The staff were kind but the drink was not great. It didn't really taste like matcha and it was very clumpy and too much milk was in the drink. They have a lot of seating indoors and outside.

Incredible views, incredible flavors...what a perfect place to brunch! We brought my husband's mom here for brunch today and everything was just next level fantastic! Vegan options (labeled on the menu) were SO delish. We also had some refreshments from their cafe while we waited for our table and that was an excellent experience as well!

Great place for brunch or a date! The best thing about this restaurant is the incredible view especially if you make a reservation and wait for a seat on the balcony. Came here late on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and we were greeted by the staff promptly. We opted for the Parker rolls, the blackened shrimp tacos, and the duck breast. The duck breast was cooked well with a perfectly crispy skin. They paired it with leeks and a purple sweet potato croquette. The Parker rolls were soft and served with house made butter, they also served us a basil butter which was a good play on their farm to table theme. The blackened shrimp tacos were well seasoned and the sides super fresh. Overall very pleased with Malibu Farm and glad we got to enjoy the waterfront on the weekend. The food is pricey but it's hard to beat the ambience it comes with!

Showed up on a Saturday afternoon on Mother's Day weekend. We took the SF Ferry over which delivers you right to the restaurant. Beautiful location. They have a wonderful ocean view. We walked in with no reservations but there was plenty of seating available at the bar. We were a party of 4, so if you want a table be sure to grab reservations ahead of time. We ordered the baked and raw oysters and we enjoyed the former much more and pleasantly surprised. It's casual so don't feel like you have to dress up too much. I saw that they did a good job of redirecting some under 21 patrons as they attempted to sit at the bar. The bar server forgot to provide us silverware with our plates but was very patient with us while we figured out our order. We also ordered the tuna poke cone, the short rib bao-- the baked oysters were best and the other dishes were good and filling. The tuna poke is just one cone, not ideal for sharing. They should tell folks that upon ordering--we had to ask. The place is modern and clean.

We came here for a celebratory birthday lunch for my daughter. We didn't have reservations but were seated upstairs where we had a fantastic view of the shoreline. Our waiter was excellent and everything we ordered was very good. We will definitely will come back.

The artisanal scoops are excellent, featuring fresh, vibrant California ingredients and house-made waffle cones. Paired with gorgeous views of the bay, it's the perfect spot to grab a dessert.

There's something about Malibu Farm that slows you down in the best way :) when city life gets loud and we need a reset, we head here for our little coastal escape. The indoor + outdoor setup is perfect any time of year! We adore the sunshine and sea breeze on the patio when it's warm, and it's just as nice to sit indoors and enjoy the gorgeous waterfront views when it cools down. Lately, we've come to catch the golden hour glow while watching sailboats gliding by with the SF skyline across the sparkling bay. So gorgeous and so romantic! Add in seasonal, locally sourced Californian cuisine that feels clean yet indulgent and it's the perfect setting for slowing down together. I'd happily recommend this resto for date night, brunch with the girls or a "let's pretend we're on vacation" afternoon :)

This place wouldve been a 5/5 for me I found it so weird with coming on a friday during the day when it wasnt busy they wouldnt seat us at the window. They said the manager wouldnt allow them to. We were even willing to wait for a seating of 2 since they said the other tables were for bigger parties. I could see if it was busy other than that this place was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. Started of with two of their drinks both were good. I am not an oyster person at all I tried two of their oysters cooked & raw and they were both delicious. Next I had the lobster roll perfect bite to share and they were so good warmed. Last I had the blackened shrimp tacos which were seasoned so well. Took a while to come out. If you are looking for a beautiful place to enjoy great food by the water this is your place.

Made Saturday reservations for my party of 5 the day before and most of the available slots were in the afternoon. We were seated indoors on the second floor. I think overall the food was fairly solid for a restaurant that I feel is more for the views/vibes. We shared the Swedish pancakes, artichoke pizza, Maine lobster sliders, ahi poke cones, Malibu blue nachos with steak, and the spicy patatas bravas. My favorite was probably the Malibu blue nachos with steak (though an additional $18 for the steak was pretty steep). The Swedish pancakes were tiny circles and plentiful but I felt like it focused more on quantity than quality. Ahi poke cones were pretty good and generous with the amount of poke, but I thought the sesame cone they came in were alright and would've been better as a wonton chip type of cone. The cone felt a bit too waffle-like and didn't really complement the poke in my opinion. The patatas bravas weren't at the crispiness level that we would've preferred, but the flavor was good. Overall I feel like the food wasn't bad, but also wasn't particularly mindblowing either. Definitely more for experiencing the ambiance. Service was wonderful and all of our dishes came out at the exact same time which was a nice touch! Food presentation was nice too.

It was the perfect brunch moment--warm sunshine, sailboats drifting across the bay, friendly servers, and genuinely delicious food. Malibu Farm absolutely delivered. We started with the crab tacos, finished with a squeeze of lime. Light, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. The lingcod ceviche with taro chips was another win. Such a great pairing, and I loved that the taro chips were ginormous- perfect for scooping up every bite. The ahi tuna was hands-down my favorite. At $17 per cone, one was more than enough to share between two people--and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. For dessert, we went with the butterscotch pudding. Velvety, not overly sweet, and a lovely, satisfying finish to the meal. I could have stayed all afternoon watching sailboats glide by and people-watching as the ferry unloaded. The outdoor seating offers stunning views from every table. Most definitely recommend!

What's not to love about Malibu Farm? A great menu inclusive of vegetarians, a killer view of the bay, friendly and prompt service and yummy food. The mimosas flight was by far the best mimosas I have ever had. It included multiple fresh juices to add- strawberry, watermelon, kale apple, grapefruit and orange. The surfers rancheros were my favorite, very flavorful. The banana chia pancakes were on the dry side. The smoked salmon scramble was pretty good accompanied by an airy focaccia. The restaurant knew we were celebrating an anniversary and they sent over a chocolate opera cake for us, that was pretty sweet of them.

Ehhhh. Came on a weekday at 3:45pm and was advise the 2nd floor is only for entrees and not apps/drinks. Okay....? There was plenty of space upstairs that I noticed, when I went up to use the restroom, but no budge. We were seated outside on the 1st floor. The views are beautiful regardless. We got drinks and a Trio of oysters. This is where my experience went bad. The oysters were not fresh. The raw oysters had more shell than I would like, and they were very pungent and fishy. The wood oven oysters... I spit it out. I knew instantly it had gone bad. My assumption is that when their oysters are no longer acceptable to serve raw, they try to cook it down to reduce waste. It turns out more than one oyster had gone bad... and we spent an eternity trying to flag down a server, that would conveniently avoid all eye contact. Keep in mind it is a weekday afternoon and not busy at all. One oyster fine, that happens, but multiple? That isn't by chance. We sent it back and afterward I felt like we were treated like criminals with more avoidance. After a long time our server came back and agreed the chef said something is wrong with the oysters. Yes, I could tell you that too. No apology, no further acknowledgement that they were rotten, just "We will refund you per oyster." LOL. I hate a place that cannot hold accountability. Just say it how it is and learn from it, but I felt like it was trying to be swept under the rug. Needless to say, I do not want to spend 48 hours on the toilet so I will not be coming back. I have learned from this too... I have learned not to trust them. Cute place. but questionable food safety.

Can the avocado pizza or other options be made without onion or garlic?

They are not very accommodating at making changes to items on the menu. It was one of the things I was very disappointed about. The ambiance is beautiful though. But don't count on them to make changes.

I would love to have lunch here but I was wondering if we can request an outdoor seating closest to the waterfront? I was about to book a reservation but didn't see an option for special requests?

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Yes! They have plenty of outdoor seating - where dogs are allowed to sit.

Not only was it perfectly put together, but everything from the crispy pears, fresh greens, yummy blue cheese, and tasty pecans mixed with the dressing was a party for my palate. Just delicious. The crab cakes were the perfect texture, but honestly they were so salty I didn't enjoy them. But cleaned my plate anyway. My niece loved the linguini and I tasted the chicken and pesto sauce and thought it was extremely delicious. I could tell the pesto wasn't traditional, but it was so packed with flavor it was a delightful experience for my palate. I enjoyed a nice, fresh strawberry mimosa and my niece liked her mimosa. We also had to ask someone if they knew who our server was because no one was around. The sever came over and told us that no one had informed her that she was assigned to this table and that was why we had to wait..... If this sounds like a quality restaurant to attend you're HIGHLY mistaken. If I could give this service 0 stars it would achieve such. Absolutely pitiful. "West coast service" still has yet to touch the southern hospitality we live in.

The fries tasted like they had been fried again before serving. Not sure I'd order this off the happy hour menu again Mussels with Pernod garlic butter - this was good! We ordered two servings. The bread was alright, it's a little disappointing since SF has such good bread everywhere. The mussels were fresh and the delicious sauce was not too buttery. The drinks were ok - they can do any cocktail with their well alcohol for $8 which is a good deal. Service was all over the place. The server was very nice but everything was extremely slow. When we arrived they weren't busy at all so it was very puzzling why everything took so long. They also forgot an order of the french dip sliders we placed when we ordered another round of mussels. When they started to get busy for dinner, we gave up and just walked in to ask for our check. I think it was a pretty good deal overall, but with the ups and downs with service, I may not go back.
