Such a great spot for outdoor seating and food/wine. They have a kid playground which is nice for the families, it is also away from other seating so those that don't care to be near children have options. The pizza is thin and flavorful. Soooo good! Ok so the place is super cute and aesthetic. The pizza bread was good! It was really thin pizza. When you sit you take ur own order with a QR code so not sure why they asked for tip... The ranch tastes funny, you have to get your own ranches and if you order a soda or a lemonade just be ready it's watered down and no fizz Good thin pizza tho! Very disappointing experience. Before unloading my wife, two young daughters, and visiting parents from the car, I specifically went inside to confirm they had gluten-free pizza available. I even asked whether they were running low, and was assured they had plenty in stock and weren't at risk of running out. After getting everyone settled, spending time reviewing the menu, and placing our order, we were informed that they had actually run out of gluten-free crusts. I understand that restaurants run out of inventory, but I was frustrated because I had specifically checked beforehand and was given incorrect information. As a result, our family spent nearly 30 minutes getting situated and excited to eat, only to leave hungry and find another restaurant. Not sure I'll be willing to make the trip and try again. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at this place. The craft beer selection is amazing with tons of rotating rare drafts as well as refrigerators stocked with cans to go. The pizzas are quite good as well... I really enjoyed the Ohio with the slightly spicy honey twist on a classic pepperoni. I definitely recommend this place. The parking is a little difficult, but worth it. read more

Stopped by on my way to Mt Tam for a hike and split a pizza with some friends. We got a pizza that had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and some other fun things. Honestly the pizza was really good, no complaints. The indoor/outdoor seating was really pleasant and spacious, and the service was great. read more

Decided to order in pizza, PizzaHacker was one of the top pizza places to try in Marin so we gave it a run. Being it was delivered I don't have anything to add as far as the dine in experience but overall we loved the pizza. We order the Ohio and Forbidden Fruit pizza's and an order of the Meatballs. Loved the sour dough crust on both pizza's, came out a perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The crust was nice and thin and toppings were all high quality. The Ohio was savory from the pepperoni with a nice amount of vinegar from the pepperoncinis. The Forbidden Fruit was a good combination of sweet and spice with the combo of jalapeños and pineapple, add in the savory from the ham and it was nice and balanced. The meatballs were good, only complaint was they were a bit dry. Overall I loved the food and only reason I Gave it 4 stars was because I didn't dine in. Will have to stop in for a meal at some point. read more

Such an unassuming place. The place is actually really big! The pizza was elevated and pretty tasty! You can order to go or dine in. They have a beer and wine bar, lots of selection. Would come back with a larger crowd, tvs for watching the Olympics, will definitely be back! read more

This place is a 180 from the one on Mission Street in San Francisco as I had wanted to try their location in Mill Valley. This place is bigger with lots of outdoor seating and more geared for families with kids. Upon arrival we chose to sit at the bar which is run independently (The Junction) from the restaurant. Great vibe with 2 flat screens to watch sporting vents. Bar seating has six stools which was great since it was not crowded as most of the guests were dining outdoors or inside. Pizza is ordered separately when doing a combo which we did. Will definitely return if I'm in the area! read more

This place was absolutely amazing. Once we found out they offer a generous military discount, we went all in--six pizzas and two orders of meatballs--and didn't leave a single bite behind. It was that good. The pizzas are truly out of this world: perfectly made dough, light and flavorful, and they don't leave you feeling heavy afterward. The meatballs were just as impressive--unlike the usual dry, bland ones, these were packed with flavor from the first bite to the last. On top of the incredible food, the customer service was outstanding. The guy at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly he genuinely made me want to hit the highest tip option. I would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone--an amazing experience all around. read more

after the muir woods, and days of camping, we wanted pizza. this place did pizza so so well. i think it's called Neapolitan style, like with the thin chewy crust and all. they have a wide variety of flavors of pizza but we went with the spicy salami one, hot soppressata and mushroom. that's always my favorite. the kale salad with the cesar was also super delish. it was too much food, even for us famished little hikers. we boxed a few slices and called it a day. the outdoor patio looked cute, they were having some kind of taylor swift themed concert cuz every girl was wearing a little taylor swift like dress LOL but unfortunately the patio was closed because of this, so we just ended up eating on the front patio which was much less glamorous. will surely come back here next time i'm north of the san fran bay! read more

I'm really on the fence about PizzaHacker. There are things I like and one thing I really do not like at all---but am reluctant to attach it to this review, but it kinda is important. The parking and access to this place off of one of the busiest areas in So Marin. I really love the beer-hall aspects, the outdoor little window making ordering super-cool and easy as well as the amazing variety of brews. The pizza was...well, ok. The little playground can be nice. I brought my two little nieces and nephew here. Somehow, sometimes, beer for adults and a little playground kinda maybe sorta are a little incompatible. Just saying. It was ok in the end. The outdoor tables make for a very casual setting. In the end, this is not a reasonably priced place as the pours were kinda short for the cost and pizza high for, well, ok pizza. But, the area is great. Great access to and fro Tam Junction and Highway 1. However, the parking is brutal. I cannot imagine even thinking of maybe trying to park here. People park across the highway (yikes!) and I'm not sure that's cool to the other businesses. It's a mess, but if you're cool with all those things, it's probably a nice place, but there's a lot of places where parking is easier and you get taller beers that are locally sourced (as these are). read more

If you're looking for pizza and a party, PizzaHacker is just that. Came by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was jam packed and bumpin with live music. The massive dog friendly patio and indoor tables were all open seating with QR code ordering. I took a picture of the menu up front to avoid the back and forth of clicking into the menu items to see what was on each pie. We ordered the Summer fave and short bridge pizzas. Thoroughly enjoyed both and couldn't pick a favorite of the two since they were so different. We easily could've gotten one pizza for the two of us because they were pretty large, but ended up taking home half of each to have a full pie for later. They have a pretty extensive beer list with both beers on tap and in the can. Didn't end up getting anything, but was impressed by the variety. Parking in the front is for pickup only, so head straight to the large parking lot on the side/back to grab a spot if you're dining in. read more

Above average pizza. Crust is great, and would consider it one of the better pizza spots to hang out with friends in Marin. Parking was great. Did not like ordering from a QR code at the table. Wish it had a couple cocktails as an offering. Not asking for a bar but a couple seasonal cocktails to offer the customer. I know it does not have a full license, but I've seen cocktails offered at other beer and wine spots that were really good. Overall, great patio, love the patio, and pizza was great read more

Good food and vibe, but ruined by the tech and service mode: I've been coming here for years, but it sadly feels like PizzaHacker has gone down a bit lately. The biggest issue now is the ordering process. They force you to scan a QR code to do everything, and then they tack on a vague "me&u Service Charge" at the end (not entirely clear if it's a credit card fee or what). To make matters worse, the interface forces you to click on a tip amount just to advance to the payment screen, which is incredibly irritating for a self-service model. As for the food, it's a mixed bag. The Margherita pizza was still good, and the atmosphere is always nice. However, we also ordered the Kale Caesar salad--it was okay, but the chicken on top seemed like that heavily processed, spongy white meat, which was a real letdown. It's a bummer because the vibe is still there, but the friction of the ordering system and a dip in food quality makes it hard to love like I used to read more

But the service here was great, it really does feel like a community minded restaurant. There were kids, families, friends, groups, everybody having a fantastic time on a beautiful day. Delicious pizza and salads. We were in this afternoon for the first time and had a great experience. All of the pizzas we tried (Margherita, Ohio, Get a Room and Short Bridge) were all fantastic! Cooked perfectly and the crust was great! We tried the Italian Chop and it was delicious. We ordered 1 and it was enough to share with 4 adults as a side. Service was friendly and food comes out pretty quickly! You can order from the table and there's a fun play area for the kiddos, so it's very casual, but a great place to kick back, relax and have some great food. Not the establishment's fault, but it can get pretty hectic by the play area. It seems like a lot of local sports teams like to go here after games/practice and there were a lot of older kids (10-12) taking over the play structure, so if you have toddlers or younger children, keep a look out so they don't get trampled. read more

Not very impressed. How do you have tea and no sweeteners? My mom is asking. Our pizza was much later than the rest. Had the shroom. The server didn't come back when we asked her to check for sweetener. No offers to help or offer something else. Then when they finally brought the last pizza (only 4 ordered) he was trying to leave without the plates. They got busy after we ordered, no excuses. I'm sad that they weren't better at service. Tip upfront, another dislike. Good place for families if you get good service. read more

I love the crust at this place!! I've only ever been here for large parties but this is the type of place I'd frequent if I lived local. This is quite a drive from where we live but man it's good so I was quite happy to come back. They share a spot with Junction and the two together compliment each other in every delicious way. Great selection of craft beer and other libations combined with a fantastic variety of pizza equal bliss. Parking can be hard. Service is also really great. If it's only enforced during busy periods, that's exactly when customers should be clearly informed before they spend time waiting in line. I'm sure Hook Fish is popular with regulars who already know how the system works. For a first-time customer, though, the experience was confusing and frustrating.
