Pizza - large, grilled chicken and roasted red peppers

Honestly, for a chain pizza restaurant this was pleasing and I would order again. That being said upfront, was it amazing? Did it destroy all pizza previously? Would I place it above all other local pizzas? No, but it was tasty, warm, reasonably priced, quick, and made just the way I asked. Nothing really more I can ask for there. I randomize pizzas sometime to explore flavor combinations and I was pleased to see dominos make this order and deliver it with haste. Would I recommend? Yes Would I go back (pending Covid)? Yes

Great customer service! We ordered a pizza on-line and it was some confusion about the topping when we went to pick it up but the manager was super helpful and quickly remade another pizza without any issues. Very professional team, good value, always on time and the pizza was amazing. We appreciate everyone at the Domino's Mill Valley. Thank you for your hard working!

2.5 of allowed. So we ordered for delivery tonight- the Brooklyn with pepperoni. We have ordered pizza from here a few times before and usually it is very good- however, not sure what was going on with it tonight. 1st time with the Brooklyn. The cheese was gritty and left a slime taste in your mouth. It wasn't even chewy! Something went wrong here. We will order again and give them another chance just because we are thinking it was an off night- but if it happens again we are done. Very fast on the making and delivery so that was good- We also ordered the BBQ chicken wings- not good at all- sorry - very undercooked. Bad night for Dominos.

The $14.99 sandwich was pre-cut and full of thick pieces of steak. There was a ton of arugula and pickled red onion. This was a very good homemade tasting sandwich of great quality. The market itself is pretty low key, very dense and small. It has everything you need but it doesn't have the produce that I would normally get at a Whole Foods or Good Earth. The service was good and it was very convenient to go to. We will definitely come back to get sandwiches here whenever we have a picnic nearby. It was convenient. The redwood park nearby did not disappoint.

Tam, we stopped by the popular Sol Food in Mill Valley for the first time!…read moreAnd I don't know if it was because of the 8-mile hike I just finished or what, but the food absolutely hit the spot! First of all, we came during an off-hour, around 3:30pm, and there was still a line to order at the counter. They provided complementary ice water from a dispenser outside with cups, which was really nice. Once we placed our orders, we stood outside with everyone else as the indoor area is pretty small with only limited counter seating at the window. We waited about 5 minutes to order and another 10-15 for our food. Most people set up camp on the tailgates of their cars in the parking lot, so we did the same. Pro tip: some people brought camping chairs and coolers to make it into a real tailgate, which I thought was really cool. - Pollo al horno: ordered the Large plate which came with generous portion of chicken, white rice, choice of fried garlic plantain or sweet plantain (or one of each), side of beans (choice of black or pink), and a side salad. Chicken was marinated very nicely and wasn't too dry. - Bistec encebollado: ordered the Large plate also which came with the same as above. Steak was cooked well and surprisingly tender enough to cut easily. Both plantains were good but I really liked the garlic one because it was different than the sweet plantains I'm used to. The Large plate portion sizes were huge! Although the price did reflect this, I think it was still worth for the amount of food given.

We usually sit in the park behind the deli and look at the house boats while we eat our sandwiches. So nice. I love the sandwiches because they make all the meats and toppings fresh every day and create really creative, delicious sandwiches. It's hard to find sandwiches with real homemade meats and lots of veggies and homemade sauces that aren't mustard or Russian dressing. I also love the Twerks, which is the delicious veggie topping combo you can get on your sandwiches: Spinach, Arugula, Cucumber, Carrots, Radish, Beets, Green Sprouts & Bean Sprouts, Salt, Fresh Lemon, Pepper, Roasted Garlic and Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sauces. I usually get the turkey pesto melt with the twerks, and it's a top five sandwich. I dream about it. I've tried some of the veggie wraps, my partner loves the pork sandwiches, and my daughter gets a grilled cheese on Dutch crunch. All delicious. The only negative is that the sandwiches are expensive and take a while but the quality and flavor make it worth it. We usually call ahead to order so we don't have to wait long.

What I received was just meat and cheese, no onions, no cilantro, nothing else. Mistakes happen, so I walked back up to the counter to point it out. Instead of a quick fix, the situation turned into an argument between the front staff and the kitchen about whether the taco had been made correctly. I stepped in to clarify and explained that I had literally just shown the taco to the cashier. At that point, I was essentially told they couldn't verify it because I hadn't physically handed it back to them, while the kitchen insisted it had been made with onions and cilantro. It got awkward fast. Rather than simply remaking the taco, the whole exchange felt like I was being accused of making it up over a $9 order. At that point, I decided to leave. It's not about the taco, it's about how the situation was handled. If there's an issue, just fix it and move on. Turning it into a debate with the customer is not the move. They really need to do better on basic customer service.

Our kids sucked down there super small cokes that come in the combo while they waited for their food. As soon as we got our food, we pulled over and started eating the fries or some of the worst coldest driest rubbery fries I've ever gotten from any drive-through. The chicken sandwich was a joke. The bun was so dry and crumbly, I had to peel all of the rock hard edges off just to bite into the sandwich and when I did, the grilled chicken was rubbery, stale, and lukewarm I can't believe we waited so long and the food wasn't fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting there half the night before they gave it to us. I'm all for paying high price for quality food. If it's worth it, this sadly was not. all four of us got home and complained individually about our experience. Pretty sad for a $75 drive-through order which consisted of three combos and an extra hamburger. Definitely will make efforts to avoid this place in the future. I feel bad, giving poor ratings, but I also do not like when restaurants rest on their laurels have high priced food yet the quality and the experience don't match.

Just a bit different, no need to overdo things in this little area behind the small Menke Park / Piccolo Pavilion area in Corte Madera. Hiding in plain sight as it were, there have always been salons of one stripe or another along the block, essentially a salon of salons. For a time I did find something here for myself, way back when vhs rental movies were a thing. This was in a fairly large retail space, almost like a separate little cottage at the far east end, around the corner and somewhat hidden from view from the parking lot. Ironic then that this is the very place I find myself going again today. Zonda Meats is the addition to this area that's especially timely now as grocers nearby are closed, and premium quality butcher shops almost nonexistent. I happened on Zonda the other day while biking down the little side street of Montecito that forms the east side of the small park. The owner in residence, Alberto Lataliste, is from Argentina but has been in the USA for many years. I worked in northern Argentina for more than a decade and developed a great appetite for the beef raised there, and the way cuts of meat often follow muscle groups rather than slicing through them as is done here. Alberto's focus on meat quality is to identify and import quality producers there and delivering without freezing or addition of preservative. The selection is extensive so you'll benefit from making your own quality comparisons. In addition to the meat counter, there are excellent sandwiches and in near future my own favorite, empanada. The sandwiches are very generous and outside is a pleasant courtyard with tables for lunch. I'm glad to see an assortment of imported preserved meat, and another favorite of mine, Dulce de Leche from Argentina, which is much superior to the few brands made here. So here's to a great reception for Zonda Meats, arriving just in time for summer grilling in my backyard parrilla.

We have been pleased with all of the products we've purchased from Zonda - ribeye steaks, pork chops, bacon, and a variety of sausages. So many don't. The staff has always been exceptionally helpful. They're always ready to make recommendations and to help you select the perfect cut of meat. The shop itself is clean and bright.
