10% surcharge on all food and drink! C'mon man!
A C.

This place is great but gets a a few stars deducted because of the 10% surcharge added to the bill. If they're going to add a surcharge go ahead and do 15% and tell people tip is included - don't also shove a machine in their face asking for 25% more.

The pizza here is sooo good! I feel like you can't go wrong with any pizza here, the super thin and crispy crust tastes so good

I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Sandrino. We had the burrata salad and two pizzas for three of us. We sat outside and the service was friendly. The vegetarian pizza was delicious -- toppings and crust. The place was a bit tricky to find because that block is one way but once we were there we liked it. No view of the water though.

I love this place! We came at 6:45 on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to grab a table. The food was wonderful, from the salad to the pizza to the dessert. The atmosphere is warm and homey, with family photos lining the walls that show just how much love and care goes into both the space and the food. A local at the next table mentioned that this is mostly a neighborhood spot, and we definitely felt like we stumbled onto something special! I'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here today for my birthday! We found a nice spot outdoors with shade. The Greco pizza was divine- thin & crispy crust & the filling was bursting with flavor. Their Caesar salad was perfect- the green were so very fresh and the dressing not too heavy. I enjoyed a delicious affogato for dessert. I would've loved to have given this great spot five stars however we found it challenging to communicate with our server who spoke little to no English. Every question we asked her she shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. Basically none of our questions were answered, which was frustrating but other than that, a great spot for lunch.

Was otw back to SF and wanted to stop by somewhere in Sausalito. The place is very tiny as my party of 2 had to share a table with a family. Burrata (4/5): Very fresh cheese and a lot of veggies. Sausalito pizza (4/5): Come with ham. It was very solid.

as good as I remember I came here first 7 years ago and just revisited today and have to say, their pizza is as good as I remember. they make their pizzas right in front of you and it is served hot right out of the oven. we tried the romeo, trentina, and bufalina. the trentina was my fav. my main critiques of the pizza is 1) the lack of undercarriage - wish the pizza had a little more integrity as the toppings fall off the slice as you pull it off the tray and 2) the price - it is a bit pricey (not to mention the extra 10% service charge). the interior is small, but feels warm and homey, overall, it was great to revisit this spot - a true gem in Sausalito

After a long day exploring the city, we tucked into a delicious meal at Sandrino. It is a small and very cozy place- even out front at the large tables lining the street. We enjoyed the Burrata Salad, Greek Pizza, and Canelloni, with some Chianti. The sincerity of service here is hard to describe- but makes you feel like an honored guest. Highly recommend for a lovely, unpretentious and authentically Italian dining experience.

Cannelloni

Great location. Very cozy interior. Nice staff. Chill atmosphere. And most importantly- delicious food! The pizza was piping hot and had great flavor and texture. I like that it wasn't too salty. The cannelloni was great. I was surprised by the almond flavor of the panacotta (and realized that I much prefer vanilla instead), but it was interesting and had a lovely texture. My son ate the bite of coffee sauce on top, thinking it was a sugar reduction- so he ate all ox the very creamy and delicious vanilla bean gelato instead. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and well worth the trip across the bridge. 4.5 stars.

Warm summer evening, fantastic lasagna, salad, and a bottle of chilled Italian Sauvignon Blanc from Monika's village.. the best!

Wow, what a fantastic experience. It's like a little bit of Italy in the middle of Sausalito. A great mix of locals and tourists, the energy is welcoming and the food is amazing. Pro tip, Sausalito can be A little chilly, even in summer, so if you're sitting outside, bring a warm coat. Inside, all you need is love. Bravo Sandro & Monika!

Truffle Caciotta

Sandrino is a very cute Italian spot that makes you feel that in your mother's kitchen. The servers were welcoming and answered our questions regarding the menu. For our party of 4, we ordered the Truffle Caciotta pizza and the Mozzarella Speck appetizer and it was enough to share! The Mozzarella Speck was delicious and I highly recommend. The server was very sweet and brought us two extra pieces of bread for our party. The bread was warm and I liked using it to soak up the remaining sauce on the plate. The Truffle Caciotta had a nice truffle flavor that was not overpowering. The pizza crust had a nice chew and was a solid pizza overall. We asked for their chili oil and it balanced out the pizza very well. I will definitely come back to Sandrino if I'm in the area again to try their other pizzas!

Cake and gelato, tiramisu
J I.

Small but quaint restaurant...nice service Pizza is good, pretty light for pizza-Satisfying though...the great thing is there is room for home made Tiramisu and chocolate cake w/gelato Great place for lunch (There is a 10% service for employee health care but why is it not included in cost of business?)

Outside dining! A must when you have a pup!

Warm sun, salty breeze, that glittering bay doing its thing. We stepped off the boat and walked straight into a small handmade vendor fair, plus an unofficial dog parade. Golden retrievers, tiny fluff balls, chill older pups all living their best lives. After wandering through the booths and poking around the cute little shops, we started the serious business of finding food and drinks that were dog friendly. Venice Gourmet basically made the decision for us. The harbor view alone is worth sitting down for but the charcuterie and champagne sealed it. We grabbed a table outside, ordered a spread, and just slowed down for a minute. Good snacks, good bubbles, boats drifting by, and great company. Easy day trip. Easy win. Would absolutely come back.

You need to order yourself first at the counter and then they will call your number and then you can get your food from the counter and take it to your table. They have tables inside and outside. We were going into the city to explore and stopped in Sausalito to catch the ferry…read more We had missed the one we intended to take, so we walked around a bit and decided to try out Taste of Rome for brunch. It is a cute little deli/bakery/restaurant. They gave us a menu and we sat down, but we ended up ordering at the counter. My girlfriend ordered the Fiorentina - Egg White with Spinach, Mushroom & Garlic and I got the Piemontese - Spicy Ground Beef, Mushroom, Spinach & Gorgonzola Cheese. We both throughly enjoyed our meals! The ground beef was not spicy at all though. We were hoping we had left room for a sweet treat, but we were stuffed!! I don't know if I'll make the special trip out here again, but if we are around, we might come again to try a sweet treat!

I'm really disappointed with my recent experience ordering from this restaurant through Grubhub…read more I understand that Grubhub handles delivery logistics, but it's still the restaurant's responsibility to communicate with customers when there are issues. I was left waiting about 45 minutes with no update--no notice of a delay, no mention that there might not be a driver available, nothing. What made it worse was calling the restaurant for help. The response I received felt dismissive, and I was simply told the order was canceled. There was no effort to assist or provide any explanation. Yes, I received a refund, but that's not the point. Good customer service is about communication and respect for your customers' time. A quick update could have made a big difference. I hope the restaurant improves how they handle situations like this and works more closely with Grubhub to keep customers informed.

The perfect ending to an unforgettable day!…read more After an incredible bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge, we were absolutely starving and decided to stop at Poggio Trattoria. It turned out to be one of the best dining experiences of our entire Fourth of July weekend! A special thank you to Maria at the front, who welcomed us with such kindness and found us a wonderful table on the beautiful outdoor patio. It was the perfect place to relax after our ride and soak in the lively Sausalito atmosphere. Our server, Christie, was exceptional. My husband has celiac disease, and I have multiple food allergies and sensitivities, so dining out can often be stressful. Christie listened carefully, answered all of our questions, and made us feel completely comfortable. Her knowledge, patience, and attention to detail allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our meal. The food was outstanding! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It is such a gift to find a restaurant where delicious food and excellent allergy awareness go hand in hand. The patio atmosphere was everything you hope for in Sausalito...beautiful weather, people enjoying the holiday weekend, and the perfect setting to celebrate after an unforgettable ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. Great food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality made this one of our favorite meals of the trip. A heartfelt thank you to Maria, Christie, and the entire team at Poggio Trattoria.
