The porch is really hard to leave. We loved the view, appreciated the space heaters, and had great service where we were unrushed. The ahi ceviche was lovely and well balanced, the miso Caesar was perfectly flavored. Each of the glasses of wine I had were suggested by our wonderful server whose name I sadly can't recall and he hit the mark each time. The Chardonnay on the list was my absolute favorite. I'd hang out here many nights in a row if given the opportunity.

Enjoyed the casual cozy vibes during dinner here - lots of family gatherings during the holiday season. Good service. Prices were ok for a hotel restaurant and food was meh. The crab cake was our favorite, though a slight bummer that you only get one. The salmon BLT was good too. The petrale sole entree felt a little heavy. Would pass on the bread pudding next time - the ice cream was great but the pudding itself was a little too dense.

Farley and Sula - Elegant Dining with a View at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito I have dined at Farley and Sula about five times since last November for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, both for work and leisure. While the food is consistently good, it does feel slightly overpriced for the location and limited competition within walking distance of the lodge. What sets this destination apart is the ambiance and flexibility. Guests can dine on either side of the two restaurants or enjoy a meal outdoors under heat lamps with sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay, the city skyline, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Farley offers a sophisticated gastropub-style setting with a casual yet elevated menu, while Sula provides a more relaxed lounge experience. I love that both restaurants share menus, allowing guests to sample dishes from each while seated anywhere on the property. The service is consistently warm and professional, adding to the comfort of the experience. However, I do not agree with the 4% kitchen staff surcharge applied to food items. In my opinion, compensating staff properly should be the restaurant's responsibility, not an additional cost for guests. Must-Try Dishes at Farley and Sula Classic Benedict ($28) - 4.5/5 Served with Canadian bacon, tomato, hollandaise, and breakfast potatoes. This dish was flavorful, satisfying, and perfect for a working breakfast. The sauce made it a bit tricky to eat neatly, but it was still delicious. Blue Crab Cake ($26) - 4.9/5 Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, this crab cake was beautifully presented and paired perfectly with dill remoulade and pickled mushrooms. A must-order for seafood lovers. Watermelon and Heirloom Tomato Salad ($30) - 4.7/5 A refreshing mix of endive, arugula, feta, basil, and minted vinaigrette. The presentation was stunning, and the flavors were balanced and fresh. While delicious, it felt slightly overpriced compared to other entrées. Fort Bragg Petrale Sole ($36) - 4.9/5 This dish stood out for its presentation and balance of flavors. The parmesan crust and toasted almond risotto were delightful, complemented by lemon and thyme butter. Coffee-Rubbed New York Steak ($54) - 4/5 The steak was well-seasoned with chipotle-lime butter and served with crispy potato wedges and corn salsa. The flavors were excellent, but the steak arrived slightly cooler than expected, which detracted from the overall enjoyment. Caramel Bread Pudding ($13) - 4.9/5 Served warm with vanilla ice cream, this dessert was rich, comforting, and perfect for enjoying outdoors on a cool evening. It was the ideal sweet ending to a scenic dinner. Drinks Sausalito Sunset ($19) - 1/5 A mix of rums, passionfruit, coconut, and nutmeg. Unfortunately, it was overly sweet and syrupy, masking the individual flavors. Palomita ($19) - 3/5 A tequila and mezcal cocktail with grapefruit and fresno agave. The flavor was balanced but not memorable. Final Thoughts Farley and Sula provide one of the most scenic dining experiences in Sausalito, with panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline. The ambiance and service make this an excellent spot for a romantic dinner, a business lunch, or a relaxing brunch at Cavallo Point Lodge. While the prices can feel high and the drinks inconsistent, the food quality and atmosphere are worth experiencing at least once. For locals, I recommend enjoying a picnic on the grass, hike around the nearby trails and returning here in the evening for a glass of wine and dessert by the fire.

Come ! Our server Francisco was the best. He made the day. What a beautiful day in one of the most iconic places in the world. Emmet was also super sweet. They really have a super team here. Highly recommend for amazing drinks.

Grilled New York Steak and Eggs* International Orange

Steak and eggs usually comes with a tough and chewy piece of meat, lacking in flavor. Not the case here. Probably the best version of this dish I've had. The sourdough toast was fresh and excellent. I had the International Orange brunch cocktail and loved it (I love a cocktail with egg whites involved). It takes at least 8 minutes to make; I was forewarned, and it came out just a tad after my food - worth the wait. I've eaten here maybe between 7-10 times and I've never been unhappy with the experience.

Service was outstanding. We always had the best servers who very attentive and remembered us when we came back (we were staying on the property). We sat on the patio and had the best view, it was perfect vibes for our breakfast. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was delicious. Would absolutely eat here again!

We came here on a Saturday during lunch hour hoping for the Farley All Day Menu, but it turns out on weekends, only the Sula (the restaurant across from Farley) Weekend Brunch menu is available. For the table, we got the Blue Crab Cake and Umami Fries, which everyone loved. The French Dip sandwich was fantastic, and you get a generous amount. Likewise for the Grassfed Burger, which they cook to about medium rare. For the Ahi Tuna Poke, you really do not get a lot for the price, and I could barely make out the papaya, which the menu said was included in the dish. For a lover of poke, Farley's approach to poke didn't hit the spot for me. What shines here is the service. The bartender was able to provide perfect cocktail recommendations based on our preferences. In all we had the most wonderful time at Farley and will definitely be coming again.

I got engaged yesterday at Cavallo Point, and I just have to share something that made the day even more special. A huge shout-out to Erdem--he is truly one of the sweetest people I've ever met! My partner and I have visited Farley's Bar before, where Erdem has been our bartender, and every time he's made the experience unforgettable. He's welcoming, knowledgeable, and just an all-around kind soul. Yesterday, Erdem went above and beyond to make our celebration even more memorable, surprising us with a champagne toast and a lovely dessert. It's these little touches that made the day feel so extraordinary, and we're so grateful for his kindness. Farley's is lucky to have such an incredible person on their team! Thank you, Erdem, for making our engagement day even more magical. You're the best! :)

Had this placed in my "restaurants to try in Saucelito" on my Instagram so my dad and I decided to try them for my birthday! They did not disappoint! The food was great! The mocha latte was perfect, no sugar even needed and that says a lot because I have a huge sweet tooth! The service was perfect! Everyone was so polite and nice! The seats were so comfortable! I felt like I was at a super fancy restaurant for celebrities but the prices were surprisingly not insane! From the looks of it, we thought we were going to spend a couple hundreds lol! The place is also huge! And they validate your parking with vallet for not fee! I would definitely come back! Definitely let vallet park your car because it's a weird location and you would not be able to park or find a park on your own! (That was confusing because it was unclear where you could and couldn't park). The drive there was very pretty as well!

I was there for my birthday lunch December 2 and it was a party of five and we ordered the umami fries. The Parker House rolls with lavender butter and I shared a fried chicken sandwich with my friend. My other friend got the salad with chicken and pomegranates and butternut squash which she said was not cooked enough and my sister got the soup special and my brother got a hamburger which he finished so I presume it was good. The only bad thing was the service in terms of the server and bussers started to clear plates not waiting until everybody is finished which is standard protocol and to the point where my brother said please don't clear my plate until everyone else is finished even though he was done ---something that a server in a restaurant of this caliber shouldn't have to be told by a guest. We felt ever so slightly a rushed quality, even though we were the only guests in the restaurant and they were nowhere near closing time. I would go again, but I would probably tell the manager upon leaving that their servers need more training. I didn't do that that day because it was my birthday.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich

We ate here last night during our stay at Cavallo Point. We were able to get in very quickly and the hostess was really nice, which was super convenient after a long day exploring the city. The restaurant also had good ambience. Our food was really good as well. I got the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and my husband got the french dip sandwich, which he really enjoyed. However, our server seemed rude at times and didn't seem like he wanted to be serving us. I initially thought it was maybe his personality or usual demeanor (not everyone is a people person, right?), but then I noticed him being very warm and interactive with other guests around us. Additionally, I did bite into a piece of what I think is parchment paper while eating my fried chicken sandwich. The food was delicious, but I did lose my appetite a bit after biting into that. I still took the food back to our room in case I wanted to eat it later though. I did not feel comfortable bringing it up to our server in the restaurant just because of our interactions with him throughout the meal.

We stayed at Cavallo Point and ended up eating here a few times just because it was easy to walk in without a reservation and the food was always tasty! It is a little expensive, but I sort of expected it, and I didn't think the prices were totally outside the realm of what you normally pay for food in the Sausalito/SF area. The bartenders and servers were always polite and friendly, the food again, I thought was really tasty, even the side salads, and the drinks were good! Overall we really enjoyed Farley!

Pleasantly surprised with the food and drinks. Super chill ambience with nostalgic and historic vibes. They seated us at the high top pub tables for happy hour before we moved to the other side of the restaurant for dinner. Attentive service, but they can be quite slow. Great Sausalito Sunset (passionfruit) cocktail and fries. Definitely get those PERFECT fries -- large serving with the wonderful amount of puffiness, crunchy exterior, and fluffy interior. For dinner, we selected items from the prix fixe menu ($125 per person). -House Made Parker Rolls -Mixed Greens -Seasonal Soup -Fresh Catch (with corn risotto, asparagus, pepperonata, butter sauce, lime) **^Summer Fruit Cobbler (with house made ice cream): Best thing on the menu! The peach cobblers were insanely delicious! They ran out of them by the end of the evening, but the amount was more than enough for our large party. They gave us some chocolate cakes in place of some cobblers. I would 100% come back for the fries and peach cobbler any day! Bonus: if you have lodging with them, there's a complimentary glass of wine from 4-6pm in the main lobby.

Not close enough for walking as it's a little more than 2 miles away from the ferry in Sausalito, so taking a Lyft or riding a bike would make more sense.

Service was fairly attentive - there was only one slight hiccup with one entree not coming out until around 5 minutes after everyone's dish so we had to wait. Pretty good selection of signature cocktails. The Liquid Gold was refreshing and not that strong. As for the food, we got the tartare, crab empanada, bungalow Benedict, and the phyllo crusted pork chop. The tartare was fresh and not fishy at all, but was missing some salt. Crab empanada was great. The cilantro avocado puree and aioli complemented the crab well. Eggs Benedict was standard. It was nice that it came with a model bakery English muffin, but nothing stood out. Pork chop was fried very well. Crispy exterior but soft inside. It was a pretty hefty cut as well. I expected more from the taverna fries but it seemed like standard frozen fries. The chimichurri sauce was good but had an aioli texture, which was weird but still good taste wise. To end, the butterscotch budino was fairly light and had a good sweetness. All in all, the lunch was still enjoyable especially with the view. I do wish there was that wow factor in some of the dishes to better match the price.
