This reads elevated California diner. A long menu that serves brunch/breakfast daily until 3pm, along with a lunch and dinner menu. They have your savory and sweet items from eggs to pancakes, a list of burgers and salads, they also have some more main lunch items like pasta and clams and fish and steak tacos There is plenty of seating both inside and out. And service was friendly and good. Seemingly one bathroom which could be an issue if it's busy since this place seats a lot of people. We split the lobster Benedict and fish tacos; both hearty dishes and both not cheap. But both were delicious and filling. The hollandaise sauce on the Benny was so light and fresh accompanied with perfect breakfast potatoes. The fish tacos were full of fish with the bright slaw being the star. We ate a little after the lunch rush and were able to leisurely enjoy lunch and talk without being rushed. Ambiance was great. Downtown Tiburon is so cute! Good eats and picturesque scenery at Salt & Pepper in Tiburon. The service was great- quick and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed the Niman Ranch burger. I got mine medium rare and the beef was juicy but not greasy. The sear added a Smokey flavor to the beef, yummy! The brioche bun was buttery and warm and the mayo was salty and savory. The mixed greens complimented the burger well, fresh and crunchy. The Ahi Tuna Tartare was yummy and I loved the presentation. Portion-wise it was a little lackluster and the fish itself didn't taste the freshest, but still good! The vibe was amazing. First of all, thank you for being open this Fourth of July morning! Most restaurants are closed including next to the Lodge at Tiburon where we are staying. I ordered the huevos rancheros and hubs had ham and eggs. I ordered the ranchero sauce on the side and no sour cream. It came with lots of melted cheese over the eggs so I gave most of it to hubs. Then I was disappointed that there were no tortillas until I started eating and there was corn tortillas under the eggs! I thought that was genius actually because my whole life I've always scooped up everything with tortillas but I like this way too because the tortillas were soft and tasty, not cold! We really enjoyed our breakfast and the subtle background music. Despite the initial attention from the staff, after ordering the staff wasn't as attentive to our table. I ordered a black and blue burger which is their most ordered burger. Came here for a post Angel Island hike brunch and it did not disappoint. One of my groups comes here regularly so I thought I'd check it out. The location is convenient and the space is super cute. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was excellent, my niece and I had a top tier experience. I ordered the crab cakes and a pear salad. My niece ordered the linguini with chicken. My salad was ultra flavorful. Not only was it perfectly put together, but everything from the crispy pears, fresh greens, yummy blue cheese, and tasty pecans mixed with the dressing was a party for my palate. Just delicious. The crab cakes were the perfect texture, but honestly they were so salty I didn't enjoy them. But cleaned my plate anyway. My niece loved the linguini and I tasted the chicken and pesto sauce and thought it was extremely delicious. I could tell the pesto wasn't traditional, but it was so packed with flavor it was a delightful experience for my palate. I enjoyed a nice, fresh strawberry mimosa and my niece liked her mimosa. I chose the Grilled Wild Kong salmon, capers, garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini. It was very good. Next time, I'd order the fish medium rare instead of medium. Frank Family Chardonnay 2022 from the Carneros region, which was outstanding especially with the salmon and its beurre blanc sauce. Full-bodied. In the aroma and palate, I could detect lemon, spices, vanilla, and pear. My companion had slow-cooked baby back ribs, homemade BBQ sauce, coleslaw, French fries. And Bonterra organic Chardonnay from Monterey 2022; subtle flavors. We shared a hot fudge sundae with a maraschino cherry on top. The vanilla Silverman's ice cream and sauce was delicious, but it didn't seem like hot fudge because it wasn't very thick. The ambiance is cozy and so wonderfully very quiet overall when we were there on a Sunday night--only heard the Door Dash dinging twice. Plenty of open tables at 7pm in this cozy restaurant. It reminded me a bit of being on a boat with its efficient use of space and nautical photos on the wall. You walk through the open prep area on the way to the bathroom--you'll want to note there's a step down on the way. The wait staff was attentive, pleasant, and provided gently playful comments which was sweet. Parking is challenging on this narrow street. At 6:45pm, we had to park in the nearby parking lot and walk about a block or so. We almost didn't find an open space! read more

First time visiting Tiburon and found this local spot. They are known for their breakfast and brunch menu so I ordered a scramble egg plate and the staff recommended the salmon sandwich. The scramble was really solid, there was a lot of meat and cheese and the hash brown was really good as well. Don't forget to ask for the ham on the side, it was really good with the sourdough toast! They do have a good drink selection, and they offered me the soup of the day which was pretty great. I was pleasantly surprised for the finesse and tastiness of it. I ordered fish tacos and was hopeful as it is hard to come across decent fish tacos anywhere. I got them and the presentation was good- the tortillas were legit, salsa and slaw looked good, but the actual fish was a let down. Instead of a nice, grilled fish, it was just cubes of semi boiled fish. The texture was off, and they didn't hold a lot of flavor. I'm guessing they have ok dishes over all, but it's a bit tricky to figure out which they are. So, take some dice, pick a dish, and good luck. read more

Great little breakfast spot! I came here for the first time recently since I pretty rarely spend time in Tiburon, but I'm so glad I did! The interior decor was so cute and the service was quick. I started with a black coffee as always, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Drip can be pretty hit or miss at a lot of breakfast joints, but this was perfectly brewed, not too burnt or watery. For my meal I ordered the spinach omelette. It came with slices of toast as well as hash browns. I'm not a huge shredded hash brown fan because I feel like they usually come out pretty mushy, but these were crispy and flavorful! This was our first time here. We ordered the brussel sprouts, fennel and bacon salad to start. Then we ordered the rib eye steak and grilled skirt steak, both medium rare. The brussel sprout salad was delicious with the sweet potato chips. At this point, we had high hopes that we'd enjoy this meal. Parts of the rib eye were a little pink, and some parts were medium well. I expected the rib eye to be tender and juicy, but it turned out thin, dry and tough. The carrots and onions were crunchy. We both prefer soft carrots. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal, except it was a small portion. The skirt steak was mediocre, and we felt it was better than the rib eye steak. The fries were plain and standard, nothing special. There should have been more seasoning. The skirt steak was well done, no pink at all! It was most likely the inside cut, which isn't very tender. I would expect a nice restaurant to serve the outside cut, which is super tender (like Buckeye does), All in all, we were very disappointed and will not be coming back. read more

This is a cozy, homey spot for dinner with close friends. My friend and I dropped by for a late night dinner after a day of exploring the area. We ordered the seafood paella (the special of the day) and a plate of fries. The food was alright; it did the job since we were quite hungry. The seafood paella was a little watery and bland, but had a nice selection of seafood in it. The fries were standard but paired nicely with our dinner. My mom & I shared a bowl of clam chowder as part of our appetizer and thought it lacked flavor. I ordered the Roasted Chicken that included mashed potatoes and veggies. I thought the chicken was cooked perfectly & carrots still had a nice crunch to it. My sister ordered the Rib Eye Steak, my mom - Spaghetti, & my dad - the Wild King Fillet of Salmon. Local favorite breakfast spot - we dine there at least twice a month. My current favorite is the avocado toast on whole grain with eggs over easy sprinkled with marash pepper and paired with a very fresh green salad with light vinaigrette. All the Benedict's are solid and satisfying as well. The breakfast burrito is tasty and filling. If you are looking for traditional 2 egg breakfast, that is pretty good too. Good diner coffee but cappuccinos are also excellent. Service is welcoming and attentive with rarely a wait between tables evenly split between inside and outdoors. Dog friendly! read more

My family and I visited after a long days hike, and we were really looking forward to trying their food. Our orders were quickly taken and food came out shortly after. Unfortunately very disappointed with the food here. My friend and I order the tuna tartare as a starter and had the Seafood Spaghetti and lobster enchiladas as our mains. Had grapefruit juice and an iced tea for drinks. No notes on the iced tea, but the grapefruit juice was very sour. Now onto the food: 4/10 - The tuna tartare was ok - not the best but wasn't the worst. They definitely skimped on the tuna. I almost always order the tuna tartare at restaurants if available and I've never been to a place that served this amount. The tuna itself was about an inch thick and came on a bed of greens about double the thickness. 2.5/10- The lobster enchiladas wasn't great either. The rice and beans were fine. Nothing special. The lobster was definitely frozen. It was rubbery and overcooked. Not fresh at all. Also needs more seasoning. 0/10- The seafood spaghetti was the real disappointment of the whole meal. It was by far the worst spaghetti I've had at any restaurant. I'm not sure if they even seasoned it. It also came in pasta water which was strange. I've never seen or had pasta served like this before. They also heavily skimped on the seafood. Came with one shrimp, clams, and some fish. Super bland dish. Service was ok. We were seated quickly, the food came out quick, and the server offered to bring us a heater since we were sitting outside. Downside was that when bringing us boxes, he dropped it, waited for us to pick it up, and didn't offer to bring a clean one which was strange. We enjoyed brunch after an amazing hike, on a Saturday late morning here in beautiful, scenic, Tiburon. I had a green salad with grilled salmon that was just fantastic. The greens and avocado were plentiful and the salmon was cooked medium rare, just the way I like it. The waitress asked me how I like it cooked, which was great. My sister had the crab cakes which she said were delicious. I also had a cup of their clam chowder, which was flavorful, but seemed a little under done - the potatoes needed a bit more time. A very nice meal, and definitely worth a return trip when in town. There were so many yummy options for salads with different seafoods added on. read more

Day out in Tiburon, brought us here for brunch. My youngest son ordered the Marin Bagel, as I didn't notice it comes with Gina Marie cream cheese, he was not a fan. This is not your typical store bought cream cheese from the taste to texture. But to my surprise they served this. It's just pure cultured milk, cream, and salt and is actually pretty good and I prefer this over any store brand. You can't get a better tasting cream cheese. To drink we decided on Mojitos, the bar tender must be new or lied on his application because this was a horrible margarita. The server was nice enough to take them off the bill as we didn't take no more than two sips. Santa Fe omelet was pretty bland but did ask for a side of salsa and this gave it a little more flavor. Veggie omelet was the same. Lacking seasoning in the eggs nothing to exciting was more of a $7 priced breakfast then a $17. Over all just two omelets and bad drinks. read more
