Amazing local bar! Everything I could ask for when wandering a town. They had multiple pool tables, 3 I think. A shuffle board, darks and pin ball. The bar was open and had a great layout! The bartender / owner was so friendly and wonderful. Such a great chill local vibe if you are looking to play some pool and have a beer or two. The pool tables were $2 a game and the tables were in great shape!

Nice little dive bar! The bartender was good too, which is always a surprise at dive bars. Had a great Manhattan and boulevardier!

It was a slow day, and the food didn't seem all that complicated, so I accepted. Even with no staff, John cooked me a burger, gave me some chips, and handed it off to me. The couch was soft and pillows were plush. I was initially on the fence about accepting a free meal, but I am glad now that I was welcomed into such a vibrant atmosphere. The hospitality is a big plus. The crowds can get big in the evening, so I suggest making reservations ahead of time. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is the big highlight as well as looking at the king fishers and blue herons. I wish they would add some aquariums. Would be a nice touch.

After reading some reviews here I knew it was a small place, so I was pleasantly surprised I could get a reservation during our trip to Sausalito. My husband and I had recently enjoyed some caviar for the first time but we are no experts, and I was a little worried that he might not get enough to eat. Turns out we both left perfectly satisfied. The place is tiny but so elegant. The bar is right in front of the kitchen that is sparkling clean and the chef prepares everything right there. There is a little high top table too and there was a couple there when we arrived, but afterward it was just us and we felt like royalty treated to our private dinner. We aren't caviar experts by any means but Yo did a great job explaining the different caviar flights including where it comes from - turns out the white sturgeon is farmed in the Sacramento Delta. We chose the Menage a Trois white sturgeon flight and it was so elegant. Three kinds of caviar plus all these homemade breads and crackers to enjoy it with. Every bite was amazing and I think we only left a couple of chives. Afterward we picked a couple of other dishes - the Chawanamushi and the Dungeness crab ravioli. Both were exquisite- in flavor and presentation. For dessert we had the sweet potato - Yo described it as a ganache - which I couldn't really picture but it was a very accurate description. It came with asian pear and was just the perfect finish to our meal. I had a couple glasses of French bubbly with my meal - normally I can't do more than one glass of champagne but it was crisp and yummy and paired well with everything we ate. When we were finished we got our check in a cute sturgeon pulp science fiction book. It was the final thoughtful detail to a wonderful evening. Chef Lance is a real artist and he really thinks through the ingredients and the flavors. Everything was so delicious and creative. I hope we get to come back again someday.

Service was fairly attentive - there was only one slight hiccup with one entree not coming out until around 5 minutes after everyone's dish so we had to wait. Pretty good selection of signature cocktails. The Liquid Gold was refreshing and not that strong. As for the food, we got the tartare, crab empanada, bungalow Benedict, and the phyllo crusted pork chop. The tartare was fresh and not fishy at all, but was missing some salt. Crab empanada was great. The cilantro avocado puree and aioli complemented the crab well. Eggs Benedict was standard. It was nice that it came with a model bakery English muffin, but nothing stood out. Pork chop was fried very well. Crispy exterior but soft inside. It was a pretty hefty cut as well. I expected more from the taverna fries but it seemed like standard frozen fries. The chimichurri sauce was good but had an aioli texture, which was weird but still good taste wise. To end, the butterscotch budino was fairly light and had a good sweetness. All in all, the lunch was still enjoyable especially with the view. I do wish there was that wow factor in some of the dishes to better match the price.

It's a bit pricey as you would expect for a hotel restaurant. They have lots of seating and when the sun comes out you can eat out on the deck, overlooking the amazing views of this wonderful place. I had the salmon BLT, the Miso Caesar with grilled shrimp, and the last day I had the burger. The burger and sandwiches come with salad, if you want to get fries there is an up charge. I like salads and I'm used to the opposite so I was pleased. And the salads are generous, with radish and tomatoes and good lettuce. My husband did get the fries on the last day and they were yummy - worth the up charge for sure. The burger was his favorite - he also liked his chicken sandwich but it was a little harder to eat. Service staff is all excellent. I'd definitely come here again, even if I wasn't staying at the hotel.

On a packed playoff weekend, the Bears-Packers game felt more rowdy Chicago than sleepy Mill Valley, complete with wall-to-wall TVs and loud cheering. The new iteration has increased crowd sizes. Skip the "Warm Winter Salad," which is really just roast vegetables in dressing. (Zero greens does not equate to a salad, in my opinion.) There are many similarities to its last incarnation: there is a game room, solid craft beer, but now more sports fan energy (and noise) than before. Service started slow, but ended stronger.
