is decorated nicely and staff is friendly. I would recommend the business to have their store sign light up, as it was a bit hard to find the place in the complex at night. The hostess was super nice and answered all our questions. She was attentive throughout our service. The inside is set up like a standard restaurant but you can tell it can be converted to a lounge style place after hours or late night. Second time trying J's international grill and it did not disappoint . I like the restaurants vibe here . The decor pops out when you walk in and the afrobeats playing adds a great touch. The two times I've been here, there was no line nor was it over crowded. Plenty of seating and bar area space to have a meal with family or friends . Came here for a musical event in which tickets were reserved and bought. We arrived and there were people sitting in our seats. When this was mentioned to the hostess, she pointed to another table however I told her that i paid for specific seats. In the end, only one lady moved where we still didn't have the seats we had paid for. As for the show, the music was wonderful however be prepared that there isn't a real stage so if you have a seat towards the back it may be obstructed. They also get you with doors open at an earlier time as they are wanting you to come in and order drinks & food. Sadly the service time was slow where I had to flag down the server and ask about where my drink was or how much longer for my food to come. As for the food and drinks, it was extremely over priced ($40 for 2 drinks & fries) and they automatically add gratuity. The lady sitting in my seat actually demanded a discount as she waited so long for her food to come and she proclaimed it was cold. Which needed a wipe down. The whole place needed a renovation tbh but the food definitely justifies it! Also for $30 for a plate, I'd expect it to be nicer inside.
