We stopped here after walking from the GG bridge to here. Yes, you heard that right we walked. And we were starving. We started out with some sparkling water and fried calamari. Then for lunch we decided on fish and chips for me. And Salmon salad for my husband. Both were delicious. My fries were perfectly hot and crispy. My fish was a little oily but good. My husband really enjoyed his salad. Then for dessert we had THE MOST INCREDIBLE banana foster cake. It was by far the best dish of our meal. I look forward to coming back for their weekend brunch. Also our server Francisco was great!! Very friendly and was just a pleasure. Its also very warm inside and has a great view of the GG.

Service was great but we were in the back room and there was a big group who were very loud. We had a carrot soup which was tasty, burrata which came with fluffy grilled bread and grilled radicchio, bread was good, not sure if I like grilled radicchio but that's me. Partner wouldn't even try it but he liked the halibut. Pretty restaurant but on a warm ish night like tonight I might opt for the outside seating which would have been quieter and more peaceful. Adding photos because there didn't seem to be a lot posted.

We stayed at the Cavallo Point Lodge for a few days so we ate at Sula several times - three days for breakfast and two for dinner. The interior is classy without being stuffy. We ate exclusively in the front of the restaurant by the windows - there is a big more formal looking room in the back but I didn't see anyone there. It was pretty quiet mid-week so maybe they use that when it's busy. I liked the art and the decor a lot - it went well with the history of the place. The breakfasts were all really good. I had bacon and eggs twice - the bacon is very tasty and I especially loved the sourdough toast. They give you a little serving of fruit normally and the second day I skipped the potatoes and got a big fruit cup. Really nice fresh berries and melon. Coffee was also excellent. I also had the avocado toast one day and it was incredible - lots of butternut squash on top which was a really tasty and beautiful surprise. I would recommend skipping the tomato - it didn't add anything and made it harder to eat. I wound up taking them out. We ate a couple of dinners here too and I thought the dinner menu was ok but not as consistent as breakfast and lunch (they share a kitchen with Farley next door). My husband had a NY steak that wasn't a great cut and was overcooked. To their credit they took it off the bill without question. The fig and burrata appetizer was good. I had goat cheese ravioli that was just ok and the petrale sole which was excellent. The servers were all excellent - they introduced themselves and were really friendly and remembered us from day to day. Overall we had a great experience during our stay and while it was expensive, it wasn't outrageous for the quality of the hotel.

Beautiful setting with unbeatable views of the Golden Gate Bridge--easily the highlight of the experience. The food is solid and thoughtfully prepared, with a modern American menu and some creative touches. Worth it for the ambiance and location alone, especially for brunch or a sunset dinner.

Outstanding is an understatement. My boyfriend and I dined here Saturday, 7/19/2025 to celebrate his birthday. We made a reservation at 5pm right when they opened for dinner. We were greeted kindly as we walked in. They were so accommodating to our request we had put under the reservation which we really appreciated. We were seated near the fireplace which was lovely. Service was incredible - we had Rudy who was so attentive and kind! Top tier. We were so excited about the food, from the appetizers to dessert. Each dish was presented with so much thought and care. We ordered the Pork Belly Mac and Cheese as well as the Burrata & Stone Fruit for appetizers. Our favorite dish of the night was definitely the Pork Belly Mac and Cheese. It was rich in flavor and the pork was cooked perfectly. It was difficult to choose our favorite. For our main course my boyfriend ordered the coffee-crusted steak while I ordered the Petrale Sole. Both absolutely delicious. I probably would have liked a tad bit more flavor in the Petrale Sole but is was already a perfect dish. For dessert we went for the Basil Limoncello Tiramisu which was a different take on Tiramisu yet had the traditional elements added in. We really enjoyed the strawberry sorbet. They surprised my boyfriend and sang Happy Birthday which was a sweet touch. Thank you very much for an incredible evening. We've eaten at a fair share of restaurants and Sula is our favorite. We can't stop raving about this restaurant. Can't wait to dine again soon!

Really liked the breakfast here. The loco moco had great flavor and was filling, and the avocado toast was good too. It's definitely a little pricey but typical for a hotel restaurant. Good service and fun, preppy decor.

It's an American fusion restaurant with great variety of cuisine and drinks. Full bar. Amazing views to Golden Gate Bridge and hills. Delicious, fresh and well portioned plates. Inside and outdoor seating. There are two side by side restaurants and OK if you cross order. Not sure if accessible given some stairs. Street parking available. Good for couples, date night, small group and meetup.

What can I say except this is one of my most favorite places to eat when we stay in Sausalito. Even better when we are staying at Cavallo Point because we can just walk from our room for breakfast, lunch and dinner or visit the bar at Farley! The food is always excellent and we have our favorite servers. It is elevated casual dining and the restaurant is beautiful with fire places and heaters on the patio if you are dining outside. We have dined outside for breakfast and lunch but inside for the evening. We stayed for 3 nights at Cavallo this time so we ate our way through most of the menu yet again! I highly recommend as it is such a hidden gem tucked back in Sausalito. I almost selfishly don't want to do a review because I love that it is a slower pace and hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city! 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful dining experience-- from the cozy yet sophisticated ambiance to the incredible service from our waiter, we were already impressed and ready to enjoy brunch. And then came the food.... Which was absolutely delicious!! We got their burger and the dip sandwich, both of which were extremely tasty and well portioned. We finished our meal with a "starter" and ordered the beignets last! Personally, loved doing this so we had a nice sweet at the end. And they were also delicious!!!

My family decided to take my brother here for his birthday because Sula is one of his favorite restaurants. I had not experienced Sula but am SO glad I got to! The setting is beautiful, the restaurant is an architectural and interior design delight, and the food is uniquely amazing. My four year old nephew and I were greeted by kind, friendly staff upon entering the front foyer. My Mom, brother, and sister-in-law enjoyed looking at the grounds and lighting while walking in behind us. Soon after we were seated, our waiter came over with crayons and a children's menu that contained a maze and animals to color on the back. My nephew loved it! We all enjoyed our meal. The little guy had chicken fingers and fries, saying that he liked the crispy-ness. I had the spaghetti squash dish which had the most delicious and uniquely flavored sauce. My Mom and brother had the pasta dish called "Casarecce and Burrata" which they said was flavorful. My sister-in-law combined the Blue Crab Cake with a salad which she said was delish. The Parker rolls complimented it all. And for dessert, I dove into the chocolate layered cake, my sister-in-law had tasty macarons, and my nephew ate up vanilla ice cream. We had a wonderful Tuesday night dinner experience at Sula and look forward to our return visit soon!

Looking for a restaurant with great service, delicious food and wonderful views? Look no further, Sula is all of the above and more. After your meal here, be sure to take a walk along the grounds to the pier where families are fishing and catching crabs or walk along the shoreline to admire the bridge. There is also access to the Golden Gate Bridge from the walkway. Parking is easy, either valet or in a dirt lot close to the children's museum and the coast guard headquarters. We were seated quickly by a friendly server and ordered an oat milk latte, crab cake, a side of chicken sausage and the bacon and mushroom scramble. All arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious! We would definitely order it all again, no doubt. Prices are reasonable for all the food we received and well worth it. We highly recommend a stop here for a meal, as the menu has something for everyone! Enjoy!

The former location of Murray Circle, the main restaurant at the Cavallo Point Resort. It's taken on more of an Asian flair in aesthetic and design, yet still retains the woodsy lodge feel to it. This place is always a cozy, comfortable place for a casual meal. I came here for brunch, meeting a friend, and was immediately seated with a reservation. At noon on a Sunday it wasn't all that crowded. We got a nice banquet in the back of the place and it was quite pleasant for conversation. The menu is quite good, and several interesting choices. I decided to try the seasonal frittata with butternut squash. It was quite good, like a flat pancake of good ingredients. The taste and flavor was right on target. For some strange reason it seemed to loose flavor and became less enjoyable as it cooled, somewhat bland. Even so, it was enjoyable enough overall. I also got an iced tea which was good enough, with a fresh lemon wedge. Service was professional and helpful, not at all rushed. I enjoy this place and if you happen to be nearby it is a bit off the beaten path, yet worth the visit. Prices are fair.

Really great spot, very very pretty restaurant and great ambiance, dim lighting, great space for a date or a dinner gathering. Service was teriffic, everyone was super friendly and accommodating with our toddler. Our server took care of us very well. Food was served efficiently. Food was superb ordered oysters, lobster mac and cheese, pumpkin soup, salmon, and lamb chops. Everything was seasoned well and are portioned out quite well. Definitely coming back again, great experience

We opted for the Brunch Prix Fixe menu ($49 per person), selecting two appetizers and two entrées, and every single dish exceeded expectations. To begin, the Jalapeño Lobster Toast was a standout. The lobster was incredibly tender and sweet, elevated by a delicate kick from the jalapeño, the ginger aïoli added a subtle warmth. Each bite was layered, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Equally impressive was Michael Mina's Ahi Tuna Tartare (well worth the supplement). This dish was a masterpiece of freshness and complexity. The tuna was pristine, melting in the mouth, while the combination of mint, chilis, and Asian pear created a mix of coolness, heat, and sweetness. The pine nuts added a welcome crunch, and the garlic habanero-sesame oil delivered a bold, aromatic depth that made the dish very unique. For the main course, the Bungalow Benedict was pure comfort elevated to perfection. Served on a beautifully toasted Model Bakery English muffin, the Canadian bacon was rich and savory, while the poached eggs were cooked flawlessly, their yolks silky and indulgent. The hollandaise was luxuriously smooth while the breakfast potatoes on the side were crisp, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The Steak Frites Au Poivre (also a supplement) was another highlight. The filet medallions were cooked exactly to temperature (we asked for med rare) tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The au poivre sauce added a refined peppery richness that complemented the meat beautifully. The crinkle-cut fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! Dessert was the perfect finale. The Brûléed Basque Cheesecake was extraordinary, so creamy and rich with a delicately caramelized top that added depth and texture. The Three Layer Chocolate Cake was pure decadence. Moist, rich, and intensely chocolatey, it was elevated by the lightness of whipped crème fraîche. The salted caramel sauce tied everything together with a perfect sweet-salty finish....you can tell I'm a chocoholic! Beyond the food, the ambiance deserves special mention. The space is incredibly refined, with a soothing palette of pastel tones that immediately invites relaxation. The décor draws inspiration from Art Nouveau and Art Deco, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and thoughtfully curated. Everything is immaculate, contributing to an overall sense of understated luxury. Finally, the service truly elevated the entire experience. The General Manager, Giovanni, was outstanding. He guided us through every detail of the menu, offering thoughtful explanations and perfectly pairing wines with each course. His presence was attentive yet never intrusive, making us feel completely at ease. His professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge added a personal touch that made the experience truly memorable. RECCOMENDED!
